Field Trip To Green Fur Ranch Ends. Cultural Festival On The Horizon!

As they talk, Sugawara notices Phil and begins to stare at him. Phil notices and gets nervous and looks away with a sweat. Sugawara then gets a look of realization.

Sugawara "You were the body I saw Joseph dragging earlier!"

Everyone stops and looks at them before Joseph speaks up.

Joseph "Oh, right. You see, Phil here was out doing some chores earlier. We don't like to let people see him as he can be a little scary to some folks but when I went to check on him, he was passed out in the barn with a bad case of heat exhaustion so I had to drag him back into the freezer to cool down."

He says with a smile as Piper sighs and shakes her head. Shiori looks at Phil.

Shiori "Do Fleshrovers need to stay cool?"

Phil "Huh? Oh no, I just can't stand the heat. Haha!"

He says while laughing confidently. Shiori sweats at his silly response.

Piper "Alright, it's been a long night so all of y'all get cleaned up and back to your rooms."

The class nods and do as told. Vanessa escorts Sugawara and Haru to their room when Sugawara gets a confused look.

Sugawara "I just realized only our room was locked. Why is that?"

He asks Vanessa. She smiles softly before answering.

Vanessa "I knew you were getting suspicious so I thought to take some extra precautions to keep you inside and away from danger. Although it didn't seem to stop you."

She says with a smile as they enter their room. Vanessa then notices the lock on the door is broken.

Vanessa "Huh? I didn't know you were so strong. Don't worry, we'll fix it up."

She says before closing the door. Sugawara looks at the broken lock with a confused look.

Sugawara "But I went through the window.."

He says softly before turning around to look at Haru. He is surprised and rolls over so his back is facing Sugawara. He blushes in embarrassment.

Haru "I heard you scream…"

Sugawara realizes it was him and smiles warmly while blushing. He cuddles against Haru's back and smiles happily.

Sugawara "I love you, Haru."

Haru smiles a bit as they drift off to sleep.

Come the next morning, the class is given breakfast before their bus arrives to take them back home.

Piper "Now I hope you kids learned something interesting to take back home with ya."

Class 'I think we learned more than intended…'

Sugawara shyly approaches Joseph who looks surprised.

Sugawara "I'm really sorry for… you know, accusing you guys of being cannibals and such…"

Joseph gives him a soft smile before crouching down in front of him.

Joseph "Don't worry about it kiddo. You were only looking out for your friends. You've got a good head on your shoulders, you're smart. Don't let your mistakes weaken your resolve."

Sugawara gives him a warm smile as the class packs up and prepares to leave. They wave to the farmers as Joseph, Piper, Vanessa and even Phil all wave the kids off as they get on the bus and drive off. Joseph looks at his daughter.

Joseph "Thank you Vanni for coming down and helping us with the kids."

Piper "It really means a lot to us, sweetheart."

Vanessa smiles warmly.

Vanessa "Of course, you're my parents. I wouldn't hesitate to come help you guys."

She looks back at the farm and sighs a bit.

Vanessa "I do miss this place from time to time."

She says softly. Piper and Joseph look at each other before nodding a bit.

Joseph "Then why don't you take a part of it with you?"

Vanessa looks at them confused as they nod their heads in a direction past her. She turns around and looks at Phil who is surprised as they all stare at him.

Phil "What?"

Vanessa "You think he's ready?"

She asks her parents.

Piper "Yes. You two grew up together and we think it's time he leaves to go see the world too."

Phil "Woah! Really?! I can go with her??"

He asks, excitedly.

Joseph "Only if she will take you in. You're certainly not ready to go on your own."

He says, sweating a bit. Vanessa turns and looks at him as he grabs her hands and smiles widely.

Phil "Oh, please please Vanessa! I'm ready, I swear!"

She stares at his large eyes as she blushes a bit and smiles.

Vanessa "Of course."

Phil jumps with joy.

Phil "Alright! I can't wait to see what the city is like!"

He stops and smiles warmly as Vanessa.

Phil "Thank you Vanessa."

She blushes and nods happily as Joseph and Piper smile warmly.

On the bus ride home, Alice looks out the window as Suiyoubi sits with her bag in her lap and a soft smile on her face. Her bag moves around a bit as Mormo pops his head out.

Mormo "Hey goth-head, you okay?"

She looks at him confused.

Suiyoubi "Of course. Why wouldn't I be?"

Mormo "Oh, you know, no reason. I just heard a lot of commotion last night and just… wanted to check up on ya."

She smiles warmly.

Suiyoubi "I appreciate your concern."

Mormo blushes a bit while crossing his arms.

Mormo "Yeah well don't get used to it. It just would be a real hassle if you died or somethin' and there was no one left to take care of me. This bear body can be real fragile sometimes, ya know? If I had my real body, I would've been able to handle those monsters no problem!"

He puts his stuffed bear fists up and punches the air a couple times as Suiyoubi giggles. In another seat, Shiori sleeps on Hikigaya's shoulder, snoring and drooling a bit. Hikigaya looks at her and blushes.

Hikigaya 'So cute.'

He thinks as Ryuji props himself over the chair in front of them and looks back at Hikigaya.

Ryuji "Hey Hikigaya. I've been wondering but, do you still have a crush on that cloud girl you've been looking for?"

He says softly so as not to disturb Shiori. Hikigaya is a bit surprised by his question but answers honestly.

Hikigaya "Yeah, I think so. I just wish I could find her. It'd be easier if I could remember what she looks like…"

He thinks for a moment and remembers her smile, her nose and some of her hair but not her eyes. He then looks down at Shiori and stares at her for a moment.

Hikigaya 'She almost looks like…'

He thinks before shaking his head gently.

Hikigaya "No way. That'd be too weird."

Ryuji smiles.

Ryuji "We'll still help you look for her. I'm sure we'll find her eventually."

He says before sitting back down next to Lucy who looks at him smiling.

Lucy "It might not be as weird as he thinks."

She whispers as Ryuji nods. Shiori continues to sleep the entire ride home.

In November, the class sits silently as Samuel begins. She slams her hand against the chalkboard with big words written on it.

Samuel "Alright! The time has come for us to put together our own project for the Cultural Festival!"

She says with a serious look. The class stares for a moment.

Daiki "That shouldn't be too hard."

Kitaro "Honestly, the play was probably much worse."

Alice "There was a festival this year?"

Touma shrugs. Samuel sweats and is shocked.

Samuel "Come on guys! It's time for the Cultural Festival! Aren't you excited?"

She asks enthusiastically. The class has a neutral response.

Samuel "Well, I used to love them in highschool… Anyway, we, as a class, have to come up with a themed experience to participate in the festival that will be open to the public. We only have a short time to prepare so let's start brainstorming!"

Alice "I know! Let's have a Shayblade tournament! We'll provide the blades!"

She says while holding four in between her fingers, confidently.

Samuel "Yeah, I don't think so."

Alice "Shot down immediately!"

She yells, stunned.

Kitaro "Why don't we just set up a videogame room?"

Hisana "Kitaro, you always want to play videogames!"

She says pouting a bit. The class argues for a moment before Kuzan speaks up, coolly from his seat.

Kuzan "Why don't we do a maid cafe?"

Everyone stops and looks at him as he smiles.

Lucy "Don't you think that's a bit overdone?.."

Haru "Yeah, and other classes are definitely gonna think of that idea."

Suiyoubi "People do like seeing girls in maid outfits though."

Kuzan "No."

Everyone is surprised as he opens his eyes and looks sharply at the class.

Kuzan "The guys are the maids."

Everyone is stunned as the guys sweat.

Ryuji "Maybe not…"

Hikigaya "I don't think that-"

Alice/Chizuru/Hisana "YES!"

They all shout as they stand up and nosebleed or steam and blush. They start gushing over.

Daiki "Don't we get a say in this?"

Airi "Don't act like you weren't down for the girls doing it."

He sweats and laughs a bit. Samuel wants to debate the idea but sighs and smiles.

Samuel "Alright alright. It sounds like the class has made a decision. So let's go with Kuzan's idea. Let's get started with development."

She starts with cafe design as the class gathers to give ideas and such. Kitaro then approaches Kuzan with a cartoonishly angry look.

Kitaro "I hope you don't think you're not dressing up too. I'll make sure you-"

Kuzan "On the contrary, I look forward to it."

He says with sharp eyes. Kitaro sweats and looks upset before turning around.

Kitaro "Whatever."
