" Surgito!"
Andromeda ended the strange stand off by hopefully removing any control of Henry's mind. Surgito wouldn't remove anything too powerful like the Imperius curse but any other enchantments were fair game. There was no guarantee anything or anyone was controlling her son but everything Henry displayed today was far from normal.
" Hal, son try to fight whatever is going on with you. Resist the darkness and come back to us my boy."
Ted was worried beyond belief and was hoping his words could still reach his son. Alfred and Isabella were far less proficient with their wands and in this situation were a bit tense. Their life span may be longer and they were not in horrible physical shape for their age but they were worried their current physical fitness was not enough to capture and restrain Henry.
While negotiations seemed to go swimmingly when Cygnus and the Malfoys were present, that was far from the truth. The revelation of a so called pure blood dream coming from Henry's own mouth seemed like the boy was possessed. Hence that's exactly what the Tonks elders and parents believed. Alfred and Isabella didn't know much on the subject of possession but they were betting this is what it looked like. Naturally the Tonks family would not confront the situation in front of the possible enemies that were the Malfoys and Cygnus so all they could do was wait for a controlled environment like this one.
" Well... this is an appropriate response if I think about it."
As Henry said those words he calmly walked to the couch and sat down.
" You should all take a seat and calm down. I'm not possessed, though I do have a few things to explain I guess."
Cautiously the Tonks family took a seat opposite Henry. The wands did not go away, they simply pointed at him from a rested position.
" First and foremost everything I stated in front of Grandpa Black and the Malfoys is true. I uncovered a lot of Voldemort's past and while I don't agree with the man I do see merit in the whole pure blood supremacy nonsense."
" A boy who went from talking like a polite child now talks like a grown man, calls pure blood supremacy nonsense but supports it, manages to broker a deal with a room full of adults. If you're not possessed what are you?" Isabella asked.
" Ah well it's actually the reason I avoided Durmstrang. I seem to have a connection to one of their former students..."
" What student?" Andromeda questioned.
" Gellert Grindelwald."
The name was not new to those in the room. In actuality a few moments before Henry had deemed Riddle nothing more than the mans copycat. The idea that Henry was in anyway connected to the man horrified Ted and Andromeda while Alfred and Isabella were conflicted.
In their history lessons with Henry they did cover the man known as Gellert Grindelwald. While his methods were less than acceptable, his over arching goal of doing away with the international Statute of Wizarding Secrecy were not an entirely bad idea to them.
They had no idea if the non magical world was ready for Wizards but they knew all the advantages Wizards would have provided during the war or even more common necessities like public safety, medicine, and other facets of life.
" How are you connected?" Andromeda asked as she visibly trembled.
" Don't worry too much mum. I'm not connected to the man directly. I just happen to share one of his more idolized gifts, I'm a seer."
" The hell is that!?" Alfred yelled.
" I can see the future grandpa. Well more accurately speaking I can see glimpses of a future not THE future. It's all very convoluted and hush hush as divination is usually seen as 'fake' magic by most. "
" I've been seeing things for a few years now. My intelligence isn't as high as the rest of you like to think, I just had a lot of knowledge to draw upon. Unfortunately there's also a future I'm trying to avoid."
The room for the umpteenth time today was flabbergasted at the ridiculous things going on.
Alfred and Isabella more or less believed the boy as this was about as plausible as anything else in the Wizarding world, not to mention there was apparently a precedent. A dark sociopathic precedent but precedent nonetheless. Ted and Andromeda on the other hand were holding on to the idea that their son was possessed.
" I know it sounds insane but I guarantee you that the oh so great Harry Potter will appear in Diagon Alley this 31st of July. On that same day vault 713 will be broken into by some unknown dark wizard. The report should appear on the prophet a few days after classes start at Hogwarts. Either way on the 31st we can all confirm if I'm a liar or not. Nothing more than a few days wait anyway."
" Even if everything you say is true, are you insinuating that being a seer made you more mature to seemingly the extent of an adult?" Ted questioned.
" Sort of? I don't deny I'm intelligent but I don't know if I'm mature. Motivated is a more likely word. In the future I saw Voldemort returns, countless tragedies occur, and eventually half the worlds population vanishes. Our world is in danger and muggle kind would be a powerful aid to relieve the incoming disasters."
While previously the room was starting to go his way, at these words the entire Tonks family seemed to be siding with possession once more. Alfred and Isabella were starting to veer more towards delusional actually.
" We may not have Veritaserum ourselves but I'm sure our new family members do. I'd be more than happy to drink some if you'd like."
Finally Ted and and Andromeda seemed to have calmed down. If Henry was willing to go so far it meant he was confident in his truth.
" Sorry Hal, but you know you've given us far too much information and scares today." Andromeda said.
Ted and Andromeda semi-confidently put their wands away but were now terrified of their sons vision of the future. Particularly the knowledge that Voldemort's return would result in the end of half the world's population. What madness was this.
Isabella on the other hand spoke the question on her and Alfreds mind.
" What is this veri-whatever-serum that can make you two drop your guard so easily?"
As Ted was about to reply, Henry cut him off.
" Truth serum grandma. Not anything like the fringe science the allies or the axis powers developed but true blue honest to god truth serum."
" Wizards have real truth serum!?"
Of the many crazy things discussed today this came as the greatest shock to Alfred and Isabella.
Truth serum was real.
Such a resource could change the world. Criminals, politicians, any one with a dark secret could never hide the truth. Just like they thought, the revelation of wizard kind could truly help the world at large. At the same time they saw the benefits, they began to see the demerits.
Exhibit A Grindelwald, Exhibit B Voldemort. Seems like revealing wizards to the world is usually led by sociopathic and genocidal maniacs. Even then if you managed to provide a proper individual to liaison with humanity it could still have an extreme backlash. If you took away the cruelty from Grindelwald, his original message was hard not to believe in and see the merit of. Should the man have used other methods he likely would have succeeded, yet integrating wizards in to current society would be a hard won effort. Not for fear of their abilities as that may be easier to stomach after a time, I mean if the captain was accepted why wouldn't they be. No common everyday people wouldn't be the problem. The problem would be politicians and businessmen who would resort to any means possible to eliminate beings that could destroy several of their interests.
As late bloomers with largely muggle ties and being retired military personnel Alfred and Isabella struggled to not use their new gifts to aid their friends for these past few years. Admittedly this point largely drew them to Henry's insane plan. At the same time they feared their grandson would turn out just like exhibit A and B. His psychological profile suggested as much and letting this kid pursue such a path could be terrifying. Now he supposedly can see the future to boot. As always without a word Alfred and Isabella seemed to have come to consensus that they needed to get their hands on this truth serum.
" Why would wizard kind need muggle aid to avert the disaster of Riddle , Hal?" Andromeda asked as she wondered how muggles could ever really help wizards in magical combat of any shape or form. She may not discriminate against muggles but, despite her interaction with muggle kind, she did see herself as someone more powerful than they would ever be.
" Oh no mum, Voldemort is not the main problem here. In the grand scheme of things he's a nobody. A danger to our family? Sure. Still he's not a real danger to the world at large. No the problems of the world are created by muggles but will affect Wizards. Their world will begin bleeding into ours just like it did when Nagasaki and Hiroshima were bombed. Japanese wizards avoided the muggles war but were harmed by it nonetheless. It's an eventuality really. As long as technology advances wizarding kinds ability to remain hidden will lessen."
" When we can no longer hide. No matter what we do our presence will be feared, hated, and eventually hunted. Don't forget that Wizards are not immune to bullets and bombs. We can very much be hunted by muggles. In turn Wizards harmed by muggles will retaliate in kind and hell on Earth will descend. So to avoid the worst situation possible we need to assimilate the two species as early as we can. That will be both species salvation and key to survival."
These words led to an inquisition like no other.
Eventually the family stopped discussing the somber future as Henry was growing weary of the endless questions and reminded them he had glimpses of the future not the whole picture. He explained that pure blood supremacy was not his goal in anyway but he needed support from such families if there would ever be hope of integrating the wizarding world with the non magical world.
Saying his final piece he decided to go to his room as it was getting past his bedtime. The almost religious adherence to his bedtime made the Tonks family go back to familiar territory and semblance of peace.
Quite frankly there were endless issues with a plan for pure blood supremacy and Henry's was heavily rooted in idealism instead of reality. Simply put the pureblood families would never be united enough nor would they be able to overcome their prejudice. Now that would be real magic. Henry had no such magic however as prejudice could not be overcome with mere words. What Henry was peddling was a dream, he was not in anyway committed to achieving said dream.
No his goal was much simpler.
Absorb the death eaters.
Those guys had the powerful spells and weren't afraid to use them.
The lethal part of the Wizarding world Henry dreaded is that certain spells were far more terrifying on a global scale than at the individual level. The imperius curse alone could be used to cause major destruction when used on a few key individuals in his original Earth's timeline. Combine those spells with the current muggle world of the MCU and well hell on Earth could descend fairly quickly.
Nukes. Nukes everywhere. Evil Avengers. Evil Wakanda. The list goes on.
Not to mention even at the individual level the wizarding world was quite lethal. A properly done maledictus curse had no cure, obliviate could leave you brain dead, reducto and expulso could wipe you from existence. Defending against such things wasn't impossible if you were non magical as wizards luckily weren't the most athletic of beings but non magical beings were definitely at a disadvantage. Especially when you consider that every wizard had the potential to destroy souls with very little to no real form of protection against the spell. The reality was that a well placed and timed avada spell could kill most if not all beings in the Marvel universe. At the very least all the original MCU Avengers would be screwed. Except for maybe Thor but he gets screwed by magic a fair bit so who knows.
The threat of the Marvel universe was by far more fearsome if and only if you involved yourself with certain things. For example living in New York is probably the dumbest thing you could do if you were a normal everyday human transmigrator. The trade off being that if you decided to just live like an average joe in the Central USA you'd probably guarantee death of old age. Simply enjoy your second life without issue.
Though no matter what a transmigrator would always run into the issue of curiosity. Even he one of the laziest people in existence was seduced by the idea of meeting fictional characters and acquiring supernatural abilities. Far more motivated people would likely have conquered this universe by his age.
