Chapter 75

"Mrs. Malfoy, I don't know you personally but from the interaction we have in this meeting l can say that you have quite a warm heart and you don't deserve someone like Lucius.

"But.."

"I know you are still not ready for something like this but we both know that Voldemort is alive which means there is going to be a war. If you stay with Lucius, Voldemort is going to take advantage of this and try to force you to kill someone dear to you as he doesn't care about anything other than himself."

Narcissa's mind is still in chaos as she is not able to achieve any results. One half of her brain is saying to break the marriage with Lucius as she knows that it is not safe to stay with Lucius for more as Voldemort is rising again and he going to take full advantage of her being close to Sirius Black. And other half of her is thinking about how can she marry him, who is not an adult yet and she probably has to share him with other witches.

She then looked toward him and asked for some more time to think.

"Can I get some more time to think about this?"

"Yes, you can take as much time as you want to think about this. I am not going to force you to give a reply if you want you can give us a reply at a later date when you finally made your decision."

Harry replied as he didn't want to force her to reply as they probably still had more time to save her from her marriage with Lucius.

"No, I will give you a reply today. It's just that I want a few hours to think about it clearly and probably sort everything out."

He then leaves the room so that she can think about everything properly without any interference. Sirius and Andromeda were going to come with him but Narcissa stopped them as she said that she wanted to talk with them about something.

He didn't ponder about this as he think that she probably doesn't want to ruin their reunion which they get after a very long time.

When he left the room he decided to go meet with the Griphook and went to one of his vaults.

He still hasn't visited all of his vaults properly, he just breezes over them when he first gets them and after that, he never visited them to properly see them. The only vault he sees properly is Potter and Black Vault.

For almost two hours he visited some of his vaults which are Vault of Pendragon, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Peverell.

During this period he looks at all the documents he finds about the history of the house and how the wizarding world functioned during that time. The Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw are mostly about Britain's wizarding world as they stayed in Britain only while Peverell is all about exploration.

By reading the documents he finds out that House Peverell likes to explore new countries and learn about something new from them as according to them all the countries think differently when it comes to magic which helps them to develop magic in a new way.

Peverell has the largest library compared to his other vault which happens due to their thirst to learn new magic. The books are not only in English but also in other languages like Latin, Hebrew, Greek, Sanskrit, etc.

He is grateful that he didn't show Peverell's vault to Hermione and Daphne because if he did, both of them are not going to exit the vault until they can read all of them.

He also found many documents related to the Avalon when he was reading the History of the House from the books present there. He also learns about some things related to Excaliber.

One of the documents which are written by the great-great-grandson of King Arthur says that the sword is the gift from Lady Magic to the House of Pendragon but once the evil is dead they decide to return the sword to Lady Magic again, as the people started to fear the power of the sword.

After reading about the history of the house, he started to see all the armor and weapons present in the room.

When he is browsing the things, he is interrupted by Griphook as he is there to inform him that Sirius called him to the private room where he is having the meeting with Mrs. Malfoy.

Harry then leaves the vault but he has leather armor with him and he tells Griphook that he wants to take this armor out with him.

"Griphook, I wanted to withdraw this armor."

"You can take this with you."

Griphook said after taking out the parchment and writing on it about him taking the armor.

The leather armor he takes is very special because it has magic resistance on it and it is also suitable for you to wear inside the robe easily. He took this robe with him for Nymphadora as she could use it properly.

Harry then put the armor in his shrinking trunk and went towards the room where Sirius and others were waiting for him.

When Harry opens the door, all of the people present in the room look at him. He then enters the room and sits where he is sitting previously.

After he sits down, Narcissa speaks to him.

"Heir Potter-Pendragon, I want to ask you some questions that are going to help me find the answer."

"You can ask me anything Mrs. Malfoy and I will try to answer all of them if possible."

"OK, then we start with the first thing I want to ask you. What do you do after I say I want to work professionally?"

Narcissa asks her first question which slightly surprises him, as he is not expecting her to ask something like this.

"Probably support you. As you are free to choose if you want to work or not, I am going to support your decision."

For him, if his girls want to work they feel free to do so as they don't need his permission to do something like this. He didn't say no to Nymphadora when she started to do her job as Auror and he is not planning to do so for all his other betrotheds.

"I don't want to share any intimate movements between us as I am not going to be comfortable with them."

"I said before that you don't have to, I am not going to force you to do anything you don't want to."

And then she asks him the last question or you could say the term, which she wants to ask him.

"I don't want you to tell me who to talk or meet and whom to not. I need the freedom to talk and meet with anyone I want."

"You are allowed to talk and meet with anyone you want and I will not stop you."

After he finished giving her an answer, he saw a small smile on her lips which reverted instantly as if it had never happened. Then Narcissa finally gives them the answer to their proposal.

"I am ready to give you the answer as my mind is finally able to conclude everything."

"Mrs. Malfoy, You can take more time to think about it, as I am not in that much hurry to get the answer."

"I don't want more time to think about this, as I have come to the decision that I am going to accept your proposal to divorce Lucius Malfoy."
