In my previous life, I was imprisoned for breaking the rules but those are the rules that confined me from taking my revenge.

But, even so, it isn't enough to make me give up. I will develop my village even if I have to lie to the entire world or my own village, or my parents.

I will ascend and become a Village Chief with a lie. I will protect my village with a lie. I will develop my village with a lie. But how long can a lie truly last?

People say, kingdom needs to be built on trust but I am building it on lies. If liar is whom I need to become, then I shall gladly lie the entire world.

I Lied To Become Village Chief

"Oh hey, how long have you been here?" While coming down the stairs, Gu Tan spot Zhu Ping sitting on the couch and ask.


"Just a few minutes! And, wow, you look awesome with that suit." Zhu Ping answered while complementing his new outlook. Zhao Xin also nodded her head while looking at him.


"Oh yeah? Although the suit looks great, I can't believe my height only increased by nine inches in the entire four years." Gu Tan smiled at his compliment and started discussing his height. At the moment, he was five feet nine inches which were quite tall for fourteen years old but he was already five feet when he was just ten.


"Well, you did say this already. The only way to remove a child's weakness is by growing his body faster. Body Metamorphosis Technique increased our body by a huge margin within four years but after that, everything went normal."


"Hopefully, I won't grow taller than six feet. I feel terrible with my skinny body." Zhu Ping shrugged his shoulders while answering.
