I will ascend and become a Village Chief with a lie. I will protect my village with a lie. I will develop my village with a lie. But how long can a lie truly last?

People say, kingdom needs to be built on trust but I am building it on lies. If liar is whom I need to become, then I shall gladly lie the entire world.

I Lied To Become Village Chief

Seeing the lady in front of him, Gu Chen didn't know how to respond. He was tired both mentally and physically. He just wanted to rest but he was in the middle of the war. He could bring himself to rest.

"Chen, are you alright? Damn you bastard, why the hell did you try to face off someone who you couldn't even fight?" Suddenly, Lee Che interrupts their reunion as he completely ignores the lady and checks Gu Chen's condition.

He could see the tiredness and fatigue in Gu Chen's eyes. But, seeing that, he wasn't seriously injured, he sighed with relief. He raised his head and turned around. Just when he looked back, his eyes instantly widened.

He couldn't help but grab her shoulders while shouting at her face. His eyes were widened to the point he couldn't believe what he was seeing. Suddenly, a palm covered his face and pushed him away.
