-At Tucker residence-

Ian: "Dad, mom is here."

father: "Okay, you can go now."

It's already 1:30, that took longer than I expected.

-At Naomi's house-

[knocks on the front door]

Ian: "Hello?"

Jack: "I'll get it."

Is that Naomi's brother?

Ian: "Hello?"

[Jack and Ian stare at each other]

Jack: "So you're Ian."

Ian: "I guess so."

Naomi: "Hey, Jack what's taking you so long? Oh. Ian come in."

Ian: "Thank you for having me."

Naomi's brother seem childish at home.

Naomi: "We'll go to my room to play."

Ian: "Umm, Naomi I bought something, I hope you don't mind."

Naomi: "Oh, thank you, we really appreciate it. Mom. You can ask Jack to show you my room."

Ian: "Okay."

-Naomi's room-

Woah, so this is Naomi's room? It looks simple and unique. My room is filled with anime posters and figurines, so.

Jack: "So you are Ian?"

Ian: "Huh?"

Jack: "Beat me on a 1v1 and I let you have my sister."

Let me have your sister? Wait.

Ian: "Is that too far?"

Jack: "I don't mind, she talks about you all the time anyways."

She talks about me all the time? Is that bad or good?

Ian: "I'll just play with no bets."

Jack: "Are you sure?"

Ian: "Yeah, I'm sure."

[Ian and Jack played]

Jack: "Why are you so good?"

Ian: "I don't know. Maybe I'm just naturally good."

Jack: "One more match."

Ian: "Okay"

-The game ended with a score of 13-0 in Ian's favor-

Jack: "Wow, I can't even kill you."

Ian: "It is what it is."

[Naomi opens the door]

Naomi: "What happened?"

Jack: "Big brother Ian defeated me twice."

Big brother? He became more polite after I defeated him.

Naomi: "Is that so? So, are you two ready to eat?"

Ian: "No, I can go home to eat."

Naomi: "Don't be shy. We're still gonna play later right?"

Oh yeah, I came here to play Norant with both of them.

Naomi: "You can come downstairs."

Ian: "Alright, thank you."

-30 minutes earlier on Naomi's perspective-

Naomi: "You can ask Jack to show you my room."

Ian: "Okay"

[Naomi looks at Ian as he walks up the stairs]

Naomi's Mom [NM]: "So, that's the Ian you're talking about."

Naomi: "Mom!"

NM: "Ahaha, help me out here."

Naomi: "What am I gonna do with the cake, Ian bought?"

Mom: "You can leave it at the table."

[Naomi stand beside her Mom]

NM: "So what do you think about Ian?"

Naomi: "Mom!"

NM: "What? I'm just curious."

What I think about Ian? He's popular, smart, good at gaming and has the looks. What should I tell Mom?

Naomi: "Umm, he seems normal to me."

NM: "Are you sure about that? Why do you seem to talk about him often to us?"

Naomi: "I mean he was one of the first few male classmates I have talked to. He doesn't seem like the one I talked to when I was elementary."

NM: "Naomi!"

[Naomi was shocked to her Mom's word]

NM: "Forget about the past. We don't know if you will have another breakdown."

She's right. The past is the past.

[Flashback]

???: "[Voice getting louder]Naomi! Naomi! Naomi!"

Naomi: "Huh?"

???: "Naomi wake up."

Naomi: "Mom?"

NM: "Naomi? Thank God you're okay."

[End of Flashback]

NM: "Naomi? Are you okay?"

Naomi: "Yeah, I'm Good."

NM: "Could you get the milk in the refrigerator?"

Naomi: "Sure"

I daydreamed again. At least it's not that severe anymore. [Voice in head] "Naomi"

[Naomi was relieved when she heard the voice."

Naomi: "Here you go Mom."

NM: "Okay, call Ian and your brother for dinner."

-Present Time on Ian's perspective-

Ian: "I'll ask my mom if I can eat here."

[Ian on the phone]

Ian: 'Mom, can I eat here?'

Mom: 'Sure, but go home before 7pm.'

Ian: 'Okay'

[Ian out of the phone]

Ian: "Okay, I'll spend my Christmas here until 6pm"

Naomi: "Great"

[Naomi and Ian smiled at each other]
