When Kendra finished her breakfast in silence to avoid the wrath of her parents she got up and went for the door. Yazmen soon followed her out, "Are you ok?" He said once he reached her. Kendra turned around to find that her brother was worried about her, she smiled gently, "I don't know… I'm hearing… things." He furrowed his brow, "Like what?" She hesitated, afraid that she might sound insane but then again, he's the very definition of insane. "I feel like my senses are changing?" He crossed his arms and looked around before speaking again, "Changing? Like how?" Kendra thought back to when she woke up, "Like, like for instance after I woke up… I could smell waffles as if they were right in front of me." Yazmen seemed to take all of this in as he rubbed the bridge of his nose, "And what else?"
