The Unknown

Once they were all seated into their satisfaction, our Sous Chef Renee had placed us refreshments for our long journey ahead. Yazmen, being the person he is… he made sure to pick the set with the best space for his supposed "long" legs. Beliath took the spot next to Kendra and Anastasia sat in a seat by herself. Once everyone all ate what was provided, Yazmen decided to put on Rush Hour since Anastasia said she had never watched the movie which was a crime in itself. We were not in thirty minutes of the movie until Yazmen asked, "So where are we going?" So you telling me that you got in the car… ready to leave not knowing exactly where you were going?! "You're kidding right?" Kendra responded. "No… you never really specified where you were going?" Anastasia joining in by saying, "Yeah, you never relly said where now that I think about it." Kendra was flabbergasted by how incredible dumb both of them were… She looked at Beliath only to find him holding his laugh by the way she was looking at him. "Rome," Kendra finally said. "Next time for the sake of humanity… make sure you know where you are going for future references, ok?" "Yes ma'am," Yazmen said, completely dismissing her warning by looking at the flat screen TV. Huffing… Kendra focused her energy on the flat screen until Anastasia said something towards Kendra, "So… how exactly did you and my brother meet?" Belaith looked at Kendra as Kendra looked back at Anastasia, "Um… we met during lunch time," She finally said. Anastasia seemed to be thinking before she said something else, "So who liked who first?"

Kendra gave a wtf look at Beliath as Beliath tried so hard not to combust right thne and there, "I… uh believe it was both of us." "Really? So why did you hate him at first?" She said. "What? I didn't hate him." "That's what he said to me." "He talked to you about that?" "Yeah… we tell each other everything… That is until I found out about what he is. I get the whole thing about keeping it all a secret, but I'm his sister…" She finished as she looked down. Anastasia looked back to their conversations when he was with her… doing thst only made her miss him even more. She still didn't understand what exactly did this man do to William that made him different from Kendra and Beliath. All she knew was that she was going to get her brother back, no matter what. Kendra was staring at Anastasia the entire time… she noticed her mood shifted and said, "Hey… we'll get him back, ok?" Kendra was searching in her eyes, to let her know that she means every word she said. Anastasia nodded slowly and took in a sharp breath before smiling altogether. "Thank you." After 11 hours and 15 minutes of flying in the air… they have finally landed in Rome. Kendra was the first to wake up and soon after Beliath… Yazmen was the last to wake up. Of course Kendra walked over to where he was lying, bent over and shook his shoulder to wake him up, "Yaz… Yaz… wake up." Yazmen shifted to where Kendra was until he opened one eye and said in a groggy voice, "We're here?" Kendra nodded and moved out his way so he could walk through. "Where to first?" Anastasia asked, wide awake. "To Bvlgari's Hotel… where I got shot."

After gathering their luggage, a driver from the hotel picked them up to bring them back to the place that now seems haunting to Kendra. "Grazie" Kendra said to the drover after he unloaded all of their luggage. "La vostra benvenuta signora!" He said as Kendra handed him €50 as a tip. Kendra felt nauseous as she stood in the same spot where William held her… dead. Beliath stepped closer to her and asked, "You with me?" Kendra's mind went to that day and how trapped she felt… it was almost unbearable, to feel "Kendra?" Yazmen's voice brought her back from the past demons and realized she had been staring. "Oh! I'm sorry… This is where it all went down," She said as she looked around as if trying to see any clues that could lead to their destination. Beliath stepped closer to the street of the round about an studied the street. "You said the gunman came in out in a car right?" He asked. Kendra nodded, not sure were he's going witht the information. "That doesn't make sense?" "What doesn't?" Yazmen asked. "Why would an Ethereal use a gun… when they could just use their powers?" "Ethereals don't use guns?" Anastasia asked. Beliath shook his head as he turned towards them, "Think about it… An Ethereal wouldn't waste a second thinking about killing their enemy with a gun, let alone a Rogue." Yazmen gathered his burning thoughts. So many questions were running through his head... is he suggesting what I'm thinking? To make sure he asked, "So what are you saying?" "I'm saying there was no way that could even occur… To put it simply… it wasn't a Rogue that almost killed Kendra." With this new information being revealed, her eyes went wide at the possibilities, "Do you realize what you're saying?! What this could potentially mean?! I won't believe it." Beliath continues, "Ethereals or Rogues using a gun is what we say bizark… it's beneath us because it was made by a being who is disparage to our kind." Kendra shook her head at this whole thing, Please... "It wasn't a Rogue that killed you Kendra… they were human…"
