Ammy turned her gaze to Max who was still looking at her and gulped.Max smiled sweetly at her before talking.

"I will go prepare.I need to go back to my house so see you some time later,"he said and Ammy nodded.Max moved closer to her and kissed her lightly on the lips and went upstairs.Ammy blushed and turned looking at Maya and Milady with saucer eyes while pressing her lips together,making her dimples pop in with pride.

Milady returned the gaze with a warm smile and walked to her friend.

"You don't need to be shy miss sister in law...,"she started.

"Um..am sorry you had to see that...your brother can be so shameless sometimes,"Ammy spoke and turned for upstairs while rolling her eyes.

"I guess I love that kind of my brother's shamelessness,"Maya declared giggling.

"Same here..,"Milady joined her friend and they smiled widely at Ammy whose face was pink due to embarrassment and blushing.

"Look how all pink she all is...I think she also loves that shamelessness brother can posses,"Milady teased her friend further and the laughed happily at her.

"You girls should stop that already!"Ammy complained while still blushing.

"Why should we?"Maya asked while still laughing at Ammy's reactions.

"Because it's not funny,"she continued her complain.

"But you are all pink with blushes,"Milady teased her even more.Ammy ran upstairs to her and left her friend laughing heartily.She was blushing even harder and she didn't want them to tease her even more.She got into her room and closed the door behind her.She leaned on it and smiled widely.

"I think she is very much in love with Max,"Maya told her cousin.

"Ofcourse she is and I think my brother loves her so much as well,"Milady answered while smiling at her as they got into Milady's room.

"Wait Milady...you mean we will share your room?"Maya asked as they walked inside.

"If you want that then it's fine but I brought your things here because your room is yet to be cleaned up,"Milady answered.

"Well any can fit dear sister,"

"Okay then,let Richard fix a room for you but still Maya, you haven't told us what made you want to move in with us and parmanently at matter."

"I haven't told you because it not that easy to say it but you will know sooner or later."

"And did aunt and uncle agree to this?"

"Actually mum knows nothing about this but dad knows and he agreed."

"That's fine Maya and whenever you want to talk, I will always be here to listen to you."

"Thank you so much Milady,"Maya thanked her cousin while taking her in for an embrace.Ammy was still leaning against the door when her phone buzzed.She rushed to her bedside and picked it up.It was a video call from Sherry.

"Sherry,"she began as soon as she received the phone not able to mask her. face that was glowing with joy.

"Ammy,"Sherry shouted,"I really have missed you already."

"Same here.How are you girls doing?"

"We are all perfectly fine but the two aren't home now..... anyways why don't you ever call?"

"Am so sorry...you know the engagement thing is just taking most of my time and I can hardly have time for my phone...am sorry though,"

"It's fine...so how are you?"

"Veeery fine and guess what Sherry.."Sherry narrowed her eyes at her friend's words and began making guesses which turned to be all wrong.

"He bought you a car or you will be traveling to another country again?"she kept on guessing.

"All wrong,"Ammy responded happily.

"Then tell me what's up?"Sherry finally gave up trying.

"He kissed me..."she bursted trying to contain her joy.Sherry's eyes widened with surprise.

"You mean that handsome cold fella kissed you?....like really kissed you?"she asked bubbling with joy too.

"Yes he did and this is the fourth time he did that,"Ammy confessed happily but the smile on Sherry's face faded.

"What's wrong?.... aren't you happy for me?"Ammy asked confused.

"Ofcourse I am but the forth time and you are telling me just now?"Sherry asked looking angry by what her friend did.Ammy smiled sweetly at her angry friend.

"Okay am sorry for not telling you that before.Its just that I wasn't sure why he was doing that you know....maybe it is all because of the contract,"she confessed calmly sadness taking over the sweet smile she was wearing.

"Contract or no contract, he still kissed you lovie and not once.That means he is beginning to fall for you or he has already fallen for you,"Sherry declared happily.

"I don't think so Sherry.Maybe it means nothing to him."

"Okay but let me ask you then... does it mean anything to you?"she asked and Ammy was quiet for a while.

"Ofcourse it does...it means more than alot to me lovie.And whenever I look into his eyes and when he is close to me,my body reacts in a different way and my heart beats very fast...I just don't get it,"Ammy confessed before letting out a loud sigh.Sherry smiled at her friend and clapped her hands happily.

"What's that for?"Ammy asked her friend who was bubbling with joy.

"Well congratulations lovie...you are finally in love,"she answered and Ammy looked at her questioningly.

"You better not look at me as though you want to tear my face up,"Sherry teased her friend.

"You think I am in love with him?"she asked again unbelievably.She had never been in love before.Even when she thought she loved Marcus,it was nothing like this.So was she really in love with him?

"I don't think lovie...am sure you do but I think he might be in love with you as well,"she answered looking at her friend calmly.Ammy sighed again frustratedly because she was now in love with him.

'What will happen now that I love him?...and what if he doesn't feel anything for me?'Ammy questioned herself..She parted her lips so that she could ask her friend those questions but she spoke instead.

"Talk later lovie....I have incoming call...I love you,"she spoke and hanged up before she could even answer.Ammy dropped the phone on the bed and sat on the bed thinking if what Sherry said was true.Never in her life and she had such feelings because of being close to any man so she wasn't sure if it was true.

"How could I fall for him then if that's true...it's just a contract marriage and nothing more,"she scolded herself while laying on the bed.Just then, there was a knock on the door.Ammy rushed to the door and opened it hoping to see Max there but Camilla was there instead.She was disappointed but she covered that up with the sweetest smile she could master at that time.

"Mother,come in,"she said while moving from the door.

"Thank you dear,"Camilla responded while walking inside.They sat on the couch infront if the bed.Camilla took Ammy's hand in hers and looked up into her eyes while smiling at her.

"Ammy,you are such a blessing,"she started and Ammy looked at her mother in law to be with creased brows.Camilla knew her confusion and decided to speak out her heart.

"It has been very long since Max smiled to anyone and today, he spoke to us while having breakfast.Thats something he has not done for a very long time now you know,"she continued.

"But mother,how does that make me a blessing?"

"Honey,every daughter is a blessing to a family and so are you.You have made my son a new person now,you are the reason for that change,"she explained further and Ammy was lost for words and thoughts.She just parted her lips but nothing came out.She wanted to say something but she remained quiet.Camilla looked at her and smiled again.

"Thank you so much for that and for being part of his life..."she continued and Ammy smiled at her though still confused.

"Mother,I don't think that's necessary because seeing Max that happy makes me a happy person too,"she answered and Camilla smiled at her warmly and she pulled her in for an embrace.Ammy embraced her back but she was shocked. by her own words.

'OMG..where did that come from?'she questioned herself.

"By the way,Max refused the idea of you going out so designers will be coming here instead to prepare for your engagement.I will get going now dear,"Camilla spoke and Ammy nodded while smiling back still perplexed by what she had said.Camilla stroke her hair Lovingly before walking out.As soon as the door closed,she sighed loudly.

"What did what I said mean?"she asked while holding her chest with her right hand.
