Chapter 103

It was already night fall.There was loud rambling of thunder and some lighting.

At the Evan's mansion, Renna sat on a chair near the window, hugging her feet protectively as she watched the heavy drops of rain fall on the hard earth.

Yes,the hard earth.... because it hard been too hard for and she felt that it was squeezing her death.She was trying to get herself composed but it was not working.Her life would never be the same but she also had no strength to pick the pieces left and start afresh or maybe she had the strength but the pieces were too small to be collected.

She wondered why and how she would throw away her family and the love her husband showed her just because of another MARRIED man.She wanted it all back now.She saw its value now that it was too late and all she could do is wish for the better.

She wondered how her baby was doing.

Was she missing her?...was she asking for her?

Hot tears streamed down her eyes as she thought of her baby.She really missed her.She had always been away from her but now,just a week without her and she felt like she had lost all her will and energy.Maybe it hurt because the reason for them not being today was different and knowing that they might not be together again.

Edward had made sure that she didn't reach her.She was forbidden from talking to her daughter.

She let the tears flow freely and sobbed silently in crying had become part of her for the past week.

In another room,just adjacent to Renna's room,Rayan was pacing in his bedroom his phone in his hand, hitting it lightly and impatiently against his cold palm.A week had lapsed now but Edward had not been replying Renna's texts nor pick her calls.He was worried for her sister and Princess too, Renna's daughter.

He had expected him to atleast call him...they were friends before the marriage so he should atleast have called as a friend and tell him what had transpired between him and his sister but he didn't.His father, Mr Evans had also not called....that meant he didn't know what was happening yet.That was just possible.

'If that's the case then I need to do something and fast before dad knows any of this,'he told himself as he was still pacing up and down.

"I told that stupid sister of mine to let go because this wouldn't have ended well in anyway but she is too stubborn to listen to anyone and now am left with the mess of hers to clean up,"he hissed angrily.He checked his phone again as though he had been waiting for something and almost threw his phone against the wall when he didn't see what he expected but stopped mid air when his nanny walked in.

"Are you alright child?"the old lady asked in concern when her eyes landed on his arm in the air.

Rayan dropped his arm to his side and tossed the phone on the bed and turned towards the door where she was standing.

"Yes grandma.Am fine,"he responded calmly.Grandma Mary had been his nanny since he was a young baby.She had watched him grow to a toddler....into a teen and now into a fully grown man.

When their mother died,years ago before he was hardly a teenage boy,she was there for him and took good care of him.Just by the looks,grandma Mary could tell that something had been bothering him for the past few days but he kept on insisting that he was fine when it definite that he wasn't.She had decided to give him space and deal with his issues himself despite the amount of worry she had for him. He was no longer that young Rayan she knew but he had grown into a full responsible man.

"Sir Lewis is here to see you,child,"she informed him.Just the person he was thinking of going to since he couldn't reach him through his phone.

"Send him in grandma,"he answered and grandma Mary left his room.Rayan stood at the same spot and waited for Lewis to get in.When he kept on checking his phone,he was checking for Lewis's response to his messages.

He had called him but didn't pick his call and when he texted,he got no response.

He wanted him to advice him on what to do.Ofcourse sometimes his advice was unreliable and silly but he would give good advice sometimes too.

The door creaked open and Lewis stepped in.

"What's the need of you having a phone if you are always not available?"Rayan thundered angrily at Lewis.

"Whoa! Whoa!... cool it down Mr.Its my phone remember so I decide when to be on and when to be off,"he responded.

They were all a match... arrogant and very free with their words.

"Oh really!...I never knew that Lewis but can you for once be on if I need you?"he yelled at him angrily.

Lewis widened his eyes in surprise when he had what he said.

"You need me?..."he asked with a cheeky smile on.

Rayan just realized them what he had really said and pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed roughly.

"I didn't mean to say that,"he responded curtly.Lewis shrugged his shoulders and walked to him.

"Fine then.Let me tell you why am here then I will leave,"he answered then continued."We will be having a swimming competition next month and your girl will be there.It will be a good chance to meet her."

Rayan's yes shone with gladness.After Ammy took Andy with her that evening,he had not seen her and the news of seeing her made his heart skip in joy but he remembered what he wanted to tell him.

"Good news but I really have an issue to take care of,"Rayan responded clearing his throat nervously.

"What could be more important than seeing Andy?"Lewis asked smiling in disbelief.

Rayan explained what had transpired between Renna, Maxwell and Edward.

"Renna was very close to Maxwell and she should have known that playing such games with him was a very bad idea,"Lewis spoke when Rayan was done explaining.

"Trust me that's not helping Lewis,"Rayan snapped.

"I know but we will come up with a plan for now let's think... Andy,"Lewis announced with a triumphant smile on.

"That's really hard for me Lewis.My sister is depressed.She doesn't even eat well and I fear for her,"Rayan made known his fear to his friend.

"Fear for her?....she is a grown arse lady and she brought this upon herself so let her be,"Lewis snapped.

"It's my sister we are talking about and you know how much I love my sister...and if not for her then I have to do something for my niece.She is too young and shouldn't be separated from her mother now,"Rayan yelled at him I'm anger.He just fel that there was no way he would understand.

"It's fine.Calm down and we will come up with a good plan to help the situation,"Lewis spoke.Rayan glared at him then averted his gaze from Lewis's face.

Giving it a thought now,he saw that Lewis was making sense.He really loved Andy and he was determined in getting her and keeping her on his side.

"When is the game?"Rayan finally asked.

"Next month....I already said that, didn't I?"Lewis retorted his response.

Rayan just stared at him but didn't respond to him.

Meanwhile at the Storm Mansion.

"It's really been a while since Ammy came over,"Milady spoke.They were sitted at the Maya's room watching while having ice cream.

"She is married now but am sure she won't take it for long.She will definitely come and if she doesn't then we will go instead,"Maya responded,her eyes fixed on the screen before them.

She had been staying there for long now and so it was just as though she was at her father's house.

"Pretty idea,"Milady answered shortly.

A deep silence embraced them for a while until Maya spoke again.

"So how is it going with your new boyfriend,Lucas?"she asked looking at Milady.

"Good but I don't feel like it's going to work between us,"Milady responded honestly.

"Why not?"

"Because,I still love Rayan and I want him back in my life,"Milady confessed.

"But he saw you kissing Lucas at the hotel and you really wanted him to see you do it,"Maya reminded her Incase he had forgotten.

"That was just to get back at him,"Milady answered her.

"By kissing and screwing with another man?...I don't think Rayan will get back with you.You already know him than anyone else,"Maya responded.

"I will tell him that I was just trying to get back at him and make things even between us,"Milady responded boldly but she was abit shaken inside.

"Alright,all the very best sweery,"Maya answered in a sarcastic tone.

Milady glanced at her cousin who was much of a sister and not just a cousin.

She knew what she did was an extra mile from her side.Rayan had left for Spark City six years ago but she wasn't sure if he had moved on and loved someone else.

She had taken a huge step that she regretted.She had to meet with Rayan.

Sh had to call him.on a date and explain things to him but how would she do!?
