Chapter Eighteen

With flames, ice, and blood, scattered everywhere, followed by dust and smoke carrying into the air, Aaron was surprised when no one came to intestate. He'd figured it was because the alleyway, was so closed off from the actual world, no one bothered with what went on there. But with the flames now out, and gone, Aaron was sure he'd need to replace them, with fresh new ones. That was what the person deservered. To be set on fire, even knowing the fact that he was immortal. Aaron wasn't sure he cared. Paying a lesson, and hoping the man died, now that was what he was sure of. Torture and murder was a criminal offense back home, but Aaron knew, he wasn't going home. Not without his powers, but on Earth, anything was possible. Right now, none of that fucking mattered! More important things to attend too.

As he took in hs beautiful art piece, he took in the appearance of the love, with the peaceful brown eyes, and smiled. He could tell he didn't want him to hurt him, but Aaron wasn't sure why. The bastard had lied to him, for weeks. It was the right time. It was true, true, to the fact, that hybrids are assholes. If only he'd gotten the chance to kill the princess as well. How awesome he'd feel afterwards. The bastards deserved it anyways...

He approached the man without a extra thought, and right then and there, stabbed a whole piece of ice, straight down into his chest. Missing the heart, and any organs near by, sticking to the rib cage, as means to keeping him alive. The man cried out in pain, as Aaron stared for a long couple seconds, as the pulsing blood, that streamed down from the man's hands. Watching the two pieces of sharpened ice, sticking out from both hands, keeping him restrained, Aaron felt the pulsing emotion of sadness, and betrayal hit him almost immediately.

The last person he'd expect to betrayal him.

''Aaron.....please....'' Begged the man..

''You lied to me! This is what you get! You told me he was here! You even offered me your help, as far as I'm concerned you did to yourself! You probably had something to do with why I lost my powers? Right!'' He screamed. ''TELL ME!''

''I did...but it wasn't until I found the truth.....'' He softly whispered, blood rolling down the sides of his mouth, as one of his rib's were clearly shattered, resulting in blood escaping.

''Found the truth about what! That I mean't something to you! That you might've thought I'd forget about him, if you took him from me?! That I'd fall in love with you, if we spent some time together!?'' Aaron guessed....

''Exactly....'' Edward whispered...

''Bastard! Bastard! Bastard! Why would you do this! Why! How could you betray me! How!''

'''I didn't want to! Stealing your powers was something I was going to do from the very beginning, its the only way I could intrust protection to Nation Valley! I had to become a hybrid! I had to! As a prince, a royal family member, it was my duty! Alice had done it already! She was given the powers of a little girl. She was a cold one.....although we didn't know the air was different on our planet. And what was truly going to happen to humans.....this was our way of knowing...we didn't mean to, the last thing we wanted to do, was cause the death of one of our own!''

''So let me guess? To hide the truth, you told everyone she was targeted by vampires, and dragged into the forest, where she was then fed upon, till she died, right? Cause she wasn't exactly dead, before you brought her into the forest? Was she?'' Aaron shouted.

''She wasn't...the poor thing was fighting for oxygen when she was thrown into the forest....I was then told, she was taken care of by the vampires...trust me.....I never intended to be involved.....''

''But you were involved! You might not have killed her by yourself, but you kept the secret! Even knowing that it was your own sister, you kept her secret! The crime, that little girl, who had to die, because of power, because you two wanted to be hybrids so badly, you'd risk killing innocents!''

''You were going to be different! I knew I had to get you to come to Earth, I cared about you, Aaron! I wouldn't have been able to live with myself, if you died the same way as that girl! So, when I heard my dad had banished Alec to Earth, I got here before he did, and was here to greet him. He thought I was just some guy, because of the false memories, but I gave him back his memories, and kept him somewhere. I hid him on an empty planet called, Mars. He was there for the same amount of time we were here. I knew I had to do something, when you figured out he wasn't here. So, I took your powers, and transferred them to myself. I did it while you were unconscious from your time at that club. It worked out perfectly, cause I knew you didn't have to die...You could live! Don't you see? I tried to save your life!''

''No! No you didn't! Don't justify this, as saving my life, Edward! Your a spinless bastard, and there's nothing you can say to fix any of this! With my powers gone, you knew I would've be able to go home, so when the portal opened up, and I couldn't go through it, you were only pretending, weren't you? Pretending, by telling me I was going to be okay, but when you saw me struggling for air, you pushed me back. You knew why, cause my powers were gone....and mortals couldn't survive on our planet.....that's why! And that's why I didn't see you again, till this point! What happened? Did you think it was safe to bring Alec back home, because I wasn't there anymore?! Did you really think he wouldn't come to get me?'' Aaron's eyes met Alec's, a soft smile appearing on his face, as he took in all the cuts and dried blood staining his pale face.

''Your one hell of a bastard, Edward.....'' Aaron whispered.

''It wasn't meant to be like this....'' Edward whispered.. ''I swear...''

''Aaron?'' Aaron turned to face Alec again, but as his heart shattered into a million pieces, as he felt exploding pain waving through his body. His mind cleared, and melted, as he screamed. Collapsing to his knees, as blood exploded, filling the air, as it dried against the payment. Aaron felt his entire body began to shake, the shiver, as bits and pieces of the cloak, torn apart, landed to the payment in front of him.

As he gasped for breathe, and for the words that just wouldn't escape his mouth, he fell to his stomach, in agony. A pool of blood covered the payment almost instantly, painting it a whole new shade of crimson, as he finally closed his mouth. Turning to look up at the person responsible, he fought the urge to get sick. Sick from the sight of his own body....

''Aaron no!'' The soft screams of Edward were instantly drowned out from the blurry fog, that almost consumed him. However, before it could completely imprison him, burned into his mind, was the acting sight. The acting sight of the deadly master....

The deadly secret he'd never been told, until know. Reaching his damage spirt out to Alec. Red crimson eyes, followed by the sickening scent of blood, as it stained Alec's entire face, Aaron could see, two tiny fangs...

His loved one.....

His trusted one....

His best friend.....

Had been lying to him for so many years...

Alec Kamari had been hiding his deadly secret from him for so many years, Aaron felt internally shattered. As a pool of blood mean't his life was fading, he acted quickly.....with the last bit of life he had gathered, he twisted his arm towards him, repeating the same movement Nia had done to him, minuets ago, and began poking and digging his nails into every part of his body. Emptiness was the only thing he could feel, until suddenly, the stream of light red lighting lit up the entire alley, shooting across towards Edward...then at Alec.....

As Aaron felt his heartbeat finally stop, and the pool of blood filled up no more. The memories of his past, flooded his mind instantly. The fact that his boyfriend was secretly a vampire the entire time.....however, haunted him the most, in his last, and finale moments...

However there was still time to shine, in the afterlife.

As an empty Earthbound.....
