Chapter 268 The Fourteenth Target part 6

"Well, I won't deliberately avoid you."

Eri responded in a low voice, her cheeks slightly hot, but her heart was sweet.

Letting go of Eri Kisaki's hand, Aizen said: "Are you really going to treat me to dinner this afternoon? If you really want to treat me to dinner, cook it for me yourself. I don't want to eat food from a hotel outside."

Eri Kisaki hesitated and said: "The food I cook may not suit your taste."

Aizen said solemnly: "As long as it is cooked by you, I like it."

"Okay, then I will cook it myself in the afternoon."

Eri Kisaki laughed immediately after hearing this. No matter which woman can resist the sweet words of her beloved man.

It is still morning, Eri Kisaki still has work to do, and Aizen has nothing to do, so he just waits in the office, waiting for the arrival of the afternoon.

After Conan and Ran returned to the office, Conan still had something to do, so he said he was going to Dr. Agasa, but he actually went back to his own home.

When Conan returned home, he met his mother Yukiko in the living room. Yukiko was obviously dressed up, holding a bag in her hand, and looked like she was going out to meet someone else.

 "Mom, where are you going?"

Conan asked somewhat unhappily, as he thought his mother was going to see Jimmy.

"Conan-chan, come here, let me hug you!"

Yukiko cheered, ran to Conan, hugged Conan in her arms, and rubbed his hair.

Conan struggled and said, "I say, you don't want to see Jimmy again, do you? Mom, you promised me that you would stay for a few days and then go back to Los Angeles, and now it's been so many days."

"Shinichi, don't you really want to see me?"

Yukiko let go of Conan upon hearing that, sobbing as she looked at Conan, tears streaming down her face.

Conan said unhappily, "Mom, don't think I don't know you're acting. I won't compromise on this matter. You've stayed in Japan long enough, it's time to go back."

Seeing that her son was not fooled, Yukiko had to give up, wiped her tears and said, "Shinichi, don't worry, I'll go back to Los Angeles tomorrow, I've already bought the plane ticket."

 "Really?"

Conan was refreshed. If that was the case, that would be great.

"Really, I'm not lying to you!"

Yukiko touched Conan's head, stood up and said, "His injuries are almost healed, so there's no need for me to stay. Shinichi, your mother is a bad woman, right?" As she spoke, she looked gloomy and lowered her head.

Conan saw it clearly and felt bad. Although he had some complaints about his mother, he did not mean to blame her. Hearing this, he hurriedly said, "Mom, it's not your fault. If you want to blame someone, blame that guy Jimmy. It's that guy's fault."

Conan had reason to blame Jimmy. If it weren't for this person, his mother would not have changed her mind at all, and he would not feel so bad.

"Thank you for your understanding, Shinichi, you are really a good son of your mother!"

Yukiko squatted down and gently touched Conan's head, then stood up and said proudly, "Shinichi, I knew you wouldn't blame me. I guessed right."

 "Really!"

Conan was speechless when he saw this, but when he saw her look, he was secretly relieved. He didn't want his mother to live in self-pity every day. That was not the lively and cheerful mother he knew.

 "Okay, Shinichi, I'm going out."

Yukiko waved her hand and walked out the door.

"Wait, I want to go too."

Conan trotted to catch up. This time he also wanted to see Jimmy. In fact, he was mainly afraid that his mother would be taken advantage of.

Yukiko leaned over to Conan and said, "Shinichi, I'm not going to see him, so you don't have to follow me."

 "Really?"

 Conan asked suspiciously.

"Of course it's true. You dare not believe your mother, you really deserve to be beaten."

Yukiko pinched Conan's cheek and said, "I'm going to see Ran's mother, Eri. We haven't seen each other for a long time. The last time we met, we parted in a hurry, so this time I plan to meet her before returning to Los Angeles."

Conan heard it and said, "Ran's mother was poisoned this morning and almost got into trouble. She may be at the law firm now."

Yukiko asked with concern, "Is she okay?"

Conan said, "She's fine. She went to the hospital for a check-up."

"That's good. Mom, I'll leave first."

 Yukiko nodded and walked out.

This time Conan did not say that he would follow, nor did he stop her. After thinking about it, he closed the door and left, but went to the residence of Dr. Agasa next door.

After leaving, Yukiko went directly to the law firm of Eri Kisaki. She really did not lie to Conan. She was indeed going to find Eri Kisaki. The two had not seen each other for a long time, and she planned to meet her before returning to Los Angeles.

Because Yukiko was going to give Eri Kisaki a surprise, she did not contact Eri Kisaki before leaving, but went straight to her door.

"What? You said Eri has gone back?"

When she arrived at the office, Yukiko learned from Midori Kuriyama that Eri Kisaki had gone back, but it was less than eleven o'clock, and it was too early to go home after work.

Kuriyama Midori nodded and said, "Yes, Eri said she had something to do, so she went back first."

Yukiko was depressed and had to ask, "Then do you know where Eri lives?"

Kuriyama Midori did not hesitate and told Yukiko where Eri lived. It was not that she did not understand the importance of keeping secrets, but that she recognized Yukiko and knew that she was a big star more than ten years ago, so she did not think that Yukiko would be a bad person, so she did not hide it..

After learning where Eri lived, Yukiko thanked her and left, and went directly to Eri's residence.

"Hey? Why haven't you come back yet?"

When Yukiko arrived outside Eri's apartment, she knocked on the door several times, but found that there was no response or anyone came out to open the door. Obviously, Eri did not come back.

Eri Kisaki hasn't come back yet. It's already now, so Yukiko can't contact Eri Kisaki. She has to give up and go to the corridor to the side and wait there.

After waiting for a few minutes, Yukiko looked at her watch and said to herself depressedly: "When did Eri become so slow? It's been more than half an hour and she hasn't come back yet. Is she going out to have lunch?"

Thinking of this, Yukiko wanted to take out her phone and call her, but she thought that she wanted to give the other party a surprise if she called now, wouldn't all her previous efforts be in vain?

"I'll wait for ten more minutes, just ten minutes!"

Yukiko made a decision quickly. She couldn't just wait forever. She decided to wait for ten minutes. If Eri Kisaki didn't come back after ten minutes, she would take the initiative to contact the other party.

 Ding!

Five minutes later, the ding-dong sound of the elevator arrived rang out. Yukiko looked out and saw a man and a woman walking out of the elevator, talking and laughing, and the man was holding a shopping bag full of vegetables.

"So you went to buy groceries!"

Yukiko finally understood the reason, and immediately went out and greeted, "Eri!"

 "Yukiko, why are you here?"

Upon hearing the voice, Eri Kisaki turned around, looked at Yukiko who was walking over, and then looked at Aizen beside her, and couldn't help feeling a little guilty. She had just told him a few days ago that she didn't like Aizen, but today she brought Aizen back to her residence, and even bought some groceries, obviously intending to cook and eat together, which made her feel guilty in front of Yukiko.

 "Hello again, Miss Yukiko."

Aizen greeted with a smile. He knew that Yukiko was going back to Los Angeles tomorrow, and Yukiko had told him about this. Without forcing Yukiko, he chose to let Yukiko go back. He has his own plan. If Yukiko's favorability drops after she returns, he will take action immediately or If Yukiko doesn't come back to Japan for a long time, he will also take action. Anyway, he will not let the current good situation be ruined.

 "Hello, Mr. Aizen!"

Yukiko greeted Aizen, and then said to Eri Kisaki: "Eri, I'm here to have a meal. You won't be unwelcome, right?"

"Of course not. How could I not welcome you?"

Eri Kisaki smiled and said, but in her heart she was thinking that she would have a good talk with Aizen later. She must not show any abnormality in front of Yukiko, and must not let Yukiko see that there is an abnormal relationship between the two.

The three entered Eri Kisaki's apartment. Eri Kisaki asked Yukiko to sit on the sofa and wait for a while, then she called Aizen to put the ingredients in the kitchen, and she went to the kitchen to pour water for Yukiko to drink.

Entering the kitchen, Eri Kisaki immediately whispered to Aizen not to show any abnormality, and must not let Yukiko see any problems. Aizen nodded and agreed, letting her rest assured.

Aizen didn't know what would happen if Yukiko saw the problem, but the current situation was in his favor, so if possible, he didn't want to change the situation, so he was happy to cooperate with Eri Kisaki.

Aizen didn't stay in the kitchen for long. After putting the ingredients in the kitchen, he walked out.
