Nigel whirled around with a stunned look at Geri.  His lips parted slightly, and he blinked.  "Oh dear."  This couldn't have been more awkward.


Laurence and da Vinci both wore confused expressions. "What. Who is Nash?" Laurence asked quietly of Nigel.


Nigel began to answer.  "Agent Nash and Captain de Sade-..."


"Worked together."  Geri's interruption was firm, and he gave Nigel a pointed look.  "For most of her time at Naviwerks as Captain." Geri stared Nigel in the eyes as he made a silent point.  Some things were not theirs to tell.  "And it looks like he just tried to kill her."
