Back in the medical bay of The William's Hunt Dr. Hennessey had finished stitching up Captain Alex's plasma shot wounds. He had her resting comfortably on the multi-purposed exam table where he insisted that she remain so he could keep an eye on her vitals. She was doped up just enough to make her compliant with that request, but not so much that she wasn't cranky about the whole thing. She kept giving the Doctor annoyed looks which he ignored easily through long experience with irritable patients, Captain Alex included.


"Glare all you want, my dear," Dr. Hennessey said as he put a tray of instruments into the autoclave, then began setting the dials for the sterilization run. "Here you will stay until I am certain you aren't going to tear open those stitches through some foolishness or another."
