Laurence Kane, rejected by Naviwerks, sacked from every job he's ever tried to hold, and a mere middle of the road graduate at university.  Yet he has somehow become the desired Horotech for Captain Alex.

Captain Alex looked over to Dr. Hennessey without a nod or any other indication of her opinion thus far, but the Doctor held his hands up and shook his head. "Don't look at me. I have a mind for medicine not tactics." He grumbled out some nonsense when Alex gave him a flat look of disbelief. "I might have something to knock a man senseless if you're close enough to deliver a hypo-spray. Might." Dr. Hennessey shook a finger at Geri. "I'm trusting you lot to not abuse it."


Geri smirked back at the Doctor. "Think you could rig that into something what could be fired from a rifle, Doc?"


"That's enough." Captain Alex decided to shut that bickering down in the birthing. She knew full well they could go round and round about something like that, Geri and Dr. Hennessey. Her Security Officer might have come across as simply baiting the Doctor, but Alex knew he would love ammunition such as he described, and Dr. Hennessey would be adamantly against it.
