Handsome

Will I get fired? Is that why Sharon is coming toward me? She looks like she will start cackling like an old witch that is coming to deliver my curse to me.

I held my breath, bracing myself for her to tell me that I was fired.

Can they fire me on my first day? I have Andras I bet he will just give me another job. But I would never be able to face myself or Andras again after humiliating him like this. I guess I will go and beg Liza not to remove me from this job.

"What is it?" Yama asked Sharon when she just stood there gloating in my misery.

"Nothing, I was just taking a look at her before prince Asher would do something to her. I heard he had turned a man into dust when he insulted Prince Asher." She looks like she would like for me to also turn into dust. does she really hate me so much that she wants to see me turn into dust?

I remember his words when he said to Nyx "do you know what happened to the last person who talked to me like that?" I guess that is what happened. How did he do that? He certainly has the power and authority to do that. I bet no one will bat an eye if he decides to go with it.

Now I have to worry about it on top of having to worry about being fired.

"Don't worry if I die here today you will be the first person I will haunt." I said, surprising myself. I guess before dying I don't want to take anyone's shit.

"Does anyone know where is Liza?"

I went to find her, there were several people gathered outside the new office for prince Asher. They were trying to take a peek at the masterpiece that is sitting inside. They were more afraid of him than they were attracted to him. I guess turning a person to dust has that effect on people.

I asked a girl to tell me where Liza's office is. She pointed at the left side. She was looking at me with wide eyes. Guess everyone already knows what happened.

I went inside, but she was not inside. She must be with Asher, but she will return anyway so decided to wait for her.

Her office was big bigger than I thought it would be. But it is still smaller than the new office. There were several floor-to-ceiling shelves lined leaving space to walk between each shelf, making it look like a small library.

Her whole office was a mess. There were papers everywhere. while her desk was covered in files. It looks like someone let an animal loose on her desk. She must have been in a hurry to find something.

Looking at the condition of her office, I got an idea. I should put this back in its original form. It will impress her so much that she will not fire me on my first day.

I examined the shelves before starting, all the files are supposed to be in alphabetical order.

I gathered all the files that were on the desk and raised them in the air so that I could have a better look. Then with a flick of my wrist, I sent the files in their place. I was in the middle of the 4th and 5th shelves, almost done with only 5 files in my hands when I heard voices outside the office.

Some of them are familiar while some are new. The most familiar voice was Leo's. Where was he all this time?

"What is he doing here?" Leo asked. I think he meant Asher.

"How would I know." Liza answered, she sounded exhausted, she had been working nonstop with all the stress she must have been spent.

"Who else would know? You were the only one who was here today." an unfamiliar voice asked.

"All I know is that I suddenly got a call today that he will be joining the special auxiliary department today.

I didn't even know if it was fake or real. I was fortunate that there were new interns that joined today. They were able to build him a new office in under an hour." Liza said.

I realized that they are having a secret conversation about Asher. And I was eavesdropping on their conversation without intending to.

I moved from behind the shelves deciding to announce my presence when a figure blocked my way. I lifted my head and found Felix with a smirk on his face, he stood there staring at me. I tried to go around him but he just blocked my every move, making me angry at him.

"What do you want?" I asked him in a hushed voice.

"A thank you for starters. For saving you." he said, smirking. Ah, these handsome boys and their handsome smirks. When I try to be angry there comes the smirk that makes me want to stare at it.

But then I can't because I am angry. I will not stare at his handsome face. I will not stare at his pink lips nor will I look at those piercing eyes that look like there is nothing in the world more entertaining than me.

I mentally remembered what he had done with the cupcake to fuel my anger. It worked.

"I am not a damsel waiting for you to save me. I could have managed it myself."

"Are you sure?" he asked leaning against one of the shelves. He looks incredibly handsome; I should go out more. Then I would not be so distracted by these handsome specimens.

"Prince Asher asked me to bring him all the files we have on the phantom." through the haze of the attractive-looking men that is filled in my brain, Liza's voice penetrated like a bullet when I heard her mention phantom and Asher in the same sentence
