Quirk Assesment

"Next, Izuku Midoriya" Aizawa said and Deku stood on the field with the ball in hand.

He threw the ball but the ball landed just a couple of steps away from him. Everyone looked at Deku and then they noticed that the bandages on Aizawa's neck were floating.

"Every time you use your quirk you break your bones. You can't become a hero like that" Aizawa said. Then Deku used his quirk again and threw the ball. But this time only his finger was broken. The device in Aizawa's hand showed 705.2 meters which was more than Bakugo. Everyone could hear Bakugo grinding his teeth in anger but everyone ignored it.

"I can still use my arm" the wimp said with water in his eyes to which Aizawa smiled.

David could sense Toshinori (ALL Might) hiding behind a tree. " Good one young Midoriya" Toshinori thought.

"Next, David Carter"

Everyone's eyes moved to David including Todoroki who saw David as a rival. David came ahead and took the ball in hand. He imbued some aura in his arm created a small air jett behind the ball and threw the ball. The device displayed 1520 meters and everyone's jaw dropped. Even Aizawa widened his eyes.

"What 1520m. How can the difference between him and others be so much?" Kiroshima said.

"Damm, he must have a strength-related quirk " Shoji said.

"It must be air-related. Didn't you see the air whooshing behind his ball" Deku muttered very fast but some heard it.

After the ball throwing test, there was the 50-meter dash race. Currently, the fastest was Tenya Iida with 3.04 seconds. David was matched up with a boy with a tail named Ojiro and the pervert Mineta.

"How do you think he will do in this dash race?" Jiro asked Momo.

"I don't know as I have never seen him use his quirks. All I know is that his main quirk is some kind of fire which I heard when my parents were talking" Momo said as Shoto instantly looked at Momo then David. Only those near to her like Todoroki, Mina, and Jiro heard it.

'Fire...Just like that man. David, I will defeat you at all costs. His fire won't stand a chance in front of my fire' Shoto was thinking.

David imbued aura in his leg and had a small jet of air under his shoes to get a speed boost. For everyone, he just looked like a blur and he was already at the finish line. The device showed 1.28 seconds which was less than half the time of what Iida took.

'It's good that I didn't try to pump some extra blood in my legs. It would have been overkill. But I still want to try if I can control adrenaline production manually ' David was thinking while everyone around him was just gawking. Midoriya was busy writing something in his diary.

'I am supposed to be the fastest. That's my quirk but I couldn't even see him' Iida thought.

'What a showoff all he has is speed. I'll crush this extra in no time' Bakugo thought.

After a while, the test was over and everyone was waiting for their results.

Aizawa stood in front of everyone and said "The results are.....

1st place. David Carter

2nd place. Momo Yaoyorozu

3rd place. Shoto Todoroki

4th place. Katsuki Bakugo

21st place. Izuku Midoriya"

After hearing this many had different faces but suddenly everyone remembered that the last place will be expelled so they turned to Deku only to see his eyes filled with tears about to break.

"No one is going to be expelled. I just said it so that all of you give your best performance" Aizawa said.

"What?? How c-could he lie to us like that?"

"Such a lie to make us give our best? Damm I was scared "

"Did you guys really think he would suspend a student on the very first day? I knew he was joking. I thought you guys must have figured it out" Momo said.

" Midoriya you go and have your broken finger healed from Recovery girl's apprentice." Aizawa said.

'Recovery girl's apprentice? Now that's something new' David said.

David decided to check out who this apprentice is after changing in his uniform.

Everyone changed their clothes and started to leave school. Some of the Class 1-A students were standing outside the school gate. Momo, Mina, Jiro, Deku, Kiroshima, Kaminari, Shoji were standing and chatting.

"Wait, guys If you are going by train I'll join you as well." Uraraka shouted while running towards the group.

"Yea lets go together"

"Momo are you going to come with us via train?" Kiroshima asked.

"No, I am waiting for David." Momo said

"Ehh, he changed into his uniform and left before us" Shoji said.

At that time David was walking towards the medical room. He could hear Recovery girl talking to someone. He did not use his aura because he didn't want to alarm anyone. He saw the door open and peeked a little. He saw a girl same as his age listening to Recovery girl. She had blonde hair and big eyes and she was a bit chubby like Uraraka. David immediately backed off as he recognized the girl.

'What the hell... what is Himiko Toga doing here? And she ended up becoming Recovery girl's apprentice? She doesn't even have that creepy smile anymore. Wow, a change so many years ago had such big changes. From a creepy member of League of Villains to working as a healer in hero school. That's a big leap' David thought.

David exited the school gate and saw Momo with others. Momo saw David and waved at him.

"What took you so long? I thought you already left?" Kaminari said.

"I had to visit the Department of support regarding my hero costume." David said.

"Ohh yess do you know when we will receive them?" Kiroshima asked to which David replied "Tommorow" as he knew that the 2v2 battle trial will be done in costumes.

"Thats awsomeeeee" Mina and Uraraka shouted.

"By the way, why are you all here?" David asked looking at his classmates.

"Nothing much just casual stuff. By the way David even you knew right? that Aizawa sensei was just joking about expulsion. Why didn't you tell us, dude?" Kaminari said.

" Because it was never a lie to begin with" David said which a straight face.

"Whaaaat...What do you mean it wasn't a lie?" Momo said while even the others had their eyes widened especially Deku.

"He would've definitely suspended the student who comes last. But Midoriya's quirk has potential and he came last only because his body isn't strong enough to handle the quirk. This means all he needs is time until his body can handle the quirk and not harm itself and that's why he wasn't expelled" David said.

"But that still doesn't answer why you think Aizawa sensei could expel someone?" Momo asked.

"Because he has done this before. Last year he expelled his entire class on the first day" David said as everyone started talking among themselves. David was watching Deku who was looking towards the ground. The only reason David revealed this is because he wanted Deku to know that his quirk is what saved him or else he would have been expelled.

While David was about to leave Momo said "David we live in the same direction. Why don't we travel together?" to which David nodded. He didn't want to be dropped by some one from the dojo and the school timings of his and his brother's were different. So coming with Momo was the best he could get.
