Toying with Todoroki

"What David is saying does make sense. This fight will mostly depend on who wins between Bakugo and Deku. I can't even imagine Iida behaving like a villain" Jiro said playing with her earphones jacks in one hand.

'David's observation was as accurate as an experienced strategist. For a second I thought principal Nezu was talking' ALL Might thought.

'David you have defeated me in two tests until now, but today your opponent will be me. I heard that your main element is fire so today I will make you use it and defeat you with my ice' Todoroki was thinking while sitting in a corner.

"David next battle is ours. Should we think of a good strategy?" Ojiro said standing beside David.

"Yea... I already have one in mind. Come let's pick a corner and discuss" David said to which Ojiro nodded and they both sat in a faraway corner and the others were watching the match.

After a few minutes, the fight between Bakugo and Deku was over and things happened like David had told shocking others. After that, ALL Might asked " Who is the MVP of this match and why?"

"Iida is the MVP because he was focused on his objective to protect the missile. Although Uraraka succeeded in securing the missile, she was very clumsy and was only able to do so because she knew Iida wouldn't use any lethal attacks against her." Momo said

'Damm she said everything. Now I have nothing to say' ALL Might chuckled inwardly.

"You are right Miss Yaoyorozu. And very good David you got the entire fight figured outright to the details of young Midoriya needing Recovery girl and Midoriya and Uraraka winning the match" ALL Might said.

Although he didn't like his successor ending up on a stretcher after every fight, he knew that with time Deku would improve.

"Huh? What does that mean?" Iida asked as he and Uraraka looked towards Momo for an answer. Deku's and Bakugo's interests were perked as well.

After explaining what David had told everyone before the match, Iida and Uraraka were shocked while Deku was embarrassed and Bakugo was fuming with rage.

" Now participants for the next match get ready. Team Todoroki are the villains and Team David are heroes" ALL Might shouted as David and the three others left the room.

"Who do you think will win this?" Kaminari asked.

"Honestly speaking, I don't know. David and Todoroki both have strong offensive quirks. It's hard to tell" Kirishima said.

"I-I think David will win because fire is more aggressive than ice and they have to just touch the bomb as heroes." Deku said.

After 5 minutes Shoji and Todoroki were standing on the 2nd floor with the missile.

"I'll use my organs to find out from where they are coming" Shoji said.

" I will freeze the floors below. You stay here and guard the bomb " Todoroki said and froze the 1st and the ground floor.

Outside the building, David and Ojiro were standing.

"Once u hear the noise of clashes between me and Todoroki you start climbing the building from the outside." David said.

"Got it. I'll take Shoji down" Ojiro said while David walked towards the entrance.

'I can end it myself by just using air control but making him feel that the match partially depends on him will make the spectators think about teamwork and bullshit. As long as it doesn't include kissing someone's ass or tolerating someone too irritating, I don't have a problem with befriending others. Now let's crush the Zuko of MHA world' David thought while he entered the frozen building.

"I can see Ojiro standing outside which means David has entered the building alone" Shoji told Todoroki on the comms as one of his extended eyes spotted Ojiro standing outside the building.

"You stay there David will try to keep me engaged while Ojiro attacks you" Todoroki said while walking towards the ground floor.

David didn't spread his aura as he wanted to win this match just with air control. He started exploring the ground floor and soon saw Todoroki standing near the stairs.

Todoroki directly unleashed a block of ice towards David hoping that he will use fire to counter it but punched the air in front of him creating a concentrated air cannon that completely shattered the ice. Seeing this Todoroki's eyes widened while David just smirked at him.

'The look on his face is priceless.' David thought and unleashed another punch. Todoroki created a wall of ice only for it to be shattered again. Todoroki was getting ready to create more ice when he saw a kick coming towards his chest. He didn't realize that after sending the air punch David rushed towards the ice wall to catch Todoroki off guard.

David didn't kick with too much force as he wanted to toy with Todoroki for some time.

'Breaking your ego is more fun than breaking your bones.' David thought.

"Is that all you have? Your nothing but a one-trick pony then...hahaha. I don't like to bully others but this is too easy." David said making Todoroki frown and grit his teeth.

Todoroki stood up immediately to attack but David created an airball under his leg partially crouching on it (A/N: In Avatar it's called air scooter) and started circling Todoroki sending weak air punches towards him. The weak air punches didn't knockout Todoroki just make him stumble left and right. He was getting angry every passing moment while hearing David laughing around him.

In the observation room, the students and ALL Might were still trying to make sense of what was happening.

"Those attacks look very weak as compared to the first ones which shattered the ice" Uraraka said.

"He is toying with Todoroki " Jiro said with her eyes glued to the screen. Deku was writing something in his diary.

"Damm... I didn't know the difference would be this vast" Kirishima said to which Kaminari nodded.

'The students this year are somewhat even close to the level of lower pros already. Young Midoriya you have a lot of practice to do' ALL Might be thought while looking at Deku with a bitter smile.

Outside on the ground, Ojiro had just come face to face with Shoji. Shoji turned all his extra organs into fists. Ojiro ran towards Shoji and engaged in a close combat fight with him.

On the ground floor, David was still circling around Todoroki who was drenched in sweat and was kneeling on the ground. David stopped and stood in front of him in a distance with a serious face.

"Wh-Why? Why didn't you use your fire?" Todoroki said breathing heavily.

"The reason isn't as complicated and childish as yours. It's just that you were too weak to handle my fire. The day you accept your fire, I'll start seeing you as someone worth wasting my time on." David said walking towards Todoroki who was clearly enraged hearing someone call him 'too weak'.

"You have no idea why I don't use my fire" Todoroki shouted with renounced vigor and was about to send an ice attack towards David but suddenly saw a palm in front of his face and David standing beside him.

BANG!

Todoroki was laying flat on the ground. All he could see was David standing and looking down at him. He tried to get up but his injures and exhaustion wouldn't let him.

"I don't know why you don't use it but I know that the fire belongs to you and you alone. You wouldn't be a match for me even if you use that fire of yours, but at least it won't be this boring" David said and left towards the top floors.
