Plans of Ambush

"I have no problem with this request of yours Mr. Roku. But may I ask the reason for it?" Kanto said

"As you said Giran is in a mess and in hiding. I don't want us to be followed and I prefer if no one finds out that we are together." David said

'He could escape if he goes earlier than me and I even have to make a deal with Shino first. Shino will require time to create an elaborate trap.' Kanto thought.

"Mr. Roku why don't I treat you to a very rare delicacy which you can enjoy here. First I will go outside and wait for you and after 20-30 mins you can meet me. Then I'll take you to Giran so that you can complete the deal." Kanto said hesitantly.

" I will be waiting for the delicacy then Mr. Kanto" David said with a smile and hearing this Kanto had a bright smile on his face as he stood up, bowed, and left the room.

After a few minutes, a maid arrived with a tray and served the food.

'Oooo Kobe beef... this really is a delicacy. I must thank Kanto in blood' David thought as an evil grin formed on his face.

After 25 minutes David left the bunker only to see a car standing outside with no one but a driver. The driver was someone David recognized. He was a known criminal who killed some people.

'So using a known criminal as my driver so if things come to light they can pin the blame of my murder on him? Kanto works faster than I expected but is foolish and unreliable.' David thought.

David sat in the car and the car drove off. After a few minutes, the car stopped behind a sedan.

Kanto and 3 of his guards came out of the sedan and sat in the same car as David.

"Mr. David, how was the delicacy? Was the taste to your liking?" Kanto asked.

"I loved it. Did you find out where Giran is?"

"Yes...we are on our way there." Kanto said and after 10 minutes the car stopped in front of a chemical factory.

"Mr. Roku we are here." Kanto said as he himself opened the door for David.

David spread his aura thinly while keeping an eye on everyone around him to see if anyone notices the aura but no one noticed it. He saw that the factory had 15 people inside. David saw that except for the driver the other 3 guards and Kanto were with him to enter the chemical factory.

'Seems like the role of this driver in Kanto's plan is finished for now. So there is no need for him to stay alive.'

While David was walking with Kanto and his 3 guards towards the chemical factory, he controlled the driver's blood to make his arms, legs, and face stiff and then started making blood clots in arteries near the heart. The driver couldn't even move or scream or call for help. In the end, he also died of a heart attack like the attacker who he killed on the day of the recommendation exam of UA.

David had tried another way to slow the heart this time. Instead of freezing he just made the blood thick for a few seconds. this wasn't a permanent change and the blood instantly went back to normal viscosity and temperature. A guard noticed the driver keeping his head on the steering wheel but he ignored it thinking that the driver was just taking a nap.

Kanto talked to one of the people guarding outside the chemical factory while David noticed with his aura that the entire factory was dry. Shino had made sure that not even a drop of water is in the vicinity.

'I can condense water from the atmosphere but it will not be enough to deal with 19 people. Well, I can use whatever I want. Dead men tell no tails.'

"Mr. Roku let's go... Giran is waiting for us." Kanto said with a bit of excitement in his voice. His part of the deal was almost finished.

David nodded and entered the factory. After entering he saw Kanto immediately put distance between them and Kanto's guards pointed guns towards David.

"Sorry, Mr. Roku but supplier Shino gave me a better offer." Kanto said with a smirk and shrugged his shoulders.

Mission: Kill Shino, Kanto, and all the guards and leave no evidence.

Reward: Earth control level up.

"It's good to see you again. You have interfered with my business for no reason and even stole from me. Why don't you tell me where my money is and give me proof that Giran hired you. If I feel like it. I may give you an easy death or if you are extremely lucky I may just cripple you and leave you alive." Shino said.

"I thought you would start monologuing. Thank god you got to the point. Now about your money. The thing is I kinda need it so just forget that it was ever yours. You have brought so many people to entertain me so let's get started" David said and winked.

Shino expected David to be gloomy or at least someone willing to make a deal for someone who had stepped into a trap but David's behavior was completely opposite.

David created an aura skin and turned back facing Kanto and his guards.

"FIRE" Kanto shouted activating his quirk which turned his hands into hammers.

David ducked and created an ice blade covering his left arm and slashed it towards the guard standing near to him. The guard tried to back off but David had already pierced the blade through his heart. While removing his arm from the guard's chest he slashed his arm diagonally towards the other 2 guards creating an air blade with sliced through the two of them like a hot knife through butter.

Kanto was enraged by seeing this and ran forward to attack David's face with his hammer arms but dodged it and sliced of Kanto's hand. Kanto started screaming and tried to run but David pierced the ice blade through his neck.

Shino and his people weren't expecting David to retaliate and seeing him create an ice blade out of nothing and shoot wind blades sharp enough to cut through flesh and bones they were baffled.
