[Noor POV]
The morning was lovely. I spend two hours and 30 minutes on meditation. As my eyes slowly opened, an unease slither down my spine. I clenched both of my fist into a ball, trying as I might. Eventually I was able to relax my grip, allowing myself to calm down.
"You're mad at me for not telling you everything, aren't you?" Said the voice in my head. I had no doubt that it was the god who sent me here.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked.
"Because I didn't want you to worry about that, I wanted you to enjoy your new life without having to worry about anything." He said.
"…Why did you choose me?" I asked again.
"…I've reincarnated many. Those who wished with the powers in the realms of the gods, Those who use their power for their own lustful desires and greed and Those who used their power prey on the innocents for chaos. You Noor, you're different. You have broken wishes like most reincarnations, but you could have wished for something much more. Yet you wish to be in this world. Why is that?"
"…Because I love the world." I responded.
"You only watch RWBY up to season three, and the only reason you know what happens after that is because you read a lot of fanfics.
Noor, I've seen reincarnations wish to be an overpowered Saiayn, others with Naruto abilities. Systems, bloodlines, gods and more. So tell me, what's the real reason you choose to reincarnate in this world?" He asked me.
The wind blew through my hair as the sound of the wind was very calming. I sighed.
"RWBY is an amazing show, there's no doubt about it. It does amazing at least in these three seasons, but it goes down the drain with the other seasons. Which is why I didn't watch them, although you are correct, I did read a ton of fan fictions in order to know what happens after those three seasons. I'm more of a reader than a watcher you know.
Rwby had great potential, but it was literally wasted. They hardly expand on Aura and Magic, and have little to no explanation on how it really works, even dust. Most of the characters I enjoy are either wasted or just end up dead. Take Roman for an example. I may not be the greatest in making a story, and I have no right to criticize the show, but I would be lying to myself if I said the show isn't pretty…
…Shitty."
For a moment there was no response from the god, but I continued to speak.
"However, I also would be lying if I said I didn't like the show and its characters. That's why I choose this world, because I love it, and because I wanted to change the storyline to something else. A timeline where no one would have to suffer, we're everyone would laugh and have a good time. Which is why I've decided I'm not going to kill Salem, Ozpin, Adam or Cinder. Now I don't know about Ironwoods and Jacques. They are a different story."
"So that's the reason huh. Is it also because little red and Cinder remind you of your sisters?" He said as I glared at him.
"How do you know about my sister's?" I asked.
'I reincarnated you remember? I may not know everything but I know quite enough.' He said.
"Tsk." I muttered.
"Noor I am not trying to pry into your life, but just know this. I chose you because you aren't selfish nor are you greedy. You may have your ups and downs but I am willing to accept that. I need someone who looks out for the weak, protected of worlds, lover of all beings, good or bad. Their guardian. That is the sole purpose of why I choose you. You, my successor. Noor, god of the cosmos, and the guardian of Remnant.
As he spoke I listened. I honestly had no words. No thought once in my life I will be the one to take the role of a god, was I even ready for this job? Can I really do it? I'm just a boy, I would never see myself as a god nor do I think myself as one. But if what he says is true, then what does this have to do with the gods?
"What about the other gods?" I asked him.
"The gods from here always look for trouble with newcomer gods like you, and the fact that you are my success makes you an easy target." He said.
"Oh great so me basically being a god makes me a target now." I said sarcastically.
"Well that's one of the reasons. The other reason is that they've been trying to conquer Remnant for centuries. The reason they haven't is because they are waiting it out. This world's life force and magic is slowly dying. In a few more years the world will have to live without dust, and I'm sure you know without dust the people of remnant will have to find another way to live and if they can't find a way, they will die."
As I was processing all of this information, I couldn't help but feel…conflict.
"I see. I think I now know what's going on." I said, closing my eyes. At that moment I was in thought.
'Yea. This isn't going to be an easy life as I thought.'
I sighed. Opening my eyes up to the blue sky.
"Looks like I got so much work to do. As much as I hate getting myself involved in this I can't." I said as I began to stand straight up with a serious look. "I'm going to take on these gods. They won't need to worry about sending their minions to me, because I'm coming to them."
As I spoke the god in my voice didn't say anything, but then he spoke once again.
"I see. Then I will wish you good luck. As much as I would love to stay and chat more with you I am running out of time. Next time we meet I will give you a gift, and it will be the next time I see you."
"…What? What do you mean by that…?" I asked for a response, but got nothing. He left. "Hey!? Hey!? Don't just leave me hanging here, you still owe me Answers!?"
Suddenly something pulled me from the back into a purple hole as my body fell through.
"AAAAA…!!?"
As I was pulled through I crashed into a huge crater. The impact was massive but I was able to get back on my feet easily. Wiping the dirt and dust off my body and off my hair I took a look at my surroundings.
"Ugh!…Where the Salem am I??" I said. Puzzled by the sudden chance of the place the purple hole took me.
[Third POV]
Noor spotted a town far away with his incredible eyesight. He fled towards the city with astounding rate like the wind. Once he arrived on an edge of a huge building he took a close look as he was admiring the city, or should he say kingdom.
"This is the Kingdom of Mistral, it's fascinating. But what am I doing around here, and why was I brought here?" I mumbled. My thoughts were interrupted when I felt an uneasy feeling far from the towns.
'This feeling…it's coming from more than one person. Multiple Unordinary people, huntsman.' I thought. Noor was heading for one hell of an objective.
He fled to the unease presence from the area. When got there he gazed at the building knowing where he was.
"Haven Academy." He said in his monologue tone. Approaching the door he heard voices coming from inside the building, placing his ear on the doors. When Noor heard these voices he grew a broad smile.
[Meanwhile…]
"Hello Boys and girls." Cinder said with a vicious smile with Mercury, Emerald and Raven. Team RWBY and JN*R became hostile remembering what they did back in Beacon before it fell.
"Come on guys, is that a way to greet your old friends?" Mercury taunting them.
"Everyone Stay Calm!" Said Qrow helping everyone back.
As Jaune was shouting at Cinder for killing someone he cared about. Little did he know Cinder didn't have the slightest clue who he was.
"…Umm…Who are you again?" She asked.
Jaune didn't like this response and got into his fighting stance with his sword ready to attack Cinder and the rest of them. But before he could do that, something burst through the door so fast that no one could see who it was. As everyone gained their vision back, they took a look and saw that no was there.
"What the heck…?" Said Mercury.
Team RUby and the others didn't get what was going on either as they looked at each other to see if they knew anything.
"What the heck was that? Asked Qrow.
Ruby was about to say something but she stopped when she gazed at Lionheart's expression. If he was a normal human he couldn't have noticed this, oh curse his Faunus instinct. His eyes were wide with fright as he held his breath as he was afraid to even breath gazing towards what was displayed from his eyes. Ruby shifts her gaze towards the were he was looking, taken back when she saw. The rest of them saw their expressions and all looked up. They saw a boy upside down on the roof with his arms crossed. pale skin, black hair, black clothes, and eyes that glowed pale gray glaring back at them giving off a menacing feeling.
"Wrrrrrrrryyyyyy…"
