7:30, I couldn't help but thinking about him. I learned how to calculate time in those 7 years that I stayed in this room. Since then, I could know the time. I was laying down on my back, 12 feet away from him. He was on his mattress, asleep. Only a blanket covering him. His white shirt and his grey pants were old, and, he looked like he didn't had a proper bath in weeks. His blond hairs were long, and curly. His skin, dry. His hands covered in cuts and bruises, it's like he was in a fight. The only thing that was, different, was the runes all along his spinal cord. I thought that he got them tattooed, and I didn't think much. He didn't bothered me, and, even tho I didn't had any human connection inside my room, it didn't felt weird, instead, I was curious about him. I turned on my right side, staring at the wall, and to keep my mind off things. I kept Mr twinkle near me, since it was a coping mechanism, when I felt something touching my shoulder. I quickly sat on my mattress. I looked behind me, and I saw him, standing above me.
"Geez, you scared me" I said, putting my palm on my chest. I looked at him, and he was kind of worried.
"I'm sorry, but, I couldn't keep my mind off things. I need someone... to talk to, and, your the only one in this room" he said. I felt a hard punch in my heart, which led me to invite him to sit near me. He looked worried, which, made me pat his shoulder.
"Hey, why are you here? " I asked him, but, he stayed silent. I looked at him.
"What brought you here? " he asked me, this time, I took a deep breath, and looked into his eyes.
"Do you really wanna know? " I said.
"Well, if I'm gonna stay with you in a permanent amount of time, how will I get in a decent conversation if I don't know you" he said, which, made sense.
"My parents, abandoned me here, when I was 10 year old, on the day of my birthday. The only thing that remind me of them, is Mr Twinkle, and, it's the only thing that keeps me of having hope, that one day I'll get out of here. What about you Mark? " I asked.
"Well, it's kind of complicated. I'm a mutant, just like you. The only thing that we have in common is the runes, on your left arm. And, I guess this is an asylum, for crazy people like us" he said. I looked at him. How did he knew that I was a mutant all along, like, maybe I got those tattoos, and, as I looked at him, a soldier barged in. He quickly charged into me, and grabbed me from my wrist.
"NO, PLEASE NO, DON'T TAKE ME AWAY, LEAVE ME ALONE" I screamed. Mark was trying to help me but the other soldier already pinned him down. The only thing that I remembered, is that I was dragged into an open space. I could feel the grass, the people watching, the open space. The sun shining on my skin, and the people who were looking at me in shock. I was crying for help, begging them, but non of them helped me.
"Please don't take me away, please just leave me alone" I begged, but, the soldier didn't release me. Instead, I felt a hard tap on my neck, before passing out.
