Chapter 36

Hyun Na Bi was waiting for the weekend to arrive. As usual her mother had not returned any of her calls so Hyun Na Bi had no choice other than to speak with her sister directly. Song Ji Hye was supposed to visit an orphanage this weekend along with her son and Hyun Na Bi arrived a little bit early so that she could meet with her sister when the opportunity presents itself. 

Song Ji Hye was presenting the kids with school supplies, snacks, clothes, etc. and Hyun Na Bi was waiting patiently for this drama to end. A smile was plastered on Song Ji Hye's face the entire time; while others may think it was genuine Hyun Na Bi could easily detect her sister's fake smile. She had waited almost an hour before she saw Song Ji Hye aka Hyun Dan Bi move away from the crowd. Hyun Na Bi followed her in secret maintaining distance between them until her sister paused. Hyun Na Bi could see that her sister took out a sanitizer to wash her hands clean and scrubbing her hands so hard. She knew that Hyun Dan Bi was bad but she could see now that she was worse. 

Hyun Na Bi stepped out of the shadows and called out, "Hyun Dan Bi"

Song Ji Hye who was busy cleaning her hands was shocked to hear her real name called out that she turned around to see the source of the voice. She opened and closed her mouth but no sound came out. The fear was evident in her eyes as she saw her sister standing in front of her.

Hyun Na Bi tried hard to control her laughter as she saw her sister's perplexed face. Since she did not get a reply, she continued, "Oh my??? Are you scared? I'm not the ghost… you are the one who's supposed to be dead"

After what felt like a long gap when Song Ji Hye felt like she could finally speak, she spoke out, "How... how did you find me?"

Hyun Na Bi was trying hard to suppress the laughter seeing her sisters horrified face, and continued calmly, "Well it wasn't so hard. You were trying so hard to show yourself as a socialite so it was too easy to find you… But You….. You being alive was a surprise."

Song Ji Hye was looking around the entire time making sure no one had come here in search of her. She was not ready to get caught. 

"Shhh" Song Ji Hye placed a finger on her lips asking Hyun Na Bi to stay silent and dragged her to the nearest restroom and shut the door after making sure that all the stalls were empty. Seeing that they were alone at last, she started to relax a bit.

Gaining confidence, she asked at last, "What do you want?"

"You are seeing me after so many years and this is what you want to talk to me"

"I hated you in the past and I hate you now too… what else did you expect from me? Hugs? Want me to kiss you and shed a couple of tears?"

Hyun Na Bi couldn't help but wonder at Song Ji Hye's audacity to pretend like they weren't seeing each other after so many years after she had faked her own death, "Of course I didn't expect anything from you. How could I? You killed your baby just to have this rich life. What can I expect from such a vile human being? No you're not human either"

Now Song Ji Hye was horrified. No one knew about the baby except her ex-boyfriend Park Sung Ho whom she thought was not in his senses after he was notified about her death. If Hyun Na Bi knew about this critical information then she was in danger. She had pretended to be a virgin to her husband Nam Jeong Hoon and that was one of the main reasons why he had started an affair with her. If he gets to know this then he would surely chase her out of the house.

"Who are you? How did you know all this?"

Hyun Na Bi scoffed, "are you happy now after destroying our lives? How could you do this to our father? How could you do this to Park Sung Ho? How could you do this to our family?"

"Park Sung Ho?"

"Don't tell me you forgot him. He was your first victim. The saying that criminals never remember the victims must be true I guess"

"I… I have no idea what you're talking about"

Hyun Na Bi was really astonished by the way her sister was talking, "Of course you wouldn't. Well you forgot your first love and let's say I believe that. What about our father?"

Hyun Dan Bi aka Song Ji Hye reacted totally indifferent even when Hyun Na Bi was talking about her father and she knew never knew that she could hate a person more than her mother in law. 

Hyun Dan Bi asked coolly, "What about him?"

"You did not come even to father's funeral. He adored you but you are being such a "

Hyun Dan Bi looked at her watch, it was almost time for her to leave the orphanage, so she shut down Hyun Na Bi, "Shut up and do not speak another word"

"Did you abort the child or did you give the child up for adoption?"

Hyun Dan Bi looked ready to leave the place, "Are you done? I'm busy"

Hyun Na Bi wanted to hurl something at her sister's head, "HYUN DAN BI"

Hyun Dan Bi walked towards the door, unlocked it and turned towards Hyun Na Bi confidently, "I'm Song Ji Hye now and stop running your mouth. I have nothing to do with the Hyun family now and Hyun Dan Bi is dead." 

That is when Hyun Na Bi remembered how she knew about the Nam family, "Wait… you're the Song Ji Hye who tried to seduce all the rich men but finally settled for Nam Jeong Hoon?"

Hyun Dan Bi's face darkened several shades as she heard this. She had heard this rumor so many times and only now she was able to mingle with the socialites and hearing Hyun Na Bi say this, she lost her mind and screamed out loud, "Just shut your mouth and get lost. I never want to see your face again"

"You…. You…." Before Hyun Na Bi could complete her sentence, Hyun Dan Bi aka Song Ji Hye was long gone.
