Rpg's and mmoRpg's

Now I am a gamer, which is funny since im absolute crap at most games. But there are 3 types of games I am good at, Bullet hells, RPG's, and MmoRpg's.

Now whats the diffrence between an mmorpg, and a rpg.

RPG stands for Roleplaying game. Usually a RPG is when there is a character that you play as, and can insert your feelings into. Such as the entire farcry series, the entire GTA series, all of Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Borderlands. And then there are more such as Scarlet Nexus, Final Fantasy, and so on and so forth.

MMO stand for Massive Multiplayer online game, so an MmoRpg is a Massive Multiplayer online Roleplaying Game. This goes for Elder Scrolls online, Final Fantasy 14, Phantasy Star Online (PSO), PSO2: and PSO2NGS, and two of the biggest games ever created

MINECRAFT AND RUNESCAPE.

Now there is a big difference I've discovered recently that makes me feel kind of dumb. And that is.

The Grinding process.

Now a grinding process is when you do something repetitive for 15+ minutes in a game to boost some sort of numerical value. But there is a huge difference when someone grinds in a RPG and when someone grinds in an MMORPG.

In an RPG grind times are fairly short, now to find how long the average grind is I'm going to use 15 minutes as a minimum and 6 hours as a maximum.

Examples for differing grinds.

Archvale: 15 minutes is what you need to get to around 15000 gold.

Scarlet Nexus: 30 minutes can get you around 1 - 4 levels depending on the attachment and level you are

Nier Automata: Takes an 1 hour to get 4 levels if you dont use the golden rabbit cheese. Atleast in early game.

Skyrim: 3 hours+ to get onehanded up too 100 using the companion cheese.

Final Fantasy: The minimum is 1 hour to get to 100'000 exp in any of the games. To get 900'000 takes atleast 4 hours minimum if you are a sweat.

Now those seem big but are actually reletivly small considering the mmo time. Now.

MmoRpg's take significantly longer no matter the game. In any mmo it takes atleast an hour to get anywhere.

Examples.

Dark Souls: Takes maybe 1 hour of continuous grind to get ~700'000 souls in NG+1.

Hollowknight: 2 hours to get up too 1000 shells our whatever they are called. Maybe faster with different methods, I dont know since I play this game casually.

PSO: Atleast 3 hours to get 5 levels. I think, haven't played the game in a while.

PSO2:NGS: It took me 40 hours of gameplay to reach level 16. I was going slow so lets say 20 minimum for level 16.

Minecraft: If you want to build a really nice fanfy base, it is easily 100+ hours minimum. 1000+ if you want to build a godly one. Basing this off of minecraft youtubers upload schedules and timeframes

Runescape:....

.

.

.

Dear fucking lord. Runescape need more than 50 words to describe this absolute grindset of a game. Have you ever heard the mean of "Holy shit I reached _____ 99 in Runescape, Time to go get a life."..... Thats isnt a joke. Getting something too 99 in Runescape isnt a grind, it's a full ass 9-5 job. The thing is Autoclickers are baned on Runescape too. So unless you dont get caught with a auto clocker, you are going to have to manually click a button alot. If we arn't talking gold cheese or paying for levels with Gold

It would take atleast 18 DAYS too get too level 99

432 HOURS FOR 1 STAT UP TOO 99, AND THERES 28 SKILLS.

That is a total of 12,096 hours to get evert skill up too level 99. That is 504 DAYS. Thats a year and a half of gameplay to get 1 character maxed out without paying with gold.

Holy shit dude I expected something big but not an actual year. I just researched this and did all of the math while writing this. I am boggled right now.

I'm done. I'm sure you get the point now.
