Harry and Ron whispered to each other, while Ivan and Hermione sat on the other side of the table.
Hermione whispered, "He's very handsome, isn't he?"
Ivan asked blankly, "What?"
Ivan was surprised, as he followed her gaze he realized who she was referring to, his gaze was focused on the teachers table, to be more precise Lockhart sitting at the table.
Hermione as she pulled out a book called "Travels with Vampires" she said, "Order of Merlin, Third Class; Honorary Member of the Dark Force Defense League; and five time winner of the Wizard Seminar's Most Charming Smile Award, not everyone can receive these awards."
Then Hermione said, "We have a Defense Against the Dark Arts class this afternoon, it will be your first class at Hogwarts."
Ivan said, "Yes, he can be a really amazing wizard. Unfortunately, the first years will have to wait until tomorrow to hear his class."
Ivan was, in fact, happy that he didn't have to go to Lockhart's class today.
He remembered clearly what happened in Lockhart's first class, so he didn't want to be attacked by a bunch of Cornish Pixies. He hoped this class would teach Lockhart a lesson, so he wouldn't bring up things he couldn't control in class in the future.
Soon, the four went their separate ways, Harry, Ron and Hermione went to Lockhart's class, while Ivan returned to the Gryffindor common room since the first years had no classes in the afternoon.
In the Gryffindor common room, Ivan worked together with Fred and George to finalize the posters for the paper, slogans were written in bold type, with information on advertisements, solicitations, royalties, ordering methods and prices.
To help grow the user base, Ivan decided to give away the first issue of The Magic of Hogwarts newspaper for free, as long as the content was good enough to attract buyers, it would be worth it.
After Fred and George left, Colin invited Ivan to play a game, but he declined their offer, and then went to the library to look up information for the Hogwarts History section of The Magic of Hogwarts.
He plans to divide the section into two parts, the first of which will have the title "Hogwarts History," which will focus primarily on the most prominent historical events that have occurred in the school's history.
The first story will be about the founders of Hogwarts.
It is written in the book called " History of Hogwarts ", but Ivan believed that only a few wizards read it, at least Harry and Ron have never read the book.
He will also write about things not introduced in the book.
For information not introduced in the book, he will talk to Professor Binns.
As for the second part of the "History of Hogwarts" section, it will be called, "Forgotten Memories."
This part is mainly to introduce information about Hogwarts graduates, Ivan has not yet decided who to write about.
He had intended to write about Dumbledore, but could not find anything related to the headmaster other than what was already known.
As for another well-known figure, Ivan found a ton of information related to Tom Riddle, but he doesn't want other people to think it's Voldemort propaganda.
"Who should I write about, they have to be famous enough, so that other students know who they are, but it can't be a Dark Wizard."
Ivan thought.
All afternoon Ivan sat in the library browsing through the Hogwarts books, each book was very thick and stacked in piles higher than he was.
Mrs. Pince, the librarian, looked at Ivan trying to figure out what the student was doing.
She had never seen a freshman like Ivan sitting in the library on the first day of school reading these boring history books.
Around three o'clock in the afternoon, Ginny came looking for Ivan.
Ginny said, "I heard Colin say you were in the library."
Then Ginny looked at the piles of books around Ivan and said, "I just got a letter from Hagrid inviting us to his hut."
Ivan rubbed his eyes and stretched his body, still undecided on who to write about, then began to put away the books around him to their respective places and said to Ginny, "Well, I'm ready to take a break anyway."
When they finally stepped out of the castle door and breathed in a breath of fresh air, Ivan felt revived.
Ginny looked at Ivan and said, "Ivan, I heard Hermione say you're going to open a newspaper."
Ivan nodded and said, "Yes, I am, since you reminded me, I can take this opportunity to tell Hagrid about the paper and try to get him to join, I think he will be delighted to be in charge of the creatures in the forbidden forest."
Ginny said cheerfully, "Yes, yes, yes!"
Ginny looked at Ivan with a hint of admiration and said, "A newspaper, that's amazing, I've never heard of a student starting their own."
Ivan said, "It's not impossible when there are people helping you, Hermione, Harry and some of your siblings are helping me."
Ginny said shyly, "Since everyone is helping, I can help too, if you don't mind."
Ivan looked at her and decided to tease her.
Ivan deliberately spoke in a serious tone, "Ginny, it's not easy to run a newspaper. We only need the best wizards."
Ginny tilted her head as she sulked a little and then said, "I think I know what you mean, Ivan!"
After seeing the look on her face, Ivan couldn't help but chuckle a little.
Then Ivan quickly said, "Don't be silly, Ginny, I was about to invite you to help Hermione, there are so many manuscripts she can't finish them alone!"
Ginny looked at Ivan with a pout and said, "But you said you only need the best wizards!"
Ivan looked at Ginny with a smile and said, "Our dear Ginny is the best!"
Then Ivan said in a teasing tone, "Harry is in charge of the Quidditch section, and if you join there will be plenty of opportunities to meet him!"
Ginny blushed and nodded, Ivan hadn't waited for her to stop blushing before moving on to the subject of Tom Riddle's diary, but to no avail, soon the two arrived at Hagrid's hut.
When Ivan knocked on the door, he heard the bark of a muffled dog and then came the sound of Hagrid's voice, "Fang, sit down!"
Soon, Hagrid opened the door a little, but all Ivan saw was Hagrid's bearded face. The next moment, a giant black hound jumped through the door.
Fang shoved Ivan and began licking his face. Ginny screamed in horror behind him.
Hagrid came over and dragged the hound to his feet, "Don't worry, get down Fang!"
Ivan stood up and wiped the spittle from his face as Fang gleefully circled him.
Like Hagrid, the Hound was not as fierce as he looked.
