Ivan was shocked to see such an absurd scene in front of him. Peter Pettigrew and Ron were rolling and struggling on the floor. Ron was yelling at Harry and Hermione, calling their names. Peter, who was on top of him, screamed every now and then, like a pig being led to the slaughter.
Pettigrew wanted to escape, but Ron held him back and wouldn't let him get away.
Ron's strength was so great that Peter was unable to aim the tip of his wand at him.
"Come on, I got him...," Ron shouted.
"Let go of me, Ron, please, my benevolent master!" shouted Pettigrew. "You won't let them catch me, will you? I'm your rat; I'm your good pet."
"I won't believe you anymore, I've been a jerk, look what I've done..." Ron's tears spilled uncontrollably.
"Kid, I'm helping you, I'm on your side..." cried Pettigrew.
"Shut up!" Ron interrupted, looking at him with extreme disgust. "Ugly, dirty bastard, because of you I betrayed my friends!"
"That was your wish!" Peter said hastily, his expression more distorted due to the madness. "Think about it, Ron! How many times have you been secretly crying under your sheets? How envious and jealous were you of Harry, how often did you crave his attention? And that Ivan, the bloody guy stole Hermione and took what's yours. You said you'd make him regret it, make him pay for it."
"No!" Ron was heartbroken, Pettigrew's words were touching his nerves, and he didn't want to think about such things. He shook his head hard and shouted fearlessly, "I'd rather die than believe you again! I'd rather die than betray my friends again."
"Well said, Ron!" said Ivan.
"You're the best, Ron!" Hearing Ron cry out, Harry cried as well and said, "You relied on your own willpower to free yourself from the grip of the Imperius Curse. You are a hero, a true hero."
"You're our best friend, we all believe in you!" said Hermione.
Ivan, Harry and Hermione ran forward, approaching the two people who were fighting.
In front of them, Black took the lead.
"No, don't come!" seeing Black's grim expression, Peter gave a shrill shout.
His eyes were wide open; he looked terrified to the extreme.
He knew that if he was captured by Black, he would kill him without waiting for the Dementors.
This time, no one would help him again!
He couldn't let it happen. He waved his arm and waved his wand.
Ron, who was holding his right hand, was rolling like a broken rag doll on the floor, and his body was covered in blood.
But try as Peter might, Ron, gritting his teeth in persistence, did not loosen his hands.
In his physical state, he was no match for Peter Pettigrew.
But Ron's face showed madness, Peter was unable to get rid of him quickly.
Pettigrew did not dare to enter his Rat form. He was too afraid that if Ron continued to hold onto him while he was in that state, he would fall into an even more passive situation.
"Let go, Ron, let go...," Pettigrew struggled screaming, his wand emitting a light every now and then, and he was barely wobbling with his brute strength.
They were both rolling on the floor. Peter's left hand seemed to touch a stone; he lifted it and struck Ron's head hard.
Bang!
Through the dim moonlight, Peter saw Ron's bloodied face, and he appeared to be losing consciousness.
Ron loosened his grip on Peter's hand, and Peter's heart fluttered. Before he could do anything, he found himself being captured by Sirius Black. Black's strength was so great that it nearly tore him apart.
With his left hand around Peter's neck, Black closed his fist in his right hand and punched him in the face.
One punch, two punches, three punches....
Under Black's furious attack, Pettigrew didn't even have the strength to plead.
"Stop it, Sirius, you're killing him!" Ivan, Harry and Hermione kept running over to the fainting Ron to lift him up. "We'd better hurry, the dementors are coming soon, we must get back to the castle!"
"I don't care about the Dementors; I want to kill this one..." said a furious Black.
"Let me go, Sirius... Dementors..." Peter muttered helplessly.
His eyes were blurry, but his right hand was steady, holding Ron's wand tightly.
He seemed to be speaking vaguely. Ivan was the only one who saw his lips moving. It looked like a spell, very evil dark magic, and he sensed something bad was about to happen.
He wanted to stop Pettigrew, but it was too late.
"Look out, stay away!" shouted Ivan.
The others raised their heads looking at him in astonishment, and even Black stopped.
They didn't know what had happened, or why Ivan said it.
Ivan didn't have time to explain anything. He pulled Hermione behind him and hugged her tightly.
The wand in his hand emitted a dazzling light, like the protego charm, forming a silvery white shield to protect them.
At the same time, the tip of Pettigrew's wand emitted five strange orange fire-like lights that shone through the darkness.
Sirius Black froze and his memory instantly returned to the Muggle street twelve years ago. He also remembered this magic. Peter Pettigrew, who had been sobbing in front of him at the time, the tip of his wand also glowed sharply with five orange lights, and then....
Boom!!!!
The flames shot out and a loud explosion came from Peter's wand!
There was a large pit in the ground, and Black only had time to leave Peter, and he rolled hard to the side, and then the violent explosion blew him away. Under the stares of the children who screamed in amazement, his body fell heavily to the ground.
The impact of the explosion sent the earth flying straight towards them.
Ivan's magic shield shattered instantly. They were too close to Pettigrew.
He held Hermione tightly in his arms. They both closed their eyes. As he thought it was all over, a white light flew out of the castle. The magic that had just stopped Peter from leaving the door reappeared, raising a new barrier in front of them.
The power of the explosion was too great. Although there was magical protection, the four continued to fly like a ship floating in a storm, and were shaken violently.
The tremendous explosion stunned Ivan, and the sound of the explosion gradually dissipated.
They did not appear to be seriously damaged. Ivan heard Hermione and Harry screaming. He tried to lift his head and saw that Peter Pettigrew was running away.
Peter looked extremely miserable, not even using shape-shifting magic, and most of his body was bloody. Ron's wand was tossed aside. Peter's right hand, with which he held the wand, the one that previously had no finger, was now completely gone. It became a piece of rotting flesh on the ground as the price for his use of this dark magic.
This extremely evil forbidden magic requires the flesh and blood of the caster as a catalyst.
Twelve years ago, Pettigrew paid a finger for using this magic, and now it's his entire right hand! But he kept moving, advancing slowly, and gradually disappeared into the dark Forbidden Forest.
Ivan hurried; he knew he couldn't let Peter Pettigrew run away.
Ron had relied on his own willpower to break the Imperius Curse's hold.
If he caught Peter now, that would be the perfect ending to this year's event.
