Chapter 225: Blood-flavored lollipops

Ivan guessed that the girl in front of him was a vampire, and looked at her nervously.

Deep down, it didn't seem so bad to be bitten on the neck by such a beautiful and charming girl.

But at the thought that her bite was not so simple, Ivan's body trembled at the thought. In Lockhart's book "Travels with Vampires," the vampire feeding process had been described in detail.

After selecting a good target, a vampire usually uses magic to bind it.

It uses its sharp teeth to cut through the softer skin of its prey's neck, piercing its vessel, and causing blood to spurt out. Without wasting a drop, the vampire will absorb all his blood in a minute.

Ivan wept without tears. Perhaps this was the end of his life.

A vampire feeds on large quantities of blood. Despite his small size, it wouldn't take him long to suck his blood.

When Hermione returned, she might only see a mummy.

Ivan once again regretted having had too much bad luck. He actually met a vampire in Diagon Alley on Christmas Day and it was about to be his lunch, Was it retribution after kissing Hermione?

Ivan tried to communicate. No matter what he said, the girl didn't respond.

She reached down and started groping Ivan's body as if she was looking for something.

However, her gaze involuntarily drifted to Ivan's neck, followed by a very obvious swallowing motion that sounded unsettling.

The girl's throat movement looked very cute, but its meaning was creepy.

She seemed to be patient and resisted the temptation to bite Ivan. However, she seemed almost unable to take it, and it looked like she could bite him at any moment.

After another miscommunication, Ivan decided to get straight to the point and shouted, "I know you're a vampire. You don't want to bite me, you don't want to suck my blood, do you? I advise you not to. Here's Diagon Alley, my friends.... "

The girl paused and her burgundy eyes looked at Ivan in silence.

For a long time, she did not speak, and when Ivan thought he had failed to communicate again, he heard the girl's distinctive husky, crisp voice, "Besides the blood of Dragons, I generally do not take the blood of any lesser creature."

When Ivan heard what the girl said, he was stunned. He blinked for a long time to confirm what she had just said. Did she really mention the blood of Dragons?!

Ivan wasn't sure about this girl, was she joking?!

She didn't seem to have that much of a sense of humor.

After Dumbledore's account of the twelve uses of dragon's blood, the greatest discovery recognized by modern alchemy, Ivan finally found the thirteenth.

"You're not kidding me?" he tried to speak in a relaxed tone.

In fact, this joke would be quite funny if he didn't take into account the fact that he was currently bound by a red chain and that there was a vampire watching him.

"No!" The girl looked seriously at Ivan. After a pause, she replied quietly. "Look at you, you look like I want to bite you, but I don't know what the taste will be like."

"It's definitely not tasty!" Ivan hastened to say.

The girl's comment was very lethal, especially when she just finished, she started looking at his neck, and swallowed, looking extremely impatient.

It was too dangerous, and Ivan decided not to discuss the subject any further.

Anyway, the vampire girl didn't look like she was going to suck her own blood right now, so why did she say she smelled the food and looked for something through it?

At that moment, Ivan suddenly thought of something.

In addition to the Black family collection he had just pulled out at 12 Grimmauld Square, and the Slytherin locket, he had some candy on him.

They were the candies he and Hermione had bought in Hogsmeade, because they weren't very big, they just stuck them in their pockets and took a piece when they wanted to eat.

Regular candy was nothing, of course, but there were a few pieces from Honeydukes candy store owner Mr. Flume, who asked Ivan to help him promote his new product....

¡¡¡¡Blood-flavored lollipops!!!!

The Honeydukes candy store conducted several questionnaires in The Magic of Hogwarts newspaper about the flavor of their upcoming product. The one that was most popular was the blood flavor. Many wizards thought it would be great, but the actual product sold poorly after it was made.

Because the flavor was exactly the same as real blood, almost no one bought the candy, and the finished products piled up in the basement of Honeydukes candy store.

Ivan remembered that he had said at the time that these candies were specially designed for vampires. He never expected a random word to be so true.

Because of the blood flavored lollipops, there really was a vampire that came to him.

"Stop searching, I know what you're looking for!" Seeing the girl's cold little hand picking at him for a long time, he couldn't help but say, "That thing is called a bloody lollipop, it should suit a vampire's taste. Besides the sweetness, it is similar to the taste of blood. Let go of me, I can find it for you."

"I don't believe you!" The girl hesitated, shook her head and refused; she said vigilantly, "My uncle warned me not to believe wizards and the Ministry of Magic. You are not trustworthy. You will only kill us with all sorts of intrigues."

These dark creatures were even more extreme in their thinking than werewolves. No wonder Voldemort first thought of vampires when he wanted to find allies.

Their mind is dark enough and their overall strength is powerful enough to be some of the strongest allies.

Ivan didn't know where the girl had grown up, but it was no surprise that vampires thought so cynically.

For centuries, there had been an antagonistic relationship between wizards and vampires.

If anyone else knew that this girl was a vampire, it wouldn't take long for all the Aurors from the Ministry of Magic to be deployed, filling all of Diagon Alley.

They would arrest her and send her to the Wizengamot for trial.

Even if it turned out she wasn't sucking human blood, the girl would be locked up in Azkaban for life due to her taboo status as a vampire.

Only death would be waiting for her there. Dementors don't usually give fresh blood to their prisoners.

There was a brief silence; Ivan didn't know what to say.

Since she didn't believe in him, he had to tell her in words where the candy was, instead of letting her dig it out.

In a few seconds, the girl found the few bloody lollipops.

She tried to eat a piece and looking at the expression on his face, he seemed to enjoy the taste.

"Well, your purpose has been achieved, could you unchain me?" Ivan tried to say, "I'm not malicious, I don't want to hurt you, and I don't want to talk about it with anyone else. You can be sure..."

The girl looked at Ivan again and seemed to be thinking about it.

Because of the bloody paddle, her mental state was much better than before.

Under the dim candlelight, the girl's red eyes shone with a strange glow.
