Chapter 249: Reopening of the Mourning Club

Due to the unprecedented success of sales at the store and the good news that Sirius was going to be teaching at Hogwarts, the atmosphere at dinner was very pleasant.

With Hermione and Ginny's help, Mrs. Weasley made a large table full of dishes.

In the courtyard of the Burrow, everyone sat happily around the table, eating delicious dishes and watching Fred and George's fireworks.

Professor Lupin and Mr. Weasley also told some jokes that made everyone laugh.

"I can't believe you're going to be a school teacher!" Harry smiled beside him.

He had been laughing all night.

Harry was still immersed in the great surprise that Sirius was going to teach at Hogwarts. He felt like he was dreaming: Ron had recovered from the damage of the Imperius Curse, his godfather was going to be a professor at Hogwarts, Ivan's store had achieved unprecedented success and he received the firebolt as a Christmas gift....

The recent events made Harry feel happiness he had never felt before.

"I didn't think about it either, until a few months ago, I just wanted to get revenge on Peter Pettigrew, even if my life was at stake. But now it's fine the way it is. Ivan was right. It's probably the best outcome for me," Sirius' face was filled with a cheerful smile, making him look younger and more like he did at Hogwarts over a decade ago.

"Speaking of which!" Hermione asked curiously. "Sirius, I've been wondering, what are you you're going to do with the Defense Against the Dark Arts class next semester? "I just spoke to Remus. I'm going to continue with their methods, so they can see other Dark creatures. Also, I'm going to teach you guys how to duel. I've seen some of you fighting, and your combat experience is lacking. Take Ivan, for example. You have a lot of magic, you master many magic spells, no worse than mine, but you can't use them to their full potential. What you need now is more skill and experience, something you only learn in real combat."

"Battle experience and skill, you mean..." Suddenly Ivan had an idea, "Aren't you going to reopen the dueling club?"

The club, whose goal was to teach wizards how to duel and improve their combat experience and strength, was formed last year at Lockhart's suggestion.

At the time, the response was so great that everyone expected almost every young wizard in the school to join.

But the club had become a joke. Lockhart was not at all opposed to Snape, and could not even resist a move.

In the end, everyone saw that Harry knew Parseltongue, and that was horrible for the club's debut.

"I have that idea, but I need Dumbledore's consent." Sirius slowly twirled his wand in his hand and continued, "I've heard about last year, and if Snape wants to, I'd like to invite him to be my opponent and show him a few things about a real duel."

He added an accent on "duel," and it seemed he couldn't wait to play with Snape. The new hatred and old grievances between the two men were not entirely clear.

They were sick of each other, and their enmity surpassed that of Harry and Malfoy.

"God, I can't wait!" Ron lifted his head from his plate and swallowed the contents of his mouth. "Teach the old bat a lesson! He was always looking for trouble with Harry, he's got us locked up and he's taking points off Gryffindor. We've put up with him long enough..."

"RON!" Mrs. Weasley grabbed Ron's ear and said harshly, "How dare you say that about your teacher?!"

"Oh, Mum, you don't know...," Ron said in distress.

Everyone laughed at Ron's embarrassment.

This topic didn't continue, but looking at their faces, they couldn't wait to see Sirius and Snape duel, even for Percy and Hermione, who had always behaved properly.

After a brief lull, there was another guffaw over the table.

Fred and George pointed to Percy, who ate a new variation of their transfiguration cookies. Percy turned into a frog and then returned to his normal appearance.

Under everyone's laughter, Percy chased Fred and George around the courtyard, and Mrs. Weasley hurriedly stopped them.

At that moment, a small gray figure flew out of the house and landed on Ron's plate.

It was still chirping and fighting with Ron for food on the plate.

"Shut up, Pig," Ron hastily waved his hand and the owl in front of him scurried to the side. "Don't touch anything on my plate."

"Why do you call that owl Pig?" Hermione asked curiously, she had been busy with Ivan at the store recently, and didn't have time to worry about the name Ron gave the owl.

"Because he's a stupid one." Ginny, sitting next to her, smiled and said, "The name Ron gave him before was Pigwidgeon."

"Yeah, that name isn't stupid at all." Ron said sarcastically, "I thought about it for a long time with Harry, and came up with the name Pigwidgeon, which matches Hedwig's very well. But just as we were about to name it, Ginny already had the name. "

"Don't you think this name is very cute?" asked Ginny.

"I don't see anything cute. I tried to change his name, but it was too late, he doesn't respond to anything else. So now that he's gone, it's Pig." Ron wrinkled his nose and said.

Pigwidgeon ran gleefully to his side, squealing shrilly.

"Pig's a good name, he's very cute." Hermione used the breadcrumbs to fetch the owl.

It flew up to Hermione immediately, which made her laugh.

Dinner lasted until after ten o'clock and ended in laughter.

The next day, because Sirius was also on his way to Hogwarts, he hurried back on the Knight Bus instead of returning to school on the Hogwarts Express at King's Cross Station 9¾ platform.

They hurried to breakfast, put on their coats and scarves, and prepared to hit the road.

The early January morning was cold and the skies gray.

At 7 a.m., a triple-decker bus, had appeared violently out of nowhere in front of them at the door of the Burrow. The Weasleys stood in the doorway and waved them off.

The first stop on the Knight Bus was Diagon Alley, and Sirius was already waiting for them at the top of the bus.

Ivan got on. He saw all sorts of mismatched chairs on the bus, clustered haphazardly around the windows.
