Chapter 305: Delighted to devour you!

Just as Ivan got rid of the Acromantulas, Malfoy slowly regained consciousness.

He opened his eyes and faintly looked around, but there was nothing but endless darkness. He did not know where he was or where he was.

The Acromantula that dragged him here was gone, and there was a sharp chill under Malfoy's body, as if he had been placed on smooth stone.

He wanted to sit up, but as soon as he exerted force, he felt a sharp pain. The bones of his entire body seemed about to crumble.

Malfoy cried out in pain and his voice was quickly absorbed by silence. He had never encountered such a situation before, and he had no idea what to do. His head completely stopped working, his tears flowed subconsciously, and soon he burst into tears.

He thought of his parents and of death.

Fear and loneliness engulfed him, and his mind was filled with bad images.

"Lost lamb, you are disturbing my sleep!" Suddenly, a low voice sounded in the darkness.

Malfoy stopped immediately and dared not make another sound. He looked around with his large, terrified eyes. It was unclear where the sound was coming from.

Darkness still surrounded him, and he couldn't see anything.

The longer the silence lasted, the more terrified Malfoy became. He groaned and shrank into a ball, not feeling the slightest bit warm.

After a long time, he whispered, "Who are you?"

"Poor boy, you're asking for my name, but don't you know that everyone has abandoned you." The low voice said, "Look around you, everyone has betrayed you, screaming and running away from the forest."

"I don't understand what you mean." Malfoy said shakily, "You mean Goyle, Crabbe and Ivan Mason? The three of them... They left me?"

The darkness seemed to grow stronger, and the seeds of despair began to germinate.

If Goyle, Crabbe and Ivan gave up on him like this, they could tell others that they didn't even see him, so there would be no one to save him. If the professors and his father couldn't find him. Malfoy could hardly imagine it.

He would be left alone here and die slowly in despair.

That was the worst case scenario. Malfoy sobbed, almost on the verge of collapse.

"I... what should I do?" muttered Malfoy, as if talking to himself.

"All light and hope was swallowed up; only despair and death linger here." The voice began to speak in Malfoy's mind. "The bitter cold makes you shiver in the dark, because you know you will end up here alone forever."

"NO!" shouted Malfoy. "Please help me, I don't want to die. Since you're here too, you can save me, right?"

"Only a deep sleep can bring peace. When you are asleep, you will find that there is no true line between reality and illusion, between fear and expectation." The voice got lower and lower, and at last seemed to whisper, "Okay, I'm beside you, don't move, breathe...."

Malfoy felt like he was going mad, how could the voice tell him to sleep in such a place?

How could it be possible? He just wanted to get out of here as soon as possible.

Even though he was on the verge of collapse, he still hadn't lost his mind, and Malfoy reminded himself that this sudden voice was not to be trusted.

He tried to stay alert, but he felt more and more afraid.

"Everyone will abandon you, it's all your fault, and even your followers despise you." Whispers without pause echoed in Malfoy's ear. "Fear is like a shadow, it's filling your mind. The emptiness sucks at your soul, and slowly enjoys it with satisfaction."

"No, don't!" Malfoy gasped.

He wanted the other person to shut up, but it was useless. This whispering never seemed to stop.

He didn't know what to do. For a moment, he felt like this voice was driving him mad. If not, it would be a matter of time. Little by little he was losing his mind, and as the voice said, in the end only fear remained in his mind.

He could not feel anything else. Since everyone gave up on him, why didn't he try to believe in that voice and do what it said?

For an unknown amount of time, Malfoy's mind became fuzzy, and he fell asleep.....

"You have fallen into a dream, where you will learn the meaning of peace." Watching Malfoy gradually fall asleep, a trace of invisible weakness emerged the relieved whisper. "Well, very well, believe me, give me your soul, and I'll be happy to devour you..."

...

Ivan was hearing nothing once again, as the sound of the Acromantulas fighting the Stone Man gradually faded away.

As he explored the cave, thick white cobwebs began to appear on the rock walls.

They were like dust, covering the walls layer by layer.

Eventually, Ivan realized what it was like to walk through a dark spider cave. He kept looking behind him as if he felt that something was watching him in the darkness.

But there was nothing, and he was alone in the empty space.

The size of the cave was completely beyond their imagination, and the passage was wide and sometimes narrow.

A few minutes later, the ground began to slope again. Ivan did not know how many meters he went underground, and he still did not see Aragog.

In the warm wind, a milky white mist floated up from below.

"Show me the way!" Ivan put his wand in the palm of his hand and said softly.

The wand twirled a little and pointed in the direction Ivan was headed, indicating that he had not made a mistake.

He quickened his pace and timed it. Buckbeak should have already returned to the castle with Goyle and Crabbe, but he didn't even see Malfoy's shadow.

Crack...

Ivan seemed to hear something, about 50 meters ahead. After rounding a corner, the space in front of him suddenly lit up, and a subway space the size of the Quidditch pitch appeared in front of him.

Ahead, near the left side, there was a subway hot spring gushing upwards, which ran outwards and intermittently sprayed upwards a column of water over 15 meters high, looking very spectacular.

The temperature of the water was very high, and it collided with the cold rock wall to generate a thick fog.

This hot spring was the source of the warm wind and milky mist, and there were countless dark passages at the edge of the wall, through which the springs flowed.

Ivan took two steps forward. By the light of his wand, he saw clearly that the warm water was not flowing, but converging back into a large pool in the center of the cave.

This oval pool was very large, and its walls were covered with white spider silk.

Most striking were the white spheres floating in it, which looked like....
