Chapter 313: Kill it, Deep Underworld.

So it seemed that the origin of this affair was Ivan's fire.

Apparently, Aragog was filled with resentment towards both the incident and Ivan. He was shaking his large pincers at an unprecedented speed, and his whole body was trembling.

If he could, he would rush in now and rip him apart....

Ivan tightened his grip on his wand. It wasn't until Aragog regained his calm that he relaxed his guard.

He could understand Aragog's thoughts. In his opinion, he set hundreds of Acromantulas on fire and made things worse and worse.

However, the main cause was Aragog's belief in dark forces, bloodlust, cruelty and rebellion. He set himself on a path of self-destruction.

At that time, if he could keep his promise and let Ivan and Peter Pettigrew go, none of this would have happened. Aragog and his descendants could live in the Forbidden Forest as before, and continue to rely on the way of offering sacrifices to the unknown creature deep underground to continue their evil life.

Ivan snorted coldly and looked at the old spider in disgust. It was really unpleasant to survive by sacrificing the lives of others.

In a sense, Aragog in front of him was no different from the giant female Acromantula outside, and it had mutated into a monster.

However, he also knew that Aragog was not to blame for it.

He was a dark creature himself, he found it difficult to bind himself to human moral standards, let alone consider that what he had done was wrong.

Few people could accept death, and what they had to say could only be described by the arrangement of fate.

And Ivan could be sure that even without his own fire, the evil creature hidden in the depths of the earth would not be willing to surrender.

In the original story, Aragog lived on for many more days.

After his death, his descendants soon joined Voldemort's camp to participate in the final battle, but they did not know how Voldemort treated the creature.

Was it a direct extermination or some unknown secret?

Now that things had reached this point, there was no longer any point in thinking about it.

Ivan now only hoped that Aragog would do as he said, and not rush to settle a grudge with him to kill his descendants before eliminating their common enemy.

Of course, if he really wanted to do that, Ivan would not be afraid.

Looking at Aragog's current state, he was sure he could kill him with a single spell.

"His existence has always been a secret. Only I knew about it, I don't let children near here." Aragog waved his large pincers and said excitedly, "But from that day on, it grew louder and whispered throughout the lair. He began to elude me and take direct control of my children. I want to stop it, but nothing can be done. It stopped supplying me with energy. I have become extremely weak, aged, death is getting closer and closer to me. I can only stay here, alone."

A strong, cold wind blew from the deep well, and Aragog huddled like an old man on the verge of death, completely stripped of his former vigor as the Spider King.

Ivan was not confused by the sight before him. He silently raised his wand and pointed it at Aragog in the middle of the web. "Before I came here, I was in the great cave outside. I saw your wife with ten thousand Acromantula eggs..."

"My children!" Aragog replied feebly. "How are they? I haven't seen them for a long time since I was imprisoned here."

"Very bad. With the transformation of the dark forces, they can no longer be called Acromantulas. They have become monsters." Ivan narrowed his eyes and continued, "I can't let these monsters live in the Forbidden Forest, so I eliminated them. Swallowed by the Evil Fire, they will leave no ashes. I'm sorry, but I had to do it. Maybe Hagrid will find a way to help you find a new spouse."

Aragog didn't react when he heard Ivan.

He did not speak, and just lay there silently. His thoughts were unfamiliar.

In the darkness, Ivan held his breath, straightened his arm and held his wand, waiting for Aragog's choice.

He was ready to use magic. If Aragog did something wrong, he would kill him first, and then find a way to deal with the guy downstairs and save Malfoy.

"Like you said, they all mutated into monsters, not obeying my orders. They are no longer Acromantulas and must be eliminated..." Aragog said bitterly, "It's all because of what my children and I became what we are today, I vow to kill him, I want revenge."

"Very good, I'm glad you can have this kind of conscience." Ivan breathed a sigh of relief and continued. "Tell me your plan, what do you want me to do?"

"It's very simple, kill the thing below and help me get revenge!" Aragog stepped forward and his great pincers swung fiercely. "It's right down here, along with the human child. I don't know what has happened. He is extremely weak and now has little power. If you go down, you should be able to kill it easily..."

"How do I get down?" Ivan took another look at the deep pit beneath his feet. He was more aware than Aragog of the current state of the guy hiding in the depths of the earth. After he failed to cast a spell on Ivan, he suffered dire consequences.

The question now was how could he get to the bottom of this pit?

"My son can help you." Aragog's large pincers moved quickly as if to summon something.

A few seconds later, Ivan saw a blue-black Acromantula descending from above.

It slowly fell between him and Aragog, and as it approached, Ivan noticed a strand of spider silk dangling from its tail.

"It can help you get to the bottom of this deep well, Hagrid's friend. Click, click, click" Aragog said slowly, "After I kill that guy, it'll bring you and your partner up from below, and I'll give you an extra gift to thank you..."

Ivan looked suspiciously at the two Acromantulas in front of him. He wasn't expecting any gift from Aragog. He just hoped he wouldn't throw it out of the air.

Considering the nature of the Acromantulas, something like that was very likely to happen. He hesitated. The Acromantula hanging in the air was looking at him fiercely, and its eight black eyes glowed mischievously under the wand's light.

"I can come down, but you must accompany me." Ivan pulled a glass bottle filled with green liquid from his pocket.

He had learned a lesson since he had to carry a lot of magic books in the old Black family home at Christmas because he had no parcels.

Over the past few months, Ivan had been researching and trying. In the end, he finally managed to cast an Undetectable Spread Charm over a small area.

Although this spell was not perfect, it was usable.

Now, this small space was filled with magical books Ivan was recently studying, commonly used potions, and other everyday items.
