Chapter 390: Gabrielle and the Black Cat

Although at Hogwarts, he was often the center of attention and discussion, this was the first time Ivan experienced such a situation, being surrounded by a group of girls.

Occasionally, they would burst out laughing and speak in French that he didn't understand.

There were several bold girls who looked at Ivan fondly, their gaze conveying obvious messages.

Ivan, on the other hand, was quite shy.

If he wanted to, he could have a nice cozy conversation with one of them at any time.

That sounded good, especially since all of these girls were incredibly beautiful....

Ivan shook his head hurriedly and cleared his mind. Now was not the time to think about such things.

In general, this situation was not really suitable for staying to study magic. He had to walk back the way he came.

Behind him, more and more people were piling up.

Many of them came to see Ivan after being informed by their companions.

Ivan had a headache. These French girls were overzealous.

After a quick turn around a corner, he quickly muttered. His body began to shrink rapidly, turning into a black cat that jumped gently.

He watched with amusement as the students suddenly lost their aim and became perplexed. He wagged his tail and emerged from the crowd, ready to continue his tour of the campus.

Ivan planned to go to the library and check out the books here.

"Where did the Hogwarts boy go?"

"I don't know, he just turned this corner. There's no place to hide around here. He can't walk that fast either."

"I hear he's very strong. He defeated the basilisk, many dementors and the most evil dark wizard to clear Sirius Black's name..."

"We all know what you're talking about. He's just about the most mentioned wizard in the papers. Every few weeks, we get to see reports about him."

"Well, I mean... Would he turn invisible?"

"That's impossible. That spell is not allowed in schools. But maybe Hogwarts has a special unknown magic. That school is very strong. "

As the discussion continued, Ivan carefully crossed the crowd.

He decided to go back to studying a lot of French. Otherwise, he wouldn't understand what these people were saying.

They should be talking about him, and he didn't know if what they were saying was good or bad.

Just as he was about to leave, his body jerked abruptly.

On the outermost side of the crowd, Ivan found himself being picked up from behind.

He turned and saw a particularly beautiful girl, a few years younger than him, dressed in a pale blue wizard's robe.

She looked up at him with her blue eyes, and a mane of pure, silvery blonde hair.

"This black cat is so cute!" The girl smiled, her long eyelashes glistening up and down, as beautiful as an angel.

Without introduction, Ivan recognized this girl as Gabrielle Delacour.

She looked very much like a Veela, which was a very rare bloodline.

In Beauxbatons, it was reckoned that only she and her sister, Fleur, were like that; and they were very easy to identify.

Ivan struggled for a moment, trying to break free. Although he said he wanted to see Gabrielle, but meeting her this way was really a pity.

"Hey, stop being naughty!" Gabrielle ignored Ivan's struggle and held him tightly in her arms.

There was a soft moment in front of him, and Ivan didn't dare to really strain.

He could only let her embrace him and follow the crowd around him.

"Come on, Gabrielle!" A few minutes later, a girl next to him said with disappointment, "I don't know where that Ivan Mason went - he's not here anymore!"

"But I haven't seen him yet!" said Gabrielle.

"There's a welcome banquet tonight. You'll see him sooner or later." The girl took Gabrielle away. "Besides, wasn't your sister assigned by the principal to show that guy around campus? You can follow them. Remember to take me with you then."

They walked to the school as they chatted, and the subject naturally changed from Ivan to the black cat Gabrielle was holding.

"I've never seen this cat on campus!" The short brown-haired girl said, "Black cats are rare. In legend, they have strong magic. Maybe it's a mascot for seniors."

"In that case, I can go and ask my sister for help!" said Gabrielle, holding Ivan in front of her and looking into his eyes.

Ivan was immersed in the girl's beauty and felt his heart pounding.

His mind went blank, and he felt only extreme joy.

Everything in the world didn't matter as long as she could keep looking at him.

This feeling was only for a moment, and immediately, Ivan sobered up.

He knew this was because she was a Veela, who was magical in herself and had the power to make a woman irresistible.

Ivan let out a low mewl and turned his head away from Gabrielle.

He meant that she didn't have to go to the trouble of finding the owner, and just left him.

But Gabrielle returned to Ivan in her arms. In fact, at that moment, she also felt her heart beating faster.

The black cat in her arms seemed to have real magic. His eyes could reach the deepest part of the human heart. Gabrielle had never felt like this before.

"First go back to the common room. I'll get my sister's help, see you at dinner!" Gabrielle waved and ran in the other direction with Ivan in her arms.

Ivan didn't know what he wanted to do, but he was thinking about how to get out of this situation.

He meowed twice again. It seemed he couldn't leave this girl without using hard means. If he couldn't do that, he could go back to his human form.

That was embarrassing, but it was better than being seen by others.

Gabrielle ran for a while and stopped. She picked Ivan up again and said uncertainly. "Why do you keep meowing? are you hungry?"

Ivan couldn't understand what she was asking, and another meow was his answer.

Then he saw the little girl nodding a little, as if she understood something.

She led Ivan downstairs and ran into an empty classroom.

"I found it!" Gabrielle felt something behind her desk.

She pulled out a bottle of milk and swung at Ivan. "My sister gave it to me at breakfast, I forgot to drink it!"

Ivan watched silently as she poured milk into a carton and pushed it in front of him.

Seeing that Ivan didn't seem to want to drink, Gabrielle thought for a moment and lowered her head.

Being caught off guard, Ivan was splashed and covered in milk!

Gabrielle laughed, let go of Ivan and drank the other half of the milk bottle.

Her mouth was stained with milky white spots, and she picked up Ivan, who was wiping his face, his arms bunching closer and closer.

Looking at him, it seemed that since Ivan, the black cat, was too cute, she couldn't help but move closer to him and kiss him.
