Chapter 395: The House of Courage

Ivan held up his wand and looked at the students around him. They all stepped back unconsciously. There was no sound in the Great Hall. Only the boy was screaming on the floor.

Everyone was amazed at what Ivan had just done.

No one thought this skinny 12-year-old Hogwarts boy would be so strong.

When a senior told them that Ivan might have used a non-verbal spell and they began to get a picture of his true strength, the crowd was even more amazed.

Several students who had just laughed at Ivan had a hint of fear on their faces.

As a guest, Ivan represented Hogwarts, and they intended to attack him to belittle Hogwarts and highlight the strength of Beauxbatons.

Everything went according to plan tonight, but no one thought Ivan would be so strong.

It was amazing that a twelve year old wizard's level of magic control and spellcasting skills were greater than most adult wizards.

The admiration was there for only a moment. After a brief commotion, there were still a few boys standing, shouting in French to the crowd.

After hearing the shouts, many people pulled out their wands and pointed them at Ivan.

With more and more people doing the same, the mood became more tense.

The rest of the guys, even the undecided ones, pulled out their wands under the encouragement of their peers.

Whether it was their responsibility or not, and no matter how powerful Ivan was, Beauxbatons pride could not be trampled by a foreign student.

Ivan must have an account and he must apologize.

If they did nothing, simply let Ivan leave the Great Hall, then Beauxbatons would become a joke, and it wouldn't be long before the news would spread throughout the wizarding world.

By then, the magical school would have lost its reputation and would have retained no honor.

The noise in the crowd was getting louder and louder, and Ivan heard someone curse at him in bad

bad English, saying something he didn't understand.

"They're not very friendly!" Ivan waved his wand in his hand, as if disappointed.

"This bunch of cowards is calling for everyone to unite and fight for the glory of Beauxbatons!" Fleur said lightly, "They want you to apologize, to bow your head and admit your mistake."

"Beauxbatons hospitality is really special. I've seen it today. First, it was a sneak attack, and then, are you ready for a massive attack?" Ivan said.

"I don't want this to happen. Madame Maxime asked me to look after you." Fleur frowned and said, "But I think you'd better apologize, no matter who is right or wrong. After all, you attacked a student at Beauxbatons and you have to..."

Ivan blinked when she stopped talking, so it seemed that Fleur was not on his side.

Judging by her reaction, she must have known before, but she didn't stop him. She didn't want to look ridiculous with him.

"I don't think I can apologize." said Ivan firmly. "He attacked me first, but I was too weak. I don't see why I have to apologize."

"Are you crazy?" said Fleur in astonishment. "Just apologize. You know, you're in front of all of Beauxbatons, there are hundreds of young wizards here!"

"Like you just said, a bunch of cowards." Ivan sneered, "If these wizards have no courage, even if there are more of them, I see nothing to fear. They are no adversaries of mine."

"You are, you are completely mad!" said Fleur incredulously.

She hadn't expected Ivan to agree to go against all of Beauxbatons.

"If you've learned about Hogwarts, you'll know that our school is divided into four houses, representing the four qualities of a wizard." Ivan looked up and smiled at Fleur, "And I'm from Gryffindor, the House of Courage. No matter what enemy we face, Gryffindor students have no fear."

When Ivan finished, the wand in his hand turned around and at the end a few bright sparks flew out.

Although there were hundreds of people on the opposite side, he was not afraid at all.

In fact, such battles were not uncommon at Hogwarts.

In the past two years, Ivan couldn't remember how many clashes had taken place between Gryffindor and Slytherin.

Even Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff students were involved in the fiercest battles, which evolved from small-scale battles to large-scale school-wide fights.

The last one was over the Weasley twins making a mess with their stink bombs!

Ivan had never been afraid of such things.

If it wasn't for the cursed Curse on his wrist that limited magic, he'd even try to sweep all of Beauxbatons with his current strength.

"Hogwarts... Gryffindor... The House of Courage..." Fleur repeated softly, looked at Ivan for a moment, and smiled in awe. "If you insist, I can't help you, but I will make sure your life is safe. After all, it's Maxime de Madame's mission for me - good luck, young man!"

She waved to Ivan and turned to walk softly toward the door of the Great Hall.

Ivan saw Gabrielle, who was standing in the middle of the crowd, anxious but frightened by hundreds of people. He hurried to Fleur's side. They seemed to be arguing about something.

Gabrielle should probably speak for him. She would turn her head and look at him from time to time.

Her precious little face was full of worry, but no matter what she said, Fleur kept shaking her head, and in the end the little girl even burst into tears.

The next second, Gabrielle turned and wanted to go in Ivan's direction, but was stopped by a ready Fleur, who forcibly pulled her out of the Great Hall.

The atmosphere in the Great Hall was at its peak, and Fleur and Gabrielle's departure was a sign.

Perhaps it was Ivan's indifference that most affected some of the students' sensitive nerves. The crowd at Beauxbatons grew more and more agitated and shouted louder and louder, though no one dared look at Ivan.

But at the instigation of several people, the situation quickly got out of control.

Without warning, more than a dozen red lights flew through the crowd toward Ivan.

Ivan dodged. He quickly tapped the chairs in front of him with his wand. The chairs

flew over him, blocking his spells.

Immediately, the chairs shattered into pieces and splinters of wood splattered.

Ivan did not hesitate. Before the second attack, he waved his wand at a huge table not far away and quickly read a spell.

The hundred-meter-long table tipped over to sweep through the crowd.

The long table rumbled, which was the limit of the magical control Ivan could currently use.

In the past, he could have transformed this long table into a monster like a troll, but now his current magic could not withstand that kind of highly draining spell.

But this was enough. The Beauxbatons students were on their feet, and they did not expect Ivan to do this. Watching the table hissing from the side, many people were so frightened that they stood there, even forgetting to wave their wands.

Boom, bang, bang, bang, bang!!!!

With a violent impact, many people were hit and fled.

Shouts and screams came and went. Under the violent impact, many people could not stand up.

Ivan waved his wand frequently, and the long table went crazy! It quickly rolled and rolled in the wide Beauxbatons Great Hall, sweeping through the crowd.

Everything was hit by him, and a large amount of food, plates, knives and forks that had not been removed became sharp weapons, dripping everywhere!
