Chapter 438: Expansion of the store's commercial reach

Ivan could be sure that if he were Mr. Dursley, looking at this situation, he would be crying now.

It was conceivable that the Dusleys would never ever welcome wizards into their living room in the future.

All they heard was a loud BANG!

The Dursleys' blocked fireplace burst open, and the electric heater went off all over the room.

Then Mr. Weasley, Fred, George and Ron were ejected in a cloud of debris.

The scene was quite shocking. Ivan, Harry and Hermione looked at them with wide eyes.

They all opened their mouths and gasped in surprise.

Dudley howled all the way from the living room and ran to his room.

Even louder than him was the shriek of Mrs. Dursley, who fell backwards onto the coffee table.

Mr. Dursley reached out and caught her hand before she fell to the floor, and gasped, speechless, at the Weasleys, all of whom were dressed as wizards and had bright red hair.

Fred and George, the twins were as if they were completely carved from the same mold, and were identical to the last freckle.

"Hello, Ivan, Harry, Hermione!" Mr. Weasley gasped, dusting off his long green robe and straightening his glasses. Seeing the Dursleys in front of him, he said, "Ah, you must be Harry's aunt and uncle!"

Mr. Weasley approached the Dursleys, his hand outstretched.

But Mr. Dursley backed away several steps, dragging Mrs. Dursley, his face full of horror.

They were completely speechless. Mr. Dursley's best suit was covered with white powder and he looked very embarrassed.

The same was true of his hair and mustache, which made him look as if he had just aged thirty years.

"Oh, yes, sorry." Mr. Weasley said in embarrassment, lowering his hand and turning to look at the damn fireplace. "It's all my fault. It didn't occur to me that we couldn't come out the other side."

Mr. Dursley groaned loudly. He looked as if he might run up to Mr. Weasley at any moment.

"Oh, you know, I had your chimney connected to the Floo Network, you see, just for one afternoon, so we could go through it. Muggle fireplaces aren't supposed to be connected, strictly speaking. But I have a useful contact at the Floo Network Regulation Panel and he fixed it for me. I can fix it in a jiffy, though, don't worry. I'll light a fire to send the kids back, and then I can fix your chimney before I Apparate."

Mr. Weasley said these words casually, as if nothing had happened, which seemed normal to the wizard.

But to the Dursleys, every word Mr. Weasley said was shocking.

They all stared at Mr. Weasley, as if they had heard the most terrible thing in the world.

Mrs. Dursley staggered and hid behind Mr. Dursley.

"All right, don't be nervous!" Mr. Weasley reassured him and turned to look at Ivan, Harry and Hermione. "Ivan, Hermione, your luggage was delivered to our house this morning. Harry, do you have your trunk ready?"

"Packed, upstairs!" Harry said with a smile.

"We'll get it!" Fred immediately volunteered. Winking at Harry, he and George left the room.

"I'll go check, they might not know where your room is!" Harry stepped forward to accompany them but Ivan hurried." No, Harry, you and Hermione stay here with your uncle and aunt so you don't have to be so nervous."

Ivan left the room and ran upstairs.

But when he arrived, Fred and George were trying to get into Dudley's room.

Dudley desperately hid behind the door, screaming like a pig.

"Harry's room isn't there, you two are going to the wrong place!" Ivan rushed to stop them.

"Long time no see, Ivan!" Fred said with a grin. "We know this isn't Harry's room."

He walked over and gave Ivan a warm hug.

"We just wanted to surprise Harry's cousin, but he doesn't seem to welcome us," George said.

Seizing this opportunity, Dudley shouted and ran out of his room and down the stairs.

"What a surprise?!" looking behind Dudley's back, Ivan asked uncertainly, "What did you do to him?"

"I just gave him something!" George said with a grin. "You know, Ivan? we've both made great progress this summer!"

"What the hell is going on?!" Ivan didn't understand what they were talking about.

The main purpose of their follow-up was to keep Fred and George from playing pranks on Dudley and further triggering the Dursleys' fragile nerves.

But Dudley ran downstairs, and looking at Fred and George's smiling faces, they had obviously succeeded!

"Of course it's a joke product Weasley. We sold all the stuff we left in their store. In fact, it was a great success!" Fred said excitedly. "We made a lot of Gallons, and Professor Lupin sent us all of them."

"This way, we have enough funds for research!" George said, patting Ivan on the shoulder. "We had good ideas before. We both researched and produced specific products during the vacations. Now, after testing, we can put them into practice!"

It turned out that they were talking about this, and it was a real pleasure.

In fact, this summer, after coming into contact with alchemy, Ivan had more novel ideas.

He intended to talk to Fred and George about it, too, and put all the ideas in his head into practice.

It wasn't just the magical props used for pranks. According to Ivan's idea, after adding alchemy, they could make more magical props with stronger magical power and that are more practical.

By then, the scope of the store's business could be extended from young wizards to the entire wizarding world.

Ivan had studied it carefully, and as long as they worked properly, they would undoubtedly achieve unimaginable success.

With the help of alchemy, the goods they would produce and sell would no longer be limited to joke products.

It could also include all kinds of life magic accessories and even dueling equipment to resist evil black magic.

These protective magic items had always been popular, but the actual supply was very small.

As long as they could be mass produced, Ivan's store might even become a business giant in the world of magic.

Fred and George were talented enough in this field. Ivan would only be responsible for the design of the magic accessories.

"Come on, Ivan!" Fred urged, picking up Harry's trunk, "Don't let me and them wait too long downstairs."

"Yeah, I can't wait!" George said, the grin on his face more obvious.

They both laughed and dragged Ivan away.

Obviously, they must have done something to Dudley, and now they wanted Ivan to watch the show.

Whatever it was, Ivan just hoped things didn't get that bad.
