Chapter 471: Exhausted physically and mentally

Within ten minutes, two young girls had crowded into the small room, one of whom had not yet dressed.

Ivan didn't want to say anything, feeling exhausted.

He had never felt so tired and exhausted physically and mentally as he did now.

He would rather challenge an angry dragon than face two troublesome girls.

The knock on the door brought him back to reality, and Ivan didn't dare imagine Hermione standing in the doorway.

What he needed to consider now was, where to hide Gabrielle?!

The bathroom was definitely no good. As for the bed, there was no need to mention it.

There was only a small closet left in the room.

With Gabrielle's body being so small, it shouldn't be a problem to hide her there.

The question was how to explain to her why he wanted her to come in and hide.

Since Gabrielle came in, Ivan's actions had been very, very abnormal and aroused her suspicions.

If he told her that by an accident the visitor who had arrived before her was hiding in the bathroom, and in order not to be discovered by others, she also had to find a place to hide, that should be the end of their friendship....

Ivan wouldn't even be surprised if he was locked up in Azkaban the next day.

"Ivan, is anyone out there?" Gabrielle whispered. Her face was red and strange.

After Ivan grabbed her hand, why did he stop in his tracks? Also, why did he suddenly grab her tighter when someone knocked on the door?

Because they were too close now, she could feel Ivan's breath.

Gabrielle's heart was pounding and many ideas popped into her mind.

She felt her palms sweating and wanted to pull them out, but Ivan squeezed them tightly.

Gabrielle couldn't help but think of the usual memory of her sister, and her private conversations with her friends, and her face was getting redder.

There was no doubt that she liked Ivan, but wasn't that too fast?!

She wasn't sure if she should shout out loud if Ivan suddenly made any unexpected moves towards her.

The girl's slender, slippery hands were very comfortable to hold, but Ivan didn't have the heart to feel it.

Knock knock knock knock. there was another knock at the door!

"Yes, who is it?" Ivan said. In the end, he didn't get Gabrielle into the closet.

"It's me, Master Ivan!" Kreacher's stiff voice came in.

Hearing that it was Kreacher outside, and not Hermione, Ivan breathed a sigh of relief.

He hurried to open the door and saw old Kreacher standing respectfully with a tray.

There were three drinks and some beautiful pastries on it.

"Master Ivan, old Kreacher has prepared drinks and cakes for you, do you need anything else?!" Kreacher whispered. "Dinner is chicken, ham and boiled potatoes, but Kreacher doesn't know the two ladies... (you already showed us off!)"

"They won't eat here!" Ivan whispered, "Give me the plate and don't come back if I don't call you!"

He looked at Kreacher, closed the door again and returned to the room with the drinks.

"This is a drink prepared for us by the house elf. Just warm milk!" he said to Gabrielle, whose face was red.

"Oh!" Gabrielle said, then wondered, "Why are there three cups?"

"That's because.... " Ivan said slowly. "When I drink milk, I'm used to drinking two cups."

In the room, the two drank slowly, each with their own thoughts, and no one spoke.

Elaine, soaking in the water, listened nervously to the noise outside, only to feel the water getting colder and colder.

She tried to stand up and walk to the door, trying to listen to the sound outside.

Inside the room, the strange atmosphere continued.

"Ivan, I, I, I..." said Gabrielle hesitantly, stirring her cup of hot milk.

Her older sister's words rang in her ears again. 'If you meet a nice boy you like, you must take the initiative .... '

"I... "Gabrielle blushed and her voice became lower and lower.

She was going to take the initiative, as her sister said, but she was actually very nervous.

Just as Gabrielle was about to blurt everything out, a thud came from the bathroom.

Elaine accidentally fell, and it was terribly painful, but she didn't dare scream.

She covered her mouth with her little hand and tears welled up in her eyes, as if she had been miserably bullied....

Outside, Gabrielle stopped and stared at the bathroom in astonishment.

Ivan stood up and panicked. He didn't know what Elaine was doing inside - couldn't she just lie down in the water?

At this rate, sooner or later she would die of fright.

"Maybe, maybe something fell in!" Ivan smiled bitterly.

It didn't matter whether Gabrielle believed it or not, nor how clumsy the excuse was.

He had no intention of pursuing this matter any further. He really couldn't. He had to take Gabrielle out directly.

She turned around and looked at Gabrielle dumbfounded.

Because she was so nervous, Gabrielle spilled milk over her body at the loud noise a moment ago.

The white, viscous liquid, ran down her slender body....

"No, I'm sorry, I'll fix it!" Gabrielle said and was rushing to the bathroom.

"Don't go, I have a way!" Ivan shouted loudly and in a hurry.

He was already going crazy, wanting to cry without tears. If Gabrielle really went into the bathroom, it would all be over.

Ivan pulled out his wand as fast as he could. He should have done it a long time ago.

The laws of secrecy and the regulations that forbade underage wizards to use magic outside of school were now completely irrelevant.

He just wanted to solve these problems, get the two girls out, lie in bed and get a good night's sleep.

Ivan turned on his wand and a red light swirled around Gabrielle.

The milk stains on her clothes quickly disappeared and were quickly wiped away.

"Ivan?" Gabrielle looked at him in surprise.

"Gabrielle, you have to come back, or your sister will worry!" Ivan said hastily, interrupting her. "This semester, Hogwarts will be hosting the Triwizard Tournament. If there's anything we'll talk about it then.... Let's leave now!"

He added emphasis to the last sentence to remind Elaine in the bathroom.

Then, regardless of Gabrielle's consent or disagreement, he led her outside.

In Ivan's hand, the wand lit a white fluorescence, the magic continued and a light mist surrounded them.

No matter how loud their voices were, no sound was really coming, and no one would be alarmed.

Outside the tent, the storm had stopped, and Ivan and Gabrielle parted.

The girl's face flushed and she seemed to want to say something to him.

Ivan, who was very nervous, just nodded his head and didn't hear the details clearly.

Anyway, whatever it was, he had only one thought: send her away as soon as possible!

Seeing Ivan nod, Gabrielle breathed a sigh of relief, a new smile reappeared on her face, and she was suddenly very happy.

She walked over and gave Ivan a gentle hug, said goodbye and turned away.

Ivan kept smiling and waving until Gabrielle disappeared before returning to his room as quickly as he could.
