Chapter 483: Ivan VS Caresius

"We're saved!" Harry said with delight.

"I can't believe it, it's Krum - he actually came down to save us!" Ron shouted excitedly.

In the box, everyone was immersed in the commotion and joy brought by the arrival of Krum and other Quidditch athletes.

Seeing how happy Harry and Ron were to see Krum, one would not guess that they were in such a crisis.

Krum was sadder than what they saw in his portrait. He looked very confused and his face was covered in blood.

The two dark circles around his eyes were very conspicuous, and the Golden Snitch was still in his hand.

He landed heavily on the ground and his movements didn't look as coordinated.

His legs were a little apart and his shoulders were clearly slouching forward.

"What the hell is going on? why...?!" Krum asked.

Before he could finish, Ivan abruptly interrupted him. "Get on the broomsticks and get out of here! Hurry up."

Ivan asked them all to hurry up. Now was not the time for small talk.

He sensed that Caresius was already close to the box, and he could feel his powerful and dangerous magic.

The Quidditch players who had just landed hadn't noticed the situation, but under Ivan's urging, they made room for Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Fred and George to get on their brooms.

Everyone was about to spring into action, but Ivan's face changed greatly.

"Damn, it's too late!" he gasped and raised his wand.

Under everyone's shocked eyes, Ivan quickly turned around and a white shield emerged from the tip of his wand.

The next second, there was a loud bang and the whole box shook.

In the violent explosion, the chairs attached to the door by Ivan, along with the door, became fragments going everywhere, like a bullet fired blindly.

Ivan's shield was burning with the waves, like those made by stones falling into a calm lake. All the fragments were blocked and fell to the ground.

The smoke gradually dissipated and the figure of Caresius appeared in front of everyone.

As before, he wore a black cloak, on which there was not a trace of dust.

With a simple white mask on his face, he entered gracefully, like an aristocrat invited to a costume party.

"Good evening, everyone!" Caresius whispered, bowing slightly with etiquette.

His eyes wandered over everyone's faces, lingered on Ivan for a few seconds, then quickly moved away.

Finally, they landed on Harry, and the vampire nodded in satisfaction.

Harry took a step back and covered his forehead. He felt his scar ache.

"I'm sorry to interrupt your party. Please believe me, I feel the same discomfort being here tonight." Caresius said slowly. "Then let me finish our problem quickly, I think the stun spell is a good choice. "

"You guys get out quickly. No matter what happens, don't turn around!" Ivan shouted.

The light at the end of his wand grew stronger and stronger and the powerful spells were ready to be released from both sides.

As soon as Caresius moved, Ivan would not hesitate.

"Interesting, you seem to think you can stop me?!" Caresius would look at Ivan with interest, as if he had found a new toy.

"The only way we both know I can, is if I try." Ivan gasped.

Under the pressure of his opponent's powerful magic, his spirit was very much on guard.

In the next second, without any warning, a dark blue light shot out from Ivan's wand.

Down it went, down to the remains of the chairs on the floor.

The debris quickly twisted and warped, turning into dozens of glowing daggers that flew towards Caresius.

Caresius did not move. He stood in place and looked at Ivan with interest.

When everyone thought Ivan's magic was successful, his figure disappeared in a strange way.

Like a small black hole, Caresius was swallowed by the light around him, leaving only a black shadow.

Ivan's blue spell passed through the place where Caresius was standing and landed on the ground.

In the crunch, the thick floor and underlying tiles corroded rapidly. Soon, there was a hole through which the next floor below could be seen.

The power of this magic made everyone gasp.

"Not bad, your magic is progressing quickly," Caresius said. His figure appeared out of nowhere behind Ivan, as if he had already been there. "But the skills still need to be improved. That's not how you use magic."

Ivan gasped and turned around quickly.

Obviously, apparition wasn't allowed here. He didn't know how the vampire did it.

But vampires obviously had a lot of strange magic, which was not the same as that of ordinary mages.

He saw Caresius sweeping his wand. There was a metallic clang. Eerie red chains suddenly erupted from the ground, entangling Harry, who was in a hurry to get on a broomstick.

Several of them screamed loudly, but the red chains were getting tighter and tighter.

This was a vampire-specific binding spell, one once used by Elaine on Ivan.

He knew that the more he struggled, the tighter he would be bound by the chain.

With a few of them wrapping around him, Harry couldn't break free. Things didn't seem to be going well.

Ivan quickly waved his wand and all the remains of the box, including the trophy, floated up.

They lined up in a row, like meteors, and quickly ran towards Caresius.

"As I just said, your tricks are useless against me," Caresius said with a frown.

Once again, his shadow disappeared from his spot, avoiding Ivan's attack. What he was using was unique, something Ivan had never seen before.

But the latter seemed to have anticipated that..... He gasped and ran as fast as he could and approached the stands next to his friends.

In front of him, the figure of Caresius slowly appeared from the air.

He had barely wanted to speak when he suddenly stopped.

He looked down and was surprised to see that the ground beneath his feet had become a swamp.

Ivan's tactic worked; Caresius was sinking rapidly and his movements slowed.

Whoop, whoop, whoop....

A huge circle of golden fireballs appeared in the air above Caresius' head, bringing searing heat to the small box.

Supported by all of Ivan's magic, these fireballs could melt even steel - if they even grazed Caresius, they would do great damage!

"How about this way?" Ivan asked, panting, before waving his wand quickly!
