Chapter 514: Crazy Eye Moody

In a sudden change, Ivan was particularly banned from participating in the Triwizard Tournament by two other wizarding schools.

This was the second accident after the fake Moody's name could not be marked on the marauder's map tonight.

It was too sudden, but it seemed reasonable.

Ivan's previous appearance at the World Cup was too important. Whether it was his duel with Caresius or the magical transformation of the main stadium building into a giant, it was beyond the imagination of most wizards.

His reputation had spread throughout the European wizarding world and continued to spread abroad.

Whatever the idea, Ivan's power had been recognized by the public, and now some were even saying that he was Dumbledore's successor.

Especially considering his age, the sky was the limit for Ivan's future. This was good news for Hogwarts and the British wizarding community, but bad news for other countries and forces.

If Ivan became Hogwarts champion to participate in the Triwizard Tournament, the champion of Beauxbatons and Durmstrang would not stand a chance. They would not be able to defeat Ivan no matter what.

The so-called "Triwizard Tournament" would become a stage for Ivan to show his strength.

Beauxbatons and Durmstrang did not want this to happen. They mentioned Ivan by name to be excluded from the competition. And they gave a good reason. Ivan was under 17 and did not meet the requirement. In fact, he was now only 13 years old.

This age limit was originally intended to protect young wizards who lacked strength and to avoid losing their lives in vain.

Now it was used to exclude Ivan from competition, and there was nothing wrong with that. Hogwarts and the British Ministry of Magic could not refute.

Because this competition was to be held at Hogwarts, Beauxbatons and Durmstrang would hold primaries for aged students and bring them to Hogwarts.

Dumbledore, on the other hand, would be responsible for restricting wizards under the age of 17.

Ivan knew what magic he would use and had a way to work it out.

Dumbledore naturally knew that, so he needed Ivan's assurance that he would never enter the competition.

In fact, Ivan had no interest in the so-called Triwizard Tournament. But if he didn't enter the competition, how could he enter with Harry without attracting Voldemort's attention?

No, in the end, he had to enter that maze and touch the trophy with Harry... Or think of a better way to finish off Voldemort, who would have successfully regained his strength....

Looking into Dumbledore's bright blue eyes, Ivan nodded slowly.

Dumbledore should have guessed Voldemort's plan by now, what plan did he have to deal with it?!

Dumbledore seemed reluctant to discuss the subject further, perhaps because of the presence of the fake Moody or because he had his own considerations.

When he saw that Ivan agreed, he asked him to return to bed as soon as possible.

After leaving the Great Hall, Ivan walked alone down the dimly lit corridor, thinking about it in his head.

"It's not fair. They can't exclude wizards from the competition because of their strength. Those weak cowards play by these means!" Moody's hoarse voice sounded behind Ivan, and he followed him out of the auditorium.

"It's always been like this, they .... "

"Professor, the rules must be obeyed!" Ivan turned to Moody and said to his mild surprise, "I'm not really seventeen, and of course I shouldn't break the rules and play.... Dumbledore doesn't want that to happen either."

"Humph, students taught by Dumbledore, you are too idealistic. Those people don't think like you." Moody said disdainfully, "I've seen too many dark wizards, if you have such naive ideas..."

"Beauxbatons and Durmstrang are not dark wizards!" said Ivan.

"Never judge easily by outward appearance. You don't know the past of those people at all. Always keep your wits about you!" Moody's magical eye turned. Looking at Ivan, with a hint of haunting in his voice, he said, "Kid, be honest, do you want to compete or not?"

Ivan looked at Moody, and a strange thought rose in his heart.

This fake Moody was really abnormal, why would he come to tell him this?

Looking at him, he seemed to be enticing him to secretly participate in the Triwizard Tournament.

But why would he do this? What good would it do Voldemort?!

Did the fake Moody want to get him and Harry out of the school?!

Or was it that Voldemort hadn't given up on his Philosopher's Stone yet?

"It doesn't matter whether or not I want to be in.... I've already promised the Headmaster and I must keep it. " said Ivan quietly, "Professor, you're not encouraging me to participate in the competition secretly, are you?"

Moody's figure was completely hidden in the darkness that the torches could not dispel, and Ivan could not see the expression on his face.

It took him a long time to say in a hoarse voice, "Of course not.... I only came to test you. Dumbledore spoke very highly of you. Now I don't think you disappoint me. A qualified wizard must have his own bottom line."

Ivan did not respond, and there was a silence between the two people.

If it was really Mad-Eye Moody who said that, Ivan might believe it, but knowing that the man in front of him was a fake...!

They walked back down the dark hallway, and Moody's office was on the second floor.

From the fake Moody standing next to him, Ivan sensed the danger ahead.

"I received a letter from Lupin and Black a few days ago. They presented the current progress of the Defense Against the Dark Arts course." Moody said suddenly, "You seem to have learned how to deal with dark magical creatures and have mastered many basic skills."

"Yes, Professors Lupin and Sirius taught us a lot." Said Ivan.

"Very good, but this is not enough, not enough!" Moody said, limping forward, "I think you need to learn how to deal with dark magic, I'll give you a sample of spells cast among dark wizards."

"Dark magic?" Ivan turned to look at him.

"You should know that enchantments come in many forms, and their magic varies. According to the Ministry of Magic, it should teach you to break all sorts of spells, that's all. " Moody said, "According to them, you're not even in sixth year yet. The school shouldn't tell you what illegal dark magic spells are like, because you're too young and wouldn't handle it. But in my opinion, the sooner you know what to do with them, the better. How can you protect yourself from something you've never seen before? When a magician is about to use an illegal spell, they won't tell you what they're about to do; they won't read their spell to you frankly, fairly and politely. He will just... "

"Professor, do you intend to teach us the Unforgivable Curses?!" Ivan said.

"Not teach them, just show you what real dark magic is like." Moody said, "I'm sure they'll like this course..."
