Not only had the surrounding walls disappeared, but the whole temple!
Ivan was not simply floating now, but in a strange space.
The old building left by the ancient sorcerers was no longer visible here, and the boundaries between reality and magic were blurring.
The magical vortex was still in motion around Ivan and the Book of Abraham, with the stone platform as its center.
Numerous swirls of light mist, formed by floating blue magic runes and ancient magic texts, were rolling, and the Philosopher's Stone was providing them with powerful magic as a support, forming this entire space and finally converging on The Book of Abraham.
In the face of such power, Ivan deeply felt his weakness.
The power of today's magicians in the face of the mighty magic of the ancient sorcerers was as ridiculous as ants facing a giant.
The power of this magic in its full state totally exceeded Ivan's expectations, and could only be described as shocking and amazing.
He looked around in disbelief and immersed himself in this power to the fullest.
In the distance, the deep darkness continued to spread outward, seemingly without end.
The constantly surging magical power not only built this space, but also formed a strong cage at the same time.
Being trapped in this cage, without any power, and unable to go anywhere; this was the essence of this magic "Silence". This was a protection spell that was completely beyond the comprehension of ordinary people.
It would take unimaginable forces to build a space independent of the real world.
The will of the ancient sorcerers to keep something trapped in this space was absolute, and nothing could challenge it.
Ivan did not know that the power of magic could reach such intensity.
He floated in silence, feeling that he had touched the source of this magical power.
The words of the Book of Abraham were recorded very quickly, and before he knew it, all the floating magical symbols were absorbed.
At that moment, Ivan returned to the ruins and slowly dropped down.
He looked at the thick Book of Abraham in his hand and, still immersed in the strong magical power.
Ivan carefully understood the sensation and seemed to have grasped something, but it was not clear at the time.
Undoubtedly, the harvest of this exploration was very great, far beyond Ivan's expectations.
Bang, bang, bang!
A loud, continuous noise woke Ivan up. He raised his head and looked around.
The stone platform in front of him had broken into several pieces, and all the ruins were collapsing in a large area, and large chunks of debris were falling from above.
The surrounding walls and floor were also full of cracks, which were rapidly expanding at a speed visible to the naked eye.
Under the impact of strong magical power, this ancient building was about to be destroyed.
If he didn't want to be buried alive here, he had to flee.
"Damn it!" Ivan did not hesitate. He grabbed the Philosopher's Stone, turned around and ran backwards.
Now, all the ruins were shaking steadily. Boulders were falling and walls were cracking and crumbling. The magnificent stone pillars were falling one by one. Gullies leading to the abyss appeared on the ground. It was a totally apocalyptic scene.
Ivan ran forward as fast as he could. He had never run so fast before.
The space inside the ruins was too big. He was exhausted, but he dared not stop.
He kept waving his wand in his hand, emitting dazzling red lights, hitting the large stones on the path ahead of him.
This was not only a test of physical strength, but also a magical and spiritual test.
Faced with huge chasms, Ivan gasped and blasted a gigantic fallen pillar with Wingardium Leviosa.
He moved this huge stone pillar, which weighed a hundred tons, without thinking about its size or what it was made of.
Ivan mobilized the magic of his entire body to move it down the ravine. He wiped the sweat from his forehead without thinking about fear.... He had no time for fear!
Looking at the crumbling ground behind him, he hurried up with his hands and feet.
On both sides of Ivan, there was a deep bottomless abyss. With the trembling of the ruins, the pillars were constantly shaking and could collapse at any moment.
If he fell into the abyss, there would be no chance of survival.
He tried not to think about these things, eyes fixed straight ahead, and rushed forward.
As Ivan ran, the cracks in the ground widened.
He turned his head in fear. The stone pillars behind him were falling into the abyss, making a series of terrible noises.
A few minutes later, as he gasped and rushed into the hut that served as the Manticore's lair, Buckbeak was standing on a pile of bones, incessantly flapping his wings, and all the Fire Crabs and Skinks were running about restlessly.
This place was not as crumbling as the ruin room, but the cracks in the walls were evident.
Ivan rolled over and climbed onto Buckbeak and lay down on top of him, running out of strength.
He felt as if he had returned to the forest with Buckbeak when the light shone again. The breeze blew, giving him the feeling of coming back to life.
A burst of black light flashed and Caresius appeared behind Ivan and landed on Buckbeak.
Ivan looked at him enviously. If he could appear, he wouldn't have had to try so hard.
"What did you do down there?" asked Caresius.
"Nothing!" replied Ivan, propping himself up and sitting down.
He couldn't tell the vampire about the evil god, the Philosopher's Stone, the powerful magic the ancient sorcerers had left behind, or the Book of Abraham. But looking at Caresius, it seemed he had no intention of getting an answer from him anyway.
Ivan raised his head and looked down.
Since he was too far away, the Manticore had become a small black dot.
Caresius gently waved his wand and released magical control of it.
Freed from the chains, the Manticore roared into the sky a few times and turned back to its lair.
Not long after it had descended, there was a terrible and tremendous echo.
Boom!!!
It could clearly be seen that the entire ground was deeply caved in, and this ancient relic was completely destroyed.
Buckbeak flew several times overhead and headed back to the castle.
More than half an hour later, they returned to the edge of the Forbidden Forest.
"Don't ever call me for such a thing again!" said Caresius coldly.
He didn't care about Ivan's condition. He jumped off Buckbeak's back, pulled out a flask and drank twice.
In the blink of an eye, Caresius' body was back to Moody's appearance.
He placed the magic eye in his eye socket, and the electric blue eyeball swirled wildly inside.
He turned to look at Ivan and hurried out of the Forbidden Forest.
