Sirius did not let them return until it was getting dark.
Before leaving, Ivan looked for an opportunity to talk to Sirius alone.
He also asked him about the vampires' recent and frequent activities, but Sirius didn't know much.
"Obviously, from the information we have, they must be looking for something in those ruins. But I don't think they've found anything. The ancient wizard ruins are very old, and have been explored countless times by wizards over thousands of years. There shouldn't be anything valuable left. As for the relics where magic still works, anyone who rushes into them is only looking for death."
"Well, other than that, is there any progress with Barty Crouch?" Ivan asked.
He suspected that Barty Crouch Jr. was impersonating his father, Mr. Crouch, an identity very beneficial to Voldemort.
Mr. Crouch had high status in the Ministry of Magic and could draw on many resources.
More importantly, he was responsible for planning all the tasks for the Triwizard Tournament, making it much easier for him to set up any traps.
"There's no progress with that, but it's really abnormal. He hasn't been at the Ministry of Magic for a while. You'd better be careful. I know what you mean, but again, considering Crouch's identity, we can't verify it at the moment, and if that man is pretending to be Barty Crouch and is not at Hogwarts, how can he make sure things on this side of the school are as expected, once there is any accident.... "
That was precisely Caresius' role. He received a note from Barty Crouch Jr. asking him to do what he could to help Ron.
Obviously, Barty Crouch Jr. had no intention of going all out from the start. Naturally, he didn't want things to go too far.
"I'll come and watch the tournament when it starts. When something happens, don't be too hasty." Sirius warned anxiously. "I know you're very strong, but against Voldemort, I'm sure you alone won't be enough."
"I know, and this applies to you as well. Don't always think of rushing in alone." Ivan sighed. How worried both he and Sirius were. "By the way, do you have any acquaintances in the Department of Magical Transportation?"
"What for?!"
"So they can help me sign up for the Apparition License test and override the Ministry's supervision over me," Ivan said, "It's too much trouble not to use Apparition!"
"But you're not of age yet..."
"I know, that's why I'm asking you to help me." Said Ivan quickly, "I've mastered this magic completely, but because of the Ministry's surveillance, I can't use it at all.
This magic and the skills related to it are not allowed without passing the Appearance License test at the Department of Magical Transportation.
If one appeared without a license, one received heavy fines, or was even locked up in Azkaban.
After several centuries of exploration, the Ministry of Magic had established a perfected and comprehensive Apparition control system to ensure that wizards who failed the test could not use this magic, or that they would immediately come to the scene for treatment in case of any accident after using it.
The principle of this monitoring system was more or less the same as the monitoring of young wizards' wands, but it was more effective.
Ivan didn't want to have a bunch of Ministry officials around him as soon as he appeared; and only adult wizards could attend the relevant tests, and he couldn't wait that long.
If he wanted to take part in the test, he could only ask Sirius to think of a solution.
"I'll try. I'll just erase your name. It shouldn't be too difficult." Sirius smiled bitterly. "But I suggest you be careful. For your first Apparition, you'd better let me accompany you or Remus."
"Understood!" Ivan waved his hand.
At dusk, when the figures of Ivan, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Gabrielle disappeared completely, Sirius Disappeared from the Shrieking House, leaving only the horrible old house in silence.
That night, at midnight, Ivan, Harry, Ron and Hermione slipped out of the Common Room.
They had to wait a long time. The Creevey brothers had gotten their hands on a pile of Support Cedric Diggory! badges and were trying to spell them to say Support Cedric Diggory!
Ron Weasley! instead. They tried very hard, but didn't succeed.
When the two went to bed, everyone left the Common Room in silence.
Both Ivan and Harry had accumulated considerable experience in wandering the castle at night. They knew how to avoid Filch and his cat. Although Harry had an invisibility cloak, with the help of the Marauder's Map, they simply left the castle without using it.
Ivan had planned not to participate in the dragon visit, but Harry and Hermione insisted that everyone should go.
Now that it had been confirmed that the first task would be against a dragon, it might be useful to have a look at what this creature looked like and the types.
As for Ron, he was already panicking, and all he could think about was the Conjunctivitis Curse.
He was chanting all night, for fear of forgetting the spell.
He was too nervous. He couldn't go alone to Hagrid. He wished everyone would go out with him.
The grounds were very dark. They walked across the lawn toward the lights shining on Hagrid's hut.
The inside of the huge Beauxbatons carriage was also lit up, and it looked like they hadn't slept yet.
When Harry knocked on Hagrid's door, they could hear Madame Maxime talking inside the carriage.
"Are you here, Ron?" whispered Hagrid, opening the door and looking around, frowning. "Why are the four of you here? It's a lot of people!"
"We all know, Hagrid, just show us!" said Harry directly.
"Alright, alright, remember to put on your invisibility cloak, they shouldn't see you!" said Hagrid, looking very excited.
He didn't give the matter too much thought and agreed to let the four of them follow him to see the dragon.
Ivan stood thinking for a moment and whacked himself, Harry, Ron and Hermione over the head with his wand.
"What have you done?" said Harry in surprise.
"I feel like there's a cold liquid running down my entire body from where your wand hit me!" said Hermione suspiciously, watching her body take on the exact color and texture of the background, and then exclaimed, "My goodness, this is a Disillusioning Charm!"
"Yeah, this might be a little safer!" Ivan nodded.
It might be a little difficult to hide them all under Harry's invisibility cloak.
But with the use of the Disillusioning Charm, there would be no problem. This enchantment could make them hide completely.
"What is the Disillusioning Charm?" Harry kept asking, and Hermione whispered to him and Ron to explain.
