Ancient One -2

----Ancient One POV------

I am seeing the man related to chaos and the changes that happened during my short battle with interdimensional beings who tried to invade this planet. I was hardly gone for more than seven years and yet, the future that was once certain is now clouded in mystery.

The Time Gem showed me all the past and help me understand the reason for this chaos but the future..... it's something The Time Gem fails to clear for me.

Who or what is more powerful than an infinity stone to block its power?

"Forgive me for staring, as you see, in my long long years of life, it has been the first time meeting an existence like you," I told him as I think he got unsettled with me staring at him.

"No worries. You said you had questions, ancient one." Ryan asked me respectfully. At least he has manners, unlike many who meets me for the first time.

"Yes, let's start from the beginning, shall we? You are unique Mr Ryan or Phil as you want people to address you. I have seen many timelines and yet you remain unique to ours.

I don't think we have met before or ever. So, how are you aware of me Phil?" I asked him the first puzzle I wanted to solve.

"He is my chosen one. My champion if you must say," suddenly a voice of a young girl intervened and everything around us froze. Yes, time itself froze.

I could see other wizards who were in the room still like a statue and I prepared myself for a battle. I tried to follow the voice but it was nowhere.

I could not see who the speaker was or where did the voice come from. It was an unsettling moment.

"And may I wish to reveal yourself the higher one," I solemnly asked.

"No, BALDY," the girl replied and I felt I was suddenly humiliated by a small girl. Baldy! I, in my entire existence and in infinite timelines, has never been called 'BALDY'! Even Dormammu would never speak to me like this! What the hell!

"I am called SINGULARITY. The multiverse will be at war soon and he shall be my champ. Treat him well Baldy. If not, I will spank you. Take care of him. Ba-Bye." the girl said and I felt enraged. "Baldy" and "I will spank you", when did the higher being become like this? Who insult someone like this! WHAT A BLASPHEMY!!!!

"You should stop laughing Mr Phil as I believe if I want, you can spend an infinite time alone in a dark dimension. It won't harm you but will help you put things into perspective!" I reminded the other person who heard me insulted like this and who was laughing on the floor now. I wish I could erase this memory from his mind but a higher power, powerful and strong enough, protects him.

------Phil POV------

I am sweating bucket right now. What is my origin? How should I clarify this? In all other fanfics I have read in my last life, they don't explain it and somehow the ancient one will blindly trust them. She will even give them her time stone but what about me?

"Yes, let's start from the beginning, shall we. I don't think we have met before and the knowledge about me is not something you have accessed from anywhere in this life. So, how are you aware of me Mr Ryan?" I heard the ancient one asking the first question and before I could answer I see the eyes.

The empty white eyes and then the body of a blue girl, floating in the air. The body is made up of stars and galaxies. I am frozen before she speaks and then I could not believe my ears.

"BALDY...HA HA HA HA...." I rolled laughing on the ground. No one ever called ancient one Baldy in any story or comics in MCU. Fury sure but the ancient one commanded respect and no one wanted to offend her.

"Spank you!" I hear another sentence and I am beyond hysterical at this point. What the fuck man. A small girl child threatened the ancient one with spanking! I can't stop laughing at this.

Listening to ancient one's threat and the surrounding silence put a lid on my emotions.

"Ahem....as I was saying" I try to talk normally but I saw the girl again appearing behind the ancient one and shaking her head and then she merges with the space itself.

"Let's leave it. My gift comes with the condition of secrecy I believe. Rest has been confirmed by the higher existence herself," I put an end to the matter. Since someone so powerful and playful warned me not to speak, let's stick to that.

"Very well. We shall not discuss anything on this Ryan. In case I need you again, I will call for you. Please go back." The ancient one creates the space portal and I bowed to her respectfully and left the area.

I come back to our research centre in Shadow Isles and Melina is still waiting for me. Steve has left but she is still here.

"What happened? What did she ask?" Melina fired her questions but I had no answer for this.

"Nothing. We just had a chat and she thanked us for the work we are doing. She also promised help in case of an emergency. Trust me, we gained a great ally this time," I tell her and suddenly a portal opens near us and a hand come out of it. It threw a parchment on a table near us before it disappeared with the portal.

The parchment was a treaty signed between 'Kamar-Taj' and 'Shadow Isles' to protect the earth in case of attacks from other dimensions and from beings not native to earth and share knowledge when required. It also left an email address and a phone number at the bottom. There was a signature from the ancient one at Kamar Taj place and Shadow Isles was empty.

I looked at Melina and she looked at me. I sign the paper at the empty column and the parchment scatters into golden particles and I see one thread binding me clearly before disappearing. Looks like I just signed my first magical contract in this MCU. What an amazing day!

But who is singularity? I was just thinking this when Melina was called by our kids outside. She left me with a kiss and I was alone.

I was thinking hard and searching for all traces of this Singularity in my memories but there was nothing. I felt frustrated not knowing her origins. And then I saw 'her' face again. The blue galaxy child. SINGULARITY just hovering in the air in front of me.

She put a finger between my eyes and my spirit is sucked inside her.
