Fran was a cancer patient when she was five years old who finally beat it ten years later. Fast forward, Fran finishes medical school. On her first day she greets the doctor that saved her life as a kid. That doctor now becomes the teacher. After training as an intern at her hospital, Fran goes to the interns party that her friend Ericka holds. Upon going to that party, Fran hooks up with her fellow resident, Jeremy Cole.
