The system gave Lucas a few more side quests until he reached 50%. Those side quest were like talking, running, etiquette, counting up to large numbers, etc.. With all those side quest combined the main quest reach up to 50%.
It didn't take long to reach the Old Master Gray's ears. The illegitimate child his troublesome son had with a girl with no background is supposedly a genius? At the age of seven months he already walks, run, talk, and even know etiquette!
He at first didn't even what the child but the Gray Family blood is very important, even if he is an illegitimate child, so he put up an act that the poor kid is adopted by the Gray Family. This also made the Gray Family reputation good because people thought the Gray Family saved the kid from poverty.
The old Master Gray is proud of this idea! But who would thought that this illegitimate child would look so much like his troublesome son! He is a spitting image of Young Master Gray AKA Lucas's father when he was around his age. That made people suspicious. That also gave the old Master Gray a huge headache.
His son is at fault. Even tho he is married he still cheated in his wife many time with different women! But this time he got one of his mistresses pregnant. No one knows about this secret except him, his son, and an old butler of his.
He doesn't even want to look at Lucas. An illegitimate child isn't worth his time, but when he heard rumors about Lucas being a genius from the Mansion staff he couldn't help but feel curious. Is this illegitimate child of the Gray Family really a genius as they say?
Those were only his thoughts and that still didn't make him want to see Lucas. So what if he knows how to walk and talk at this age? Just because of that he is a genius? If he really is, then he should know how to write and read! If he can, then he will consider this illegitimate child a genius.

"20%!.. Why is the reward that big? The rewards are normally 5 to 10 percent. Why is this side quest reward so big?" Lucas said out loud. No one will hear him anyways, he is alone in his room.
The maids left him alone by this time because he would be taking a nap but instead of taking a nap Lucas is checking his new side mission.
"Mhmm.. let's not think about it much. It's better like this, so I can finish the main quest faster." Lucas ignored the rewards as he expertly went down from his crib.
He made his way to a drawer where the storybooks the maids gave him last time were kept. He open the draw and stared at a bunch of books. He randomly pick one and closed the drawer.
He walk to the white fluffy rug and sat down, crisscross. He put the book on his lap and read the title, 'The Ugly Duckling'. He already know this story. He had this book at the library where his past self worked at, and this story is quite famous too.
He read it till the last page and place the book in the rug as he stood up. Lucas glance towards the clock. 2:07 PM. The maids that is taking care of him will be here in a few minutes to feed him.
He quietly sat back down on the rug and open the book again. This time he read it out loud, he wants the maids to see how good he is at reading.
Creak.. The sound of the door open didn't disturb Lucas. He knows who entered his room. They are the maids who are taking care of him.
Among the 2 maids is Victoria. All of them has their eyes widen. The young master Lucas kept giving them surprises! It was just a few days ago when he started to talk and now he is reading?! He truly is a genius!
"Young Master Lucas! How did you get down from the crib? You could've fallen!" Soon one of the maid calmed down and realized Lucas is not in his crib anymore.
"I, I just wanted to read a story!" Lucas replied with his big doe eyes, innocently capturing the maids hearts. Tho his pronunciation is not good yet, it's still understandable.
Victoria sigh and went to Lucas. She sat beside him and stared at the book on Lucas's lap. 'The Ugly Duckling'. She slowly took the book and glance at Lucas.
"When did you learn how to read, Young Master?" Victoria asked still in disbelief.
"Uhm.." Lucas stared back at Victoria with his wide black eyes, looking confuse.
"I don't know. I saw you read the books over there to me, so I tried reading it! And I read it! Am I good, sister Victoria?" Lucas said while smiling widely.
Victoria put her hand on her chest and fell back, dramatically. Lucas just called her sister Victoria! Victoria couldn't help but feel deep connection towards this sweet genius.
"You did great, Young Master! Very great!" Victoria wipe her nonexistent tears. She looks like a proud sister right now as well as the other 2 maids in the room.
"Young Master. How about you call me sister too!" One of the maids ran towards Lucas and Victoria with pleading eyes.
"Me too, Young Master! Say 'sister Zoe'!" The other maid ran towards them.
"Okay, sisters!" Lucas smiled while looking at the two maids, Melting their hearts.
"Alright then. How about you try reading another book, Young Master? You can practice more even tho you are already good at reading." One of the maid's said excitedly while the other hurriedly pick a book from the drawer.
"You're finish reading this book, right?" Victoria raised the book 'Ugly Duckling' as Lucas nodded his head.
"Yes, sister! I want to read another one!" Lucas smiled widely and hug the maids, tightly.

Gossip once again spread through the Gray Mansion like wild fire. It is again about Lucas, as always. All the Staff in the Gray Mansion have only been talking about Lucas. Some staff are jealous of the maids that are taking care of Lucas. They too wanted to see Lucas read, run, talk, and even walk for the first time! It's truly unfair that these maids are the only people that Lucas calls sister. They also want their Young Master to call them sister, brother, uncle, or aunty!
This gossip once again reach the ears of the old Master Gray who is currently working at the third floor of the Mansion, inside his house office.
"He can read?" Old Master Gray frown while looking at the old butler in front of him.
"Yes, Old Master Gray. Even I am surprised to here that. So I went to Young Master Lucas's room myself. Young Master Lucas, indeed knows how to read." The old butler replied politely.
The old Master Gray stared at the old butler for a few seconds not believing what he just said, he then remembered that this old butler doesn't lie to him and he is the most trusted person here in the Mansion where a snake lures around.
"I'll see for myself then. Bring me my cane!"

Lucas stared in the notification he just got from the system. No one is currently with him right now.
"Two side quest today? That's weird." Lucas frowned and shake his head before standing up from the fluffy white rug.
He open the door of his room and went on a mission to find Victoria. He needed her to find painting materials. He doesn't even know why the system wants him to paint, maybe the system wants him to be a painter?
Lucas doesn't hate painting but he doesn't like it either. He painted a few time in his past life but they are not good. He guess the reason he doesn't find then amusing is because he is bad at it.
On his way to find Victoria many staff greeted him politely as soon as they saw him. You can clearly see how happy they are whenever Lucas replied to their greetings.
"Hello Young Master Lucas!"
"Hello!" Replied Lucas with a smile as he continued to hop to find Victoria.
"Good afternoon, Young Master Lucas!"
"Good afternoon to you too!" Lucas replied while waving his hand.
"You look so handsome, Young Master!"
"Thank you, Brother Elliot! Your roses look beautiful today!" Lucas complimented the gardener Elliot's roses before continuing his mission to find Victoria in this maze like Mansion.
Soon he found Victoria cleaning a vase. Finally. Lucas rush towards her and hug her leg while smiling.
"Sister Victoria!" Lucas look up to see Victoria with her eyes wide open while staring back at him.
"Oh! Young Master did you go all the way here from your room to find me?!" Victoria worriedly ask Lucas. She is worried that the young master's leg will hurt from walking all the way here.
"Yes. I wanted to see you!" Lucas showed his innocent doe eyes to Victoria.
"Alright, Young Master. What do you need from me?" Victoria kneeled down near Lucas height as she pants his head.
"I want to paint, sister!"
