A BREATH OF FRESH AIR

Ignoring the unpleasant tone of her voice, Jessy secretly prays in her heart, asking the Lord for favor before she responds, "Hello, I am Jessyminthia Morgana Albert."

Hoping the facial expression of Miss John would change if she spoke softly and tenderly. Suddenly Jessy jumped out of her seat when Miss John knocked, "Thump, thump, thump!" It was so loud and demanding on her desk angrily, that Jessy suddenly stepped away not making a sound.

Her words were, cold and abusive, "I didn't ask you that, so answer me? what were you doing behind my desk? And who permits you to make yourself comfortable in my office? Do you know who I am?"

Becoming level to her height now that she had stood up, it was only then Jessy noticed the gauze on her forehead, Wondering, 'If someone hit her because of her bullying attitude?'

Thinking that must be the case Jessy stifled a laugh but it wasn't concealed properly.

Jessy stepped away a bit further from the desk before she made a complaint to Sir, making things difficult for herself.

Humbling herself she said almost in a whisper, "I am sorry."

"I don't think so, that smirking smile reveals your intention."

Unable to hold it back any longer, Jessy was smiling openly not afraid any longer to offend her, "Miss John, don't take it wrongly but I can't help it. the morning is much too beautiful to be grouchy. And another thing Boss says be civil to me."

Lystra was stunned by her boldness, 'And why would the boss say such a thing? Did he suspect I would become angry or arrogant? Oh God, I only hope he isn't aware of my rage, but from the foolish girl's words, he has suspected that I am arrogant and short-tempered. I better calm down before he reaches.'

Jessy placed the notepad on the desk, "Miss John these are messages that came while waiting for you."

With that said Jessy moved to the opposite of Miss John's desk where there were a few chairs and sat down.

Noticing other staff members chipping in one after the other. They enter their office to rest their bags on their office desks, then they go to a room and come out with a cup of tea or coffee.

Thinking that Brent would like a nice cup of tea, Jessy stood up and did the same.

Hearing this gentle voice of a person asking, "Young lady is that coffee or tea?"

Raising her head she takes a look at the person. He was in his early forties and well-dressed in a black tailored suit. With a broad smile on his face, he looked gentle.

Jessy could not turn him down, especially the way he sniffles the amora with a smile. Jessy smiled brightly and replied, "It is coffee and tea Sir, which one would you prefer?"

Noticing her beautiful smile and pleasant joyful appearance, he chuckles absent-mindedly and says, "I will like the coffee please if it is not too much trouble." Thomas likes the way she chuckles as he takes the coffee. He could see the pleasure she got from just serving him the coffee.

Walking away Thomas thought, 'This is nice if only old man Larson was here he would enjoy this young lady's behavior, she is a breath of fresh air just suited for this office.'
