BRENT EXPLAIN WHAT THE CHILD INTENTIONS ARE

Half three sitting once more in his office, this time nothing could hold back the tears when the knock came and the door opened.

Bending his head over a file so Miss John could not see the tears, he took a deep breath before saying, "Yes, Miss John."

"Sir, your parents were here looking for you, they seem very worried."

Brent knew his mom can be very pesty at times and right now he didn't want to do much talking, so he said, "Thanks, I will go home and if anything crops up, you can call me."

Seeing him stand up immediately to leave,  Miss John quickly said, "Sir, wait a minute, they are not returning home they have a meeting to attend to."

Not bothering either, all he wanted at that moment was some quiet, "Okay, thanks, will you lock the door as you leave?" He then sits once more.

Lystra looked at him seeing the redness in his eyes, she suspected something was amiss. 'Where did he and Miss James go so early and for so long?'

After speaking with Miss James and getting no answer, I thought it fit to confront him thinking he might reveal his whereabouts.

Becoming exaggerated knowing all her efforts have also failed. Hoping desperately to get on his good side, so he will not hold back and express his feelings, "Sir, are you alright?"

"I am fine, it is just a headache and I don't want any interruption or intrusion for the rest of the afternoon."

Hearing the click on the door, Brent sat more at ease now knowing Miss John wouldn't nag him any longer and he could think without any hindrance.

Brent closes his eyes resting his both legs on top of his desk as Jessy never leaves his mind and wonders why he is so drawn to her, also he thinks about how ill she is, and if she has already regained consciousness.

With his eyes still closed he heard the door handle turn he quickly opened his eyes but the place was in total darkness.

Confused for a moment when he recalled he was in his office, he switched on the desk lamp only to realize it was so late. 'Oh dear, how does time fly so quickly, I had just closed my eyes thinking about Jessy, so how could I have fallen asleep?'

It was then Brent realized it was the Security Guard doing their night routine check,  He walked to the door and opened it. "Sir you are still here?"

"Yes, but I am done," Brent switched off the desk lamp, locked the door, and left.

Brent asked the head of Security to let one of the men follow him home.

Brent waved to the Security Guard before walking into the house, when he heard the loud speaking, wondering what was happening.

He hurriedly approached the study and then stopped suddenly when his Dad's voice sounded so displeased, "Florence Cynthia Larson, it seems you are making a mountain out of a molehill, that child is right so why can't you see that."

Brent heard the way she responded to his Dad, "What do you know about helping the needy, I have been doing this for umpteen years."

Brent laughed as he looked at his wife, "I agree with you but that is fundraising and it's just short term. What the child was trying to explain to you was long-term."

Hearing her laugh as though she was mocking him. Brent didn't hold back what was on his mind, "Florence Cynthia Larson you disappoint me, you are only looking at what the child said on the surface. She on the other hand is seeing the vision at another level to you."

"What are you trying to say, am I not experienced in that field?"

"Honey, I am not saying that the real purpose of the homeless home is to help people out of the streets, and that cannot happen overnight.

Why is it you cannot understand that? giving them food and clothes for two days is not the answer to their problem. Honey, it will take them months to groom them for this fresh start.

They will have to adjust and as they do that, we train them for the job to feed their family. You may not understand what the child was saying, but she is right she understands what struggles they are faced each day."
