LYSTRA PLAN GOT FOUL-UP

The week passed slowly, and Jessy was happy with her decision to marry Brent. They both concealed their marriage and worked in the office as though they were just employer and employee.

Jessy continued doing her work the same as always, Miss John never seized to make discord or cause stumbling blocks in her path, but Jessy always ignored her and by God's grace, she was always shielded from reproach when someone in the office would witness the scene and defend her.

Although Jessy suspected that Miss John was always behind the incident, she had no evidence and did not retaliate.

Lystra's anger boils, becoming more vicious, hoping with all her heart that this new plot will cause Boss to fire Jessy.

Though matter how I tried to, Jessy always seemed to gain favor and sway Boss's decision.

"Let me see how she will escape this trap, when I finish with her she will be laid up for a few days. If I cannot get her out, then I will get her to stay away from the office."

A week later Lystra came prepared earlier with a plan in mind, knowing Boss always walked in for five past eight to eight fifteen.

Deciding to deal with Miss Albert in a more precise manner, before anyone's arrival, she sat at her desk with the fan on although her office was fully air-conditioned, and waited patiently.

Jessy on the other hand had arrived at the office for half six, one hour earlier, due to a long and tiring night.

She was afraid she'd be late for the office so she dressed early and headed for the office. Brent was aware of my decision to return early because of the lack of sleep.

Miss John didn't go to the staff room so she had no idea that Miss Albert was already in the staff room and had prepared everything as she sat in a corner quietly napping.

Time zoomed in and so did the first staff, Miss John was already irritable after waiting for so long.

Wanting to know why Miss Albert isn't at the office, "Oh God it is already eight o'clock, so where could she be, and why of all days she is late? if she doesn't come soon my plan will be foul up?"

Hearing the hurried footsteps thinking it was Jessy, Miss John smirked sullently and waited until the footsteps reached almost her door and rested the napkin with the chilly powder so the fan breeze would spray the powder on her face.

Unexpectedly, Grace, Manager John's secretary was hurrying to her office and was expecting an important call. As she screamed out loudly, jolting Jessy fully awake.

Jessy opened her eyes seeing it was two minutes past eight, she rushed out of the staff room wanting to know where the screaming was coming from.

Seeing the horror on Miss Grace's face, as she cried out in pain. The red powder was plastered all over her face like a mask.

Her screams were heartrending, as Jessy drew closer, the odor of the red chilly powder immediately wafted her nostrils making her aware of why she was screaming.

Miss John was just about to come and assist Grace but held back when she noticed Miss Albert rushing to her assistant.

Anger boils in Lystra's heart realizing her foolish mistake, 'If only I wasn't so annoyed with Miss Albert, this wouldn't be happening and Grace wouldn't be hurt. Oh God, why is it she always gets away? Sometimes I feel as though she has a guardian angel always protecting her. Now I will have to prepare an excuse ready, and have it at hand hoping I won't be exposed. 'All the pranks I constructed so far never hurt anyone, only Jessy was humiliated, but this prank won't escape Boss's eyes.'

Jessy held her hand and led her to the washroom, she was so caught up with helping Miss Grace that she had completely forgotten to attend to the others, and they had to help themselves with their tea and coffee.

Brent steps out of his private elevator expecting to see his wife busy entertaining his staff.

He entered his office expecting to find his breakfast as always when he opened the desk drawer, but it was empty.

Brent stood up and walked to his office door expecting to see her hurrying to his office but she was nowhere in sight. He enters the staff room, noticing her bag, next to it sits his lunch bag.
