I WISH SHE WAS DEAD

"Isn't Miss Albert there?" his tone of voice became gentler when he mentioned her name, which drove Lystra insane.

Having no choice but to respond, "Sir, from what the contractor said I don't think so, Sir I might be wrong but yesterday it looked as if Boss fired her."

Lystra jumped when Senior Larson snapped at her, she could see he was even more aggrieved and angry only hearing that Miss Albert was fired. "I want you to call her immediately, I need to speak with her."

'Oh Almighty, I should have known he is more vicious than Mrs. Larson.' "But sir, I am just reporting regarding what I observed."

Lystra was so afraid that she took a step backwards. His bloodshot eyes sent chills up her spine, especially when he snapped so loudly, "What foolishness are you talking about, he cannot dismiss her, and what the hell is wrong with him, is he so blind that he cannot see the fantastic job she is doing? Now call her for me, I will rehire her."

As Lystra left to make the call she heard him raising his voice a bit causing everyone to look up from their desk, "Has anyone heard anything about my Son or Miss Albert?"

Lystra was curious to know what method Miss Albert had used to brainwash Mr. Larson to be in his good book. He seems to favor her from the first time he sees her, 'Oh God how I despised that girl, I wish she was dead.'

Afraid to mention anything but wanting to say her peace, she hurriedly returned after realizing Miss Albert didn't have a contact number. She was rejoicing in her heart that Senior Larson wouldn't be able to communicate with her.

Taking a deep breath Lystra said, "Sir, I am afraid the office doesn't have a contact number for Miss Albert. But please don't worry sir, it was just my assumption, I could be dead wrong but after they both spoke yesterday, she left taking her belongings, she only came in this morning for a moment then left."

This time when Senior Larson snaps Florence jumps, His tone of voice was even sterner than before when he repeat himself, "Has anyone spoken to my Son?"

Standing up Sylvia said, "Sir, I spoke briefly with him after Miss Albert left the office earlier today."

Everyone observed the way his face lit up, "Did he say why he isn't here?"

Sylvia approached Mr. Larson and said almost in a whisper so Lystra wouldn't hear her words, "Sir, I just called to ask if he fired Miss Albert?"

Lystra was surprised when his demeanor was gentler towards Sylvia "What was his response?"

"He said no, Sir." Gritting her teeth Lystra was annoyed wanting to know why he was so gentle towards Sylvia when he always seems agitated towards her. Envy and jealousy infiltrated her heart as she plots in her heart how to get rid of those two hinderances that is blocking her way.

"Thank you so much, Miss James, now is Elliot in his office?"

Replying to him immediately, "Yes Sir!" Without a second thought Sylvia hurried and knocked at her Boss's door, when he spoke she answered, "Sir, Mr. Larson wants to see you now."

Hearing her words Elliot hurried out towards Mr. Larson, "Boss, you are here?"

Brent notices how respectful he address him, "Elliot, the office is in your charge until my Son is returned and no changes are to be made."

Holding his wife's hand, he left then Sylvia snapped at Lystra, "I hope you are satisfied with all your mischief you have done?"

Gawking at Sylvia she maliciously responded, "What nonsense you are talking about, I haven't done anything."

"You could make others believe that, but I know the truth, you hated to see them happy."

"Them! What are you talking about? Have you lost your mind?"

Sylvia smiled but there was a fire burning inside, "When Jessy is in the office, all the workers are happy, even Boss was also happy, but you gradually stuck a wedge until now, none is here, you should feel proud Boss is all yours now?"

Listening to them and the concerns of Sylvia's voice, Eliot was confused for a moment. 'Miss James has been working as his secretary for over four years. She is a no-nonsense person and she is very outspoken "What the hell is going on, Boss was never negligent and Sylvia is right, Miss Albert has brightened up the office.
