Chapter nine

"Pfft-." Eiji and Hitori snorted trying to stop laughing. Issey stood off amusedly, while Haruto and Raika sported tiny smiles.

"Hmm."Hiro hummed looking at Rumi's bruised eye with a magnifying glass. "Well prince Rumi, that is a very ugly bruise." Hiro said and Eiji and Hitori burst into fits of laughter.

"Wah!." They both cried clutching their stomachs.

"S-Shut up, you two!." Rumi stuttered face flushed in embarrassment.

"But Rumi, how did you end up with that?." Haruto asked gesturing to his face.

"I will tell…I saved a little girl from behind harassed and ended up with this."Rumi lied proudly, Issey sweatdropped knowing he was lying.

"Seriously Rumi, I didn't know you were that brave!." Hitori said clapping.

"It was easy when one of our people was in dire need of my help."Rumi said puffing out his chest in pride.

A knock sounds on the door as they all snapped their heads towards it.

"What is it?." Raika asked.

"Miss Kana has asked me to bring this to Prince Rumi as an apology for what miss Ei did to him."Heiy's muffled voice sounded as they snapped their heads to Rumi before putting the pieces together.

"BWAHH!!!." Hitori and Eiji burst out laughing rolling on the floor.

"Ei beat you up!!." Eiji wheezed clutching his stomach.

"I seriously have to start spending time with her!."Hitori gasped beside him.

"Ei, beat you up?."Haruto questioned.

"A girl beat you up?."Raika asked smirking.

"Trust me she's not a woman."Rumi defended crossing his arms.

"I am sorry but in her defense, she said you wanted to hit her and she retaliated in self defense."Issey said placing his hands on Rumi's shoulder.

"You know in some cases, it is said that a girl beats up a man because she likes him."Hiro said as Rumi perked up.

"You mean she likes me, that is why she is always angry whenever I annoy her?."Rumi asked with a blush and Hiro nodded. "Perhaps I have been going too hard on her, she's just human. "Rumi sighed dreamily.

Eiji, Raika, Haruto and Issey facepalmed in the background seeing as Rumi was easily manipulated."I have to apologise, so she can see I also like her!." Rumi exclaimed pounding his fist on his palm.

Just then the door burst open and Raga strolled in before proceeding to sit down on one the doors, he closed his eyes pretending to be asleep.

"Prince Raga, glad you could join us for today's lesson." Hiro said not minding Raga's rude entrance, Raga didn't reply only proceeding to cover his face with a book.

"Big brother Raga! You see, I'm in love!!." Rumi cried rushing to stand beside Raga.

"Hm? Who's the lucky girl?." Raga mumbled.

"You can't exactly call her lucky, since she'll be having Rumi on her tail."Eiji said and Rumi shot him a glare.

"Shut up! Go find someone to call yours!."Rumi snapped.

"Now hold on! Ei doesn't belong to anyone!."Issey said waving his hands around.

"So, it's that crazy girl."Raga hummed.

"Crazy?."

"She keeps asking me to apologise for pushing her off my horse."Raga said and they all sweatdropped." Congratulations."

"She's so amazing!."Rumi swooned lovestruck

"I definitely have to start spending time with her!."Hitori cried placing his hands on his hips.

"Stay away from her, I'm sure she doesn't want two freaks chasing her on a daily basis."Raika snapped.

"Who the hell are you calling freaks?," Hitori and Rumi yelled.

"Good grief."Raga sighed.

Ei sighed hugging her knees to her chest, she glanced at Kana who closed the door to her room behind her.

"Ei, I think I'm doing a bad job." Kana started sitting on the bed.

"Huh? what do you mean?." Ei asked tilting your head.

"Before you came here, mother asked me to take care of you and make sure you didn't get into trouble. I was responsible for you but I couldn't do anything when you and Rumi got into a fight."Kana said looking at the ceiling.

"But Kana, it was Rumi who started-." Ei tried to protest but were cut off when Kana turned sharply to glare at hee.

"Enough! I know it's Rumi's fault, but can't you at least try to get along with him!, mother asked me to take care of you but I can't take care of you if you're hanged for hitting a prince!."Kana said tears flowing down her face. I"can't take care of you if you're dead." Kana mumbled softly. "Please, Ei. If not me but for our parents, for mother and father, please stay out of trouble, the castle is a very dangerous place. I don't want you to get hurt."Kana said.

"I will stop causing trouble." Ei mumbled crying alongside with her.

"Promise me, Ei." Kana asked.

"I promise." Ei replied as Kana moved to trap her in an embrace."I'm sorry."
