DON'T GIVE A DAMN

Haru entered the studio, opened the door, went inside, closed the door, sat in the black chair, took the Guitar beside him, and began playing. Haru's solo was so soothing and relaxing. He played it for two hours straight, completely immersed in it and shaking his head. Haru was obsessed with music; it was his hobby and his passion. He has loved music since he was a child and will continue to do so. Because of his music, he has received numerous awards. His father, however, is opposed to it, but Haru is unconcerned. He's so dedicated to music that he's willing to abandon his family and everything else for it.

Haru was a fantastic singer, and he has numerous contracts from people who want him to be their star. He hasn't accepted anyone yet because he's still in school. He wanted to finish his schooling and put his focus on music. Haru doesn't want anything to get in his way; he loves music and no one will stand in his way of getting what he wants, and he doesn't care what others think of him. It's his life, and he'll live it exactly how he wants it to be. He kept playing because music calmed him and made him feel alive; whenever he was bothered, he would play music and it was his comfort.

When he finished playing, tears streamed down his cheeks, and he collapsed on the floor, sobbing bitterly. He couldn't believe it; even after all these years, he couldn't forget about it. His father despised him, his mother died trying to save him, and his first love abandoned him. How could he bear it all? It was too painful, too painful to bear. After all these years, he tried everything he could to forget, yes, he tried everything he could to forget and forget about all of this. He wants to get out of here. He thought this place would be beneficial to him, but it is not. He needs to call his uncle, and he is irritated because he feels pathetic and stupid right now. He got up from the floor and wiped away his tears and sat down on his chair.

He heard footsteps and looked up as the door opened to reveal Keith.

"I knew you'd be here, Haru?" Keith smirked.

Haru laughed lightly. "Anata wa bakadesu." Haru spoke in Japanese.

"Huh, I'm not an idiot, and don't speak as if I don't understand Japanese Haru," Keith pouted.

"Sutji de utau no ga koish, sutji de utau koto ni modoritai, ksu," he smirked at Keith, trying to change the topic.

"Yeah, I miss it too." Keith shrugged and sat down on the drum. "Singing on stage?" He sighed.

"We'll soon go back to singing on stage, and this time I'm leaving everything behind and no one is stopping me," Haru said, clenching his fist.

"Are you talking about your ex?" Keith inquired.

Haru's expression abruptly changed. "Nidoto kare ni tsuite hanasanaide kudasai?" Haru stated solemnly.

"But your face is all red, and it appears you were crying earlier," Keith said, frowning as well. Keith pretended he hadn't heard what Haru had just said. He was well aware that Haru despised discussing his ex. And if he should prolong it and keep asking questions, this conversation will turn into a fight.

"I'm not crying, and please stop talking nonsense. I just want to finish school, forget about everything, and get back to singing. At least, isn't that the reason why I came to America in the first place?' Haru abruptly smiled.

"Well, since we're in our final year. When we're done, we're going back to singing, and this time we're going to blow the audience away.' Keith laughed.

"Don't we always blow the audience away?" Haru laughed.

"You know, I miss singing, especially the way we both sang at the karaoke that day," Keith said.

"Yeah, that was amazing?" Haru exclaimed.

"Why did you choose that song instead of singing another song, and you and I both know the reason you created it." Keith spoke up, and Haru remained silent, resting his cheek on his fisted hand and folding both legs across each other. "I can't wait to graduate from this damn school," Keith said.

"So you can get more ladies to fuck, huh?" Haru teased.

"Hmm...but it's not about the ladies. I just miss singing, and I'd like to meet more girls too,' Keith said, smiling.

"I knew it?" Haru continued to tease.

"Whatever.' Keith sighed. "As if you don't fuck someone else too. What about the other guy you were interested in, are you two lovers now? I haven't seen him around you in a while,' Keith pointed out.

"Are you a jerk. Why the hell, will I want a lover now." Haru asked, perplexed, and frowned his brows while staring at him. "Besides, what guy are you taking about,' Haru said.

"Of course, it's Johan. That guy,' Keith explained.

"Oh, he?"

"Yes,'

"He's been avoiding me lately. And he's nothing more than a coward.' Haru sneered.

"Ouch! 'Don't call him that, I thought you liked him,' Keith inquired.

"Like, huh. I don't like him; I just use him to satisfy my desires,' Haru replied.

"Does he know you want to use...'

"Yes, he knows, and I don't have the fucking strength to tell him that I love him when I don't. So he knows.' Haru rolled his eyes.

"And, why is he afraid of you?

"I don't know, he doesn't seem afraid of me, he's probably doing that to keep his girlfriend from finding out about his secret?" Haru laughed.

"And you didn't chase him down to find out?' Keith inquired.

"I don't want to stress myself out, and besides, I want to give him more time anyway, and then I'll go meet him?' Haru stated those words reluctantly.

"So, have you guys done it yet?" Keith inquired, smiling.

"No, we only did the first part?" Haru responded.

"The first part. You still haven't done it after all this time. Seriously, the guy seems boring to me; if I were you, I would have given up a long time ago and found someone else to do it with?' Keith smirked.

"I'm just taking it easy with him, and besides, he's still trying to figure out his sexuality, and he doesn't know he's bisexual, or he knows but doesn't want to admit it. Isn't he still a little boy?' Haru shrugged.

"He isn't a little boy. He's only 17 years old, and you're almost two years older than him.' Keith sighed.

"But he's still a little boy, and he's so cute. I want to sleep with him, so badly?' Haru spoke with lust.

"Then get him before time runs out and you know, you are gonna graduate soon, so there won't be time for taking it easy with him?' Keith teased.

"I'm damn, aware of that buddy." Haru grinned.
