"Let's go," Syanja said as she entered the office of Jung-Hoon, who was working furiously. "Hey, stop it now." Syanja went close to him and turned off the laptop. "Syanja, wait, it's almost finished." She shook her head and caressed Jung-Hoon's hair. "You have been working since morning. Now please stop it and take some rest." Her loving eyes were enough for him to nod his head in agreement. "Okay," Jung-Hoon said gently and kissed her head after holding it. "Let's go home." Nodding at Jung-Hoon, she made her way toward the office door. "Oh," he caught her attention, and she glanced back at him. "What is everything alright?" Jung-Hoon shook his head and showed her a file, causing her gaze to turn confused. "I need to give this to Ho-Jim Hyung." "Alright." She smiled slightly and walked out of the office.
"I don't know what Hyun-Tae sees in her. Whenever I see her, I feel disgusted." Talking over the phone with her sister, Mrs. Vim made a disgusted face. "No, he is not listening to anyone. I don't get good vibes about her. She is up to something." She let out a deep sigh. "I wish Syanja would marry him. I like that girl." Mrs. Vim excitedly said and after a few minutes she hung up the call. "Mom, stop dreaming." She flinched a little as Hyun-Tae warned her about dreaming. "What is your problem? I like her. I will say whatever I want. Don't teach me anything." Non Ideal answering him, Mrs. Vim sat on the couch. "Mom, I am warning you to stop talking about Syanja in this house. I want some peace, please." "Stop overeating Hyun-Tae and focus on yourself. You are being rude day by day. It is all effect of you stupid wife." Letting out a deep sigh, Hyun-Tae walked to his room saying nothing to his mom. "Aish, this boy." Mrs. Vim shook her head.
Jung-Hoon stopped the car in front of Vim's mansion. Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his head. Rubbing his temple, he rested his head on the steering wheel. "Hey, are you alright?" Being worried about Jung-Hoon's condition, Syanja quickly rubbed his back. "I am having a terrible headache." "That's why I told you not to overwork yourself. Now look at what you did to yourself." "Ya, stop scolding me. I am in pain." Syanja's eyes softened as he realised about her high tune. "Sorry," lowering her head she whispered. "Let me help you, you stay here. I give it to Ho-Jim. "Are you sure?" She smiled and nodded her head a little. "Thank You, give it to Hyun-Tae if Ho-Jim is not there." "Okay, wait for me. I will be back soon." Smiling brightly, she kissed Jung-Hoon's head before heading inside the Mansion.
"Excuse me?" Syanja caught Mrs. Vim's attention as she entered the Mansion. Mrs. Vim's eyes widened after seeing Syanja in front of her. She felt so happy to see her for the first time. Rushing towards her, Mrs. Vim pulled Syanja into a warm hug. Her sudden move confused Syanja, and she took aback. "I am happy to see you in person for the first time. I heard about you a lot." Smiling awkwardly, Syanja bowed at her as Mrs. Vim broke the hug. "Come inside and sit, please." "Actually, I am in a hurry. Someone is waiting outside for me." Mrs. Vim glanced at her sadly. "Please, for a moment." Syanja felt so bad for her but nodded her head because she didn't want to hurt her. "Yes." Mrs. Vim's face lit up, and she pulled Syanja into the living room. "You are here for a reason?" "Yesh, I want to give this file to Ho-Jim or Hyun-Tae." Mrs. Vim nodded her head. "Syanja, can I ask you something?" Nodding her head, Syanja gave her permission. "Do you like Hyun-Tae?" Syanja choked the air after listening to her question. Mrs. Vim rushed to her and patted her back worriedly. "Are you okay?" "Y-yes." Answering her, Syanja regretted coming there at this hour.
"I am sorry, but I am a straightforward woman. Syanja, I like you, and Hyun-Tae loves you the most." Syanja frowned at her while staring at her blankly, not knowing what was going on there. "What?" She whispered under her breath. Mrs. Vim held her both hands, and a tear rolled down her face. "Please, save my child. He loves you, a lot." "D-don't cry." Stuttering in front of her, Syanja got up. "Please, Mrs. Vim, don't do this. Don't plead with me, please." "Why?" Hyun-Tae is already married." "But—, "and, I love someone. Can you tell me where Hyun-Tae is? Jung-Hoon is waiting outside for me. I want to give it to him as soon as possible." "He is upstairs in his study room." "Can I go?" Nodding her head, Mrs. Vim permitted her. Syanja smiled and walked upstairs. Going upstairs, Syanja took a glance at Mrs. Vim sadly.
Syanja knocked on the door gently and heard a deep voice, which echoed in her ears. She was feeling nervous for the first time and scared as well after Mrs. Vim told her Hyun-Tae's feelings towards her. Letting out a deep breath, Syanja entered the room. "S-sorry for disturbing you, Hyun-Tae. I am here to give you this file." Hyun-Tae shifted his gaze on Syanja and glared at her. He was angry, hurt, and hopeless at the same time. "Are you okay?" She maintained herself to talk to him, even though he was staring at her with a dark gaze. "Why are you here?" His scary tone sent shivers down her spine. "I-I told you, I am here to give you this file." "YOU TOLD YOU TO COME HERE?" Syanja lowered her gaze on the floor with no guts to look at him as he was terrifying her. "LOOK AT ME WHEN I AM TALKING TO YOU." she flinched and took aback. "I need to go now." Syanja said as her gaze landed on the wine bottle. She understood Hyun-Tae was not in his senses.
She was about to open the door, but stopped as Hyun-Tae pulled her back and hit her back on the chilly wall. "W—what are you doing?" She panicked after seeing Hyun-Tae's red eyes, which were looking at her deeply. "L-leave me." She tried to escape but Hyun-Tae gripped her arms tightly leaving his fingers marks on them. Syanja hissed as she felt a sharp pain in her arms. "You are h-hurting me." She yelped in pain, causing Hyun-Tae to smirk in satisfaction. "You hurt me more than this, Syanja." Her eyes widened and tears welled up in her eyes. "P-please." She pleaded, but it did not affect him as the alcohol was doing its work on him. Hyun-Tae leaned close to her face and snuggled his face into her crook of neck. Syanja felt disgusted and regretted her own decision to come there. Her sobbed echoed into the silent room. "Why don't you love me?" "L-leave me." "I ASKED, YOU DON'T YOU LOVE ME?" Hyun-Tae smashed his hand on the wall harder. "Hyun-Tae, you are scaring me." Syanja sobbed harder, causing him to be more angry. “Don’t make me more angry, Syanja”
