Lily’s POV
“How about you, how's married life,” he asked and casually gazed at me.
I shrugged. “I could say it’s a happy experience to have a child and husband; a child that gives you the inspiration to face and continue the battle of life, a very supportive husband.”
“It looks like you have a happy married life,” he said in a hoarse voice.
“Yes, I have a happy married life,” I replied while staring at the flower I was holding. I remembered Alex. I would be happier if he was the one I had married. I sighed and touched my bracelet.
“I have noticed that every time you remember something you’re touching that fringe heart in your bracelet, it looks like this thing is really important to you,” he said, gazing from me to my bracelet.
