UNDERSTANDING THE SITUATION PART(2)

CHAPTER-4

[Outside the cafe]

Wnya saw Helen standing beneath the lamp post. She saw that Helen wasn't upset at all. Her expressions were like as if she doesn't gives a shit about whatever she got to hear from Yumi or her friends and wasn't ashamed at all. Wnya approached towards her furiously and said," You should have at least shared with me beforehand. They went on saying so many things to you and you just kept listening to them. Why aren't you saying anything Helen! Are you really that upset?"

"Upset! Huh! My foot! I did nothing wrong. Andrew loves me not Yumi. It was her who never valued Andrew. He was so lonely even after being in a relationship with her. I was there for him. I gave him whatever he asked for, not Yumi. Well we make a perfect couple. Yumi never deserved him. I waited so long for him. He was meant to be mine from the very beginning." Helen said.

~5 years ago~

[At the cafe, 12:00 PM]

"Where is He? We can't wait to see the guy who stole our Mimi's heart!" Joy exclaimed happily.

" I texted him a while ago and he said that he'll be here within 5 minutes. Oh! Here he is!" Yumi said and rushed towards the cafe door excitedly.

A tall guy with grey eyes and black hair entered the cafe wearing a denim jacket. Yumi took him to her friends.

"Guys! this is Andrew, and Andrew! These my friends. She is Joy, that's Anya, that's Rishika, she is Wnya and that's Helen." Yumi introduced.

"Hello!"

"Hi Guys!" Andrew greeted them.

' Oh my god! ANDREW CELES!!. Why did he choose Yumi as his girlfriend. He should be with me rather than her. I deserve this guy. He has been my crush since middle school. He's so hot! Just wait and watch, how i make him mine.' A very evil thought came in Helen's mind as she greets him with a kind smile.

~BACK TO PRESENT~

The cafe door opens Joy steps out, behind her Anya, Yumi and Rishika. They started to move towards Joy and Anya's car just then Wnya calls from behind them

" You gotta say sorry to Helen. All of you! Now!" she shouts at them and pushes Helen ahead of her.

" And why is that?" Joy (6ft.1) asks as she stands in between Helen (5ft.4) and Yumi (5ft.10).

"First of all she did nothing wrong. They love each other and they should be together"

" My dearest younger sister you are are making no sense! Even if they loved each other, Andrew should have broken up with Yumi first." Anya is seriously annoyed with her sister now.

In the midst of that Helen started crying again and get's behind Wnya.

"Haaa! Seriously is this what you are going to do now Helen" Joy was about to lose her mind.

"See now also you all are trying to bully her. You all don't deserve happiness as you can't even see your friends being happy. Especially you Yumi, you don't deserve our friendship nor Andrew. Anyways he was going to break up with you for Helen soon. Good thing you saw it." hugging Helen, Wnya tells off.

" I never knew that friendships are built on a solid foundation of sarcasm, inappropriateness, and shenanigans. Fine! If you want to play the victim then you play the victim. I'll play the disinterested bystander. Let's go guys" saying that Yumi leaves. Anya, Joy, Rishika also leaves leaving Helen and Wnya shocked.

As they reach the cars Anya asks " Are you okay Yumi? Are you worried? Don't worry we will help you get over that bastard."

Yumi looks at her smiling and goes "Oh! Don't worry I'll get over it. I just need to be dramatic first."

They all shakes their head, laugh and then leave the place in their cars.

~1 Year later~

[ Meeting hall ]

Yumi and her team are meeting partners from different companies for their new business deal. Soon, meeting hall goes dim and the projector is showing slides noting that the meeting starts.

"Good afternoon everyone! I would like to introduce our new business partners who will be working for our next magazine. 'House of Novus' are the new collaborators with us and as we all know, we will work for "QUCCI" the brand. Now that we know each other, let's start the meeting." Yumi started the meeting with introducing people.

~after an hour~

"I think this will do for our first meeting. Hope our collaboration brings out great results. Thank you everyone for your time and efforts. Hope to see you all soon" the Representative from QUCCI said with a smile.

The meeting ended well and Yumi was relieved and impressed with the meeting.

"Thank you everyone" Yumi said.

Loosening her tie. 'So tired! I need some coffee..' she thought to herself.

She then took her things and moved towards the door, when suddenly she collided with someone.

" I'm sorry!" she said and lifted her head up to see the person.

The person looked at her and gave her a warm smile "It is just alright. Are you coming out from the QUCCI meeting? It is still going on?"

" Ah! No it just ended."

"I must be late. Thank you for telling me"

Nodding her head Yumi starts to leave when that person called her, "Excuse me! May i know your name please?"

" We don't know each other to exchange our names." Yumi smiles and start walking.

The man looks at her with a smile as she walks away.

After she leaves, the Representative of "House of Novus" enters.

"Did you just met Ms. Hedgur? She's the Director of 'DISPATCH FASHION' The company we're collaborating with" the representative informs.

"She's cute." the man says with a smile.

"Huh! Ms. Hedgur? Cute? Whom are you talking about sir ?"

" You only told me that her name is Ms. Hedgur." the man replies. "Come let's discuss about today's presentation. I wasn't able to join on time. How did the meeting went ?"

"It went really well sir. We will be working together with Ms. Hedgur's team from now on."

" Great! That's going to be interesting."
