Chapter 348 : Nangong Iren

Iren waited a moment. He then pressed the mask's eyes again. After a few seconds, Iren heard keys being turned. An instant later, the entrance opened. The door leaf moves towards the inside. Someone appeared from behind the door.

"Who are you looking for?" The person looked at Iren with a curious gaze.

<>

The person was a woman who was in her mid-thirties. The skin was rather dark. Her hair was slightly curly. Squinting his eyes, she traced Iren's figure from head to toe.

"I see that two people have just come into the house. One of them is taller than I am, and the other one is shorter."

"Then?" The person's tone grew increasingly unfriendly.

"Please say something to someone taller than me."

"What's your message?"

"The drifting clouds in the blue sky won't change direction even if the wind blows on a distant mountain."

"What are you talking about?" The woman snorted in annoyance. He looked at Iren with an increasingly strange look.

The drifting clouds in the blue sky won't change direction even if the wind blows on a distant mountain." Iren repeated his sentence.

The woman said nothing. Once again, she looked at Iren from head to toe.

"Please tell him that right now." Iren said that while bowing his body.

"Wait here!" The woman didn't smile. She closed the door.

Iren waited while standing in front of the door. On the wide terrace, there were several chairs and a table. But Iren chose to remain standing.

About two or three minutes later, the door opened again. The slightly curly haired woman reappeared in front of Iren. Her expression didn't change at all. Still exactly the same as before.

<>

"Please come in!" The woman took about three steps back.

<>

Iren entered behind the door. Iren's guess was not entirely correct. Behind the entrance was not a living room. But only a foyer.

The woman advanced towards the door. With a swift hand movement, she closed, and at the same time locked the entrance. Her expression looked even more sour.

<>

"Please follow me!" The woman pointed at herself.

Iren nodded.

The woman, who seemed to give off an extremely dense aura of hostility, walked away from the entrance. Iren followed her. Behind the foyer was a large room that Iren assumed was the living room. Iren dared not confirm that the room was really a living room. Maybe it was the second foyer or another room that Iren never knew existed.

The woman walked at a very fast pace. Iren was amazed because even though the woman was shorter than him, she could walk quickly, but her movement still looked natural. Iren, who was taller, was a little overwhelmed by the speed of the woman's steps.
